There is no question, if someone hits me I'm hitting them back. I think most people are like that.

There's two things wrong with that though: vilifying an entire gender isn't going to solve anything and I bet many books could be written on the subject there are so many reasons why. The second thing wrong with it is that you're showing a fragile and simplistic understanding of a society that is much more complicated. Guess what? You're right - women are favoured for certain things and in certain ways. Just in the same way that men are favoured for certain things and in certain ways. There are …

What you wrote would also be a useful statement in the context of replying to someone who wrote "Men are terrible". A good example of a not-so-useful statement would be "persons of group X are terrible". I understand why we might all want to say something like that at some point, I have myself. But I don't actually believe it when I say it nor do I dedicate an account to repeating it like the guy I replied to, or the other one who replied to me.

Because the context of what you're writing matters, particularly in an age of propaganda. And you appear to be a propaganda tool for anti-women divisiveness.

Funny, the shit you've done nothing but post on this throwaway is identical to the crap they spout. Same jargon and everything.

I am prepared to believe that in some cases equality is becoming more prevalent, however black men are still the most executed in the US. They often face the ultimate punishment in situations where you can demonstrate that a combination of skin colour, background and wealth have helped others escape that fate. The US is in a hell of a bad state human-rights wise and there are so many fronts on which that is happening that it seems unlikely that it will ever broadly change. Poor? Ethnic minority?…

Are you from this planet? Black people normally receive far harsher penalties for much lesser crimes. This is a fairly carefully considered and balanced result.

The real story here is he basically raped her and got away with it. How is it these male pigs think it's ok to stay this close to a proud independent woman when she begins to share her sexuality with urban nature?

They certainly have a set of rules relating to justice but I don't know that they're something I'd take pride in.

The French don't just pussypass women, they do it for everyone. A couple of their government sanctioned terrorists bombed one of our ships and killed a guy. We released them on the condition that they'd be punished appropriately. They were sent on holiday and had a child together instead.

Don't pussy-pass this bitch. She had a specific restriction to not physically assault the contestants and she disregarded it. That's all the context you need - if the genders were reversed (and two seconds after she hit him, they were) would you still be defending it? Nobody should be hitting anybody and this poor guy shouldn't have been assaulted further.

The guy in question was hospitalised and was nearly killed. I believe he's still seeking justice.

I'm more of a fan of socialism. Still, it's incredibly blind to not be aware that unscrupulous people rise to the top faster than everyone else. Sorry your sarcasm turned out so badly.

I'd suggest that most successful business owners are unscrupulous, opportunistic thieves so not a lot has changed. We shouldn't measure someone's success by to what degree they're willing to exploit others.

I've been saying for a while that the advice in this subreddit crosses the line between forwardness and coercive manipulation. Vindicated.

That you don't realise what's up is probably a major signal that you want to re-assess how you behave after receiving certain reactions. I would guess that you're also reading far too much into your latest response. Either way, it's your mistake to make and I've done all I can.

Well, yes, I do think it's insane that you'd repeat unacceptable behaviour and you're likely to get police attention if you keep that up. But the fucks you should care about are the fucks given by the women you're approaching. To them you're worse than a creep in that situation, you're a danger and a threat. If you can't approach women in a way that they're comfortable with, don't approach them.

My point is that presentation is mostly made up of what's on the inside. This subreddit practices some things I wouldn't want to be wearing on my lapels. Not to be negative or overly critical, I'm coming at this as a thing that may require adjustment. My automatic belief is that you all already have in you what you need to hit it off with a fine lady, you guys just gotta find it in the right way. That's a bit airy-fucking-fairy though so here it is in plain english: be easy going.

Space monkey, you make a good point. Gaining confidence is good for you. It is a pure concept and worth pursuing. Just make sure you're doing it for yourself (and if any of you are having trouble doing things solely for yourselves alone then you need more alcohol.)

Fuck it would be my response if I had brainwashed myself so much that I did something absolutely insane like that too. Bad insane by the way, at best she'll want to protect her granddaughters from someone who can't manage social norms (ie. crazy) and at worst thinks you might be making some insane play on her. Guys, why do you think this is OK to do? Women are attracted to men, not artificially extroverted freaks. Just be yourselves.

Why would nationality make a difference? Normally I'd be all for saying that this is just a hurdle but the age-difference preference is real. It's a good sign you need to move on and not resort to coercion.

Pros: he's handsome and confident and has a typical rich guy job. Those things he did right. Cons: he's seriously fucking creepy. Like maxxing out the creep scale. I would be asking if he has some sort of personality disorder after that. Do we know if she didn't simply give him a bullshit number or never answer his calls?

That would have come off as patronising I reckon, but then I'm not cute. The difference is whether your advances are welcome or not and that's entirely based on physical attraction. If you're cute it may well have been a fine opener.

I see your plan. You're making internet dating - that scourge whence forth only horrible women are met - sound so difficult that actually going out and learning to make friends and meeting normal people seem like the easy option it is. I commend your genius.
