MGTOW is, in part, walking away from a system that is biased against men. You speak about contraception. Here is contraception: Women are not treated equally under the law; men are treated worse. A women can bring a child into the world and still not be held legally responsible for the child. She can give the child up for adoption, or literally drop that baby off at a hospital/police station anonymously and escape all financial responsibility for the baby. Men can't. If the woman keeps the baby,…

Two hundred years ago, a sixteen year old guy was considered a man. And they got married at sixteen. Remember, they were much more conservative back then, judgemental and being 'proper'. This tells me that culturally approved marriages at sixteen meant men and women were raised differently and were more mature. I think the present is a consequence of the way children's maturity is impaired by snowflakiness and other mal-adapative tendencies taught in schools, tv, etc.

Because men have a higher sex drive, contrary to what women claim is an equal sex drive. Since men want it more than women, and women know it, it gives women the power. How do I know? Just imagine a world in which men's sexual desire was lower than that of women and men's general interest in women was lower than that of women's interest. What would happen? Women would pursue men, women would pay for dinner, because men would be 'the catch'. There would also probably be a lot less feminism and th…

"I’m tired of people talking down on me" Other people's opinion gets you down. You have two choices: Enter a mindset where your own self-worth is not affected by other people's opinion of you. Accept that you cannot do #1, and conform to other people's desires. If you do this, then other people will have a measure of control over your self-esteem. This would contribute to a feeling of no control. Could this be what you are actually feeling? Number 2 is not productive. Work on #1. It is an ongoin…

Feminist: Men are not entitled to women's attention. MGTOW: Women are not entitled to men's attention nor compliments from men. ME: Why do feminists feel entitled to men's attention, and feel entitled to control men's speech?

"Prest, a steadfast supporter of requiring men to obtain affirmative consent from women without exception" This feminist talks about a case where the woman was the aggressor, touched the man and performed oral sex without his consent, then got the man dismissed from university because he 'failed to obtain consent'. This feminist was so biased, and succeeded in creating an equal bias in this university, that a man's consent is not needed. And that the man was responsible for the woman's actions. …

Single Men Make Less Money I've seen that mentioned many times. Once they actually mentioned men paying less taxes, so it's what men do for society that was important to that writer. Men work more when they have a family. That's natural to provide for your family. But feminists try to twist it into a contest and that 'women are oppressed' because men make more money. Men never say 'men are oppressed because they have to work harder because they give women what women say they want: women want to …

The average Train Driver salary is £47,705. Notice no affirmative action program for garbage men. the feminists only try and snatch higher paying jobs that men do. But research shows quite well that women are less interested in more dangerous jobs, especially with worse hours. If women actually get hired, I suspect there will be 'expectation' of the non-women employees to accommodate the 'family needs' of the women. In other words, more affirmative action to compensate for the problems created b…

"women apparently only raise school shooters" You are conflating a statistical increase risk of school shooters and criminals with 'women only raise school shooters". I recognize you are taking this as a personal attack, but as feminists say, gender equality shouldn't be a zero-sum game. When men talk about things that affect them (fatherlessness with its increased risk of criminality), you make it about women. There are always two sides. this is about the importance of fathers, which our societ…

Just because a man didn't verbally object to a woman putting his penis in her mouth doesn't mean he consented. "If you go in somebody’s dorm room and she touches you, and places your penis in her mouth, she has not conveyed consent." According to this feminist, if the woman is the active/aggressor one, and the man didn't not consent, the only thing that matters to this feminist is that the woman who communicated her consent by acting, did not actually consent. But, the man who did not act, well,…

If it's legal in your jurisdiction, have another meeting with her and record the conversation. They write back to them and if they refuse to correct it, file a discrimination complaint under the human rights code in your jurisdiction. Almost all jurisdictions cover discrimination in education. I stated that it is women who try to impose shame on men and that men do not shame each other. I am blaming women for imposing this on men. I'm not blaming men. A simple solution is for women to stop shaming men. Very simple. In Eastern Europe where feminism has little reign, men are quite vocal and expressive, including about their emotions. I read a post from an Eastern European guy who dated an American women. The women kept getting upset and even angry when the man expressed his opinions and…

Fifteen thousand years ago, not only were all individuals co-dependent on family for survival, but also dependent on the extended tribe with whom they all lived with as a community. This was commonly at most 75-150 people who lived in the same hunter-gatherer 'village'. Since proper cooperation was essential to survival, I suspect social rules were such that disagreements were dealt with better. If only because the survival of the group depended on it. I recognize this is only a theory of mine, …

yes, I'm familiar with that. The women are wonderful effect does not specifically claim to be instinctive behavior. I think it is instinctive. So for example, if we ever created a society where men and women are treated equally both under the law and socially, I still think people would have more empathy for women because it is instinctive. An instinctive behavior would be difficult to eradicate and would need to be actively suppressed. This is one reason why I think so many laws that are biased…

I'm actually familiar with her research. Most articles that discuss this however (including the atlantic article) do not say it is woman who impose this on men. Instead, they rephrase this as men's inability to 'open up'. More bias in favor of women to relieve them of responsibility by placing it on men. Most importantly, Imposing shame on someone is a separate thing from showing empathy. You are conflating the two.
/r/MensRights15/11/18 01:07 AM

And that's the gender-empathy gap. Which shows men and women have more empathy for women than men. What you are describing is also a social expectation of men. Would a woman do the same for the man? Less likely. Would a man do the same for her kids? Yes. The psychology test is done in a gender neutral way, so it avoids gender-specific issues like what you are describing. If you broke down crying in a public place, would a man or woman be more likely to come up to you? I'm an antifeminist, but I …

/r/MensRights15/11/18 12:24 AM

Empathy is a psychological trait. If you compare a random woman and a random man, about 60-64% of the time, the women will be more empathetic than the man on the psychological personality scale when measured. So on average, yes, but it's actually not a huge difference.

Yes, the problem is she didn't plan ahead. I recognize a woman's right to not plan ahead and if she does it's her problem. I also recognize the right of women to create their own problems. It's not men's problem.

Many things, but the final straw was when a woman at work grabbed my ass, but that's not what bothered me the most. What bothered me the most was when I turned around and calmly pointed out that it was sexual assault to do that, she threatened to falsely accuse me of grabbing her ass. Four other women who were smiling at the fact she grabbed my ass, all nodded their heads in agreement. So five women threatened to falsely accuse me of sexual assault. Men didn't create these present attitudes towards men. Feminists with the help of women did. I believe more and more than humans have an instinctive empathy bias in favor of women. I helped a woman once. Not CPR, but she fell while going up a staircase. I couldn't ask her 'permission', to prevent her from falling and hitting possibly her head, I grabbed her. But the closest thing was her blouse (by her chest). Feminists defined sexual coercion as using sex to manipulate others. By withholding and using sex to try to manipulate men's election choice, this feminist author is advocating sexual coercion of men. Just shows once again how feminism isn't about equality.

A high school diploma is a prerequisite for many jobs. If you have a business failure you may need a job before becoming an entrepreneur again. Self-made millionaires usually fail many times before success. If you owned a business, and one guy finished high school and the other didn't, who would you hire? The guy who finished high school, of course. He's has demonstrated more of a commitment to work for it. Keep your options open and finish school.

One of the two women who have been factually found to have lied and falsely accused Kavanaugh of rape was a left-leaning feminist activist (Judy Monroe-Leyton). still biased. If there was a rape, they would have updated and stated charges were made. Not mentioning charges against the false accuser show a bias again because they would have said it if it were a male false accuser. I think marriage capitalized on both men and women. by pushing abstinence for both until marriage, making the cost of sex high for men, men were willing to work hard. Women needed resources and couldn't do it all themselves. Imagine a primitive society with no marriage, men abandoning the women and children whenever they felt like it. Such a society could never advance beyond primitive societies. Capitalizing on men's labor and redirecting part to women helped the society. Or, think of society a…

ou haven't said what the plans are when the kid[s] are born. Most common is the mother takes time off and stops working. I will proceed assuming this is the case. If she's going to do that and expect you to have no life in addition to you working full time, that is a very biased situation. Child care isn't 40 hours a week. A newborn sleeps 23.5 hours per day. If you're looking for a date, do along the lines of #3. If you're looking for a wife, invite her to do something that doesn't cost money, like go for a walk. If she's interested, she definitely accept because she will clearly take it to be an opportunity to talk and get to know each other. If she says 'we should do....' which costs money, she wants validation/have herself elevated/using you for money, and that doesn't make for wife material.

I would tell them. I would tell them: Half of all marriages end in divorce and most divorces are initiated by women. Women are not committed to marriage. (This is a counter-take on women's false complaint that 'men are afraid of committment') The court systems is biased against men and gives custody to women 85% of the time. Higher divorce rate and marital unhappiness for women with more premarital sex partners The above article only discusses women. I read elsewhere, but I can't find the reference, that men have been studied. The link is so much weaker for men, that a woman with one premarital sex partner has the same increased risk of divorce as a man with 20 premarital sex partners. I found the Google women's demand that a mechanism for anonymous accusations to be crazy. They would expect of course for 'action' to be taken, but since an accused cannot defend himself/herself when the accused doesn't even know who accused him, taking 'satisfactory' action would require biases in favor of the accused, suspension of due process. The accusations would probably also leave out details to prevent identification of the accuser, and therefore could be more difficult to determine what…

I've read here in a reddit that, in ancient Sparta, women obtained property rights which was the main wealth generation mechanism back then. Because earning income still required labor investment on the woman's part, this induced women to not have children, who would required the woman's time and deplete her wealth generation potential. Eliminating marriage would markedly reduce male parental investment. In my opinion, that was the original purpose of marriage. To help the children. There are feminists who want to abolish marriage. Why would they want to do this? Collectivist is a term I borrowed from the left. Especially left-leaning feminists use it as a positive, in order to criticize 'competition' which is described as masculine behavior and they ascribed negativity in their writings. Look it up. Above photo was a summary of info in the following link: http://misc.com.au/Young_People_and_Domestic_Violence_-_full_report.pdf This 2001 study was repeated a few years later, except the violence and attitudes showing girls in Australia condoned violence more than boys was no longer broken down by gender. Shortly after a program in Australia was started in some school in which boys were 'pressured' into standing and taking a pledge to never hit girls. The girls were not even asked.

I'm on there a lot. I think the more outspoken ones would downvote you. Simultaneously, most of them are mgtow because of false allegations or divorce. This means for them, mgtow is about risk avoidance. This reason does not mean intamcy is unwanted. Many probably would prefer it, and would never have been mgtow 70 years ago. At the same time, they are entitled to express their view, as you are yours.

If (and only if) there were male witnesses, report it. Even if it didn't bother you very much, the fact that they hit you shows they feel entitled. The fact that the hit you in your groin is also a deliberate choice to communicate to you. If they were found out, punished and received forced counseling/treatment, they might not sexually assault another guy in the future.

Be aware that Teen boys report more violence than girls when dating: new study. In addition, more teenage girls think its ok to hit guys than the other way around. If you do date, warning signs are controlling behavior (getting angry at you if you don't want to do something). This will tend to escalate to violence in girls and I'm telling you these facts because more domestic violence ignores male victims because people don't care about men. If she start with this, dump her to protect yourself. …

An antidote to Briffault's law: 'The female, not the male, determines all the conditions of the animal family. Where the female can derive no benefit from association with the male, no such association takes place. — Robert Briffault, The Mothers, Vol. I, p. 191'

Unfortunately, the feminists still think they have the upper hand with being entitled to require 'believe all women' (which means disbelieve men) as evidence by the kavanaugh baseless accusations. Even with the changing story. The time it supposedly happened was 'mid 80's', then early 80's, then July '82 as time went on. None of the witnesses corroborated her story, one women even denied having met Kavanaugh. This suggested that, at a minimum, Ford got the wrong person. There are still guys bein…

You're talking to guys who don't want the drama from women. But here's one tip I used to follow when I did date: if you start something with a women, the first thing to do is invite her for something that doesn't cost money, like go for a walk. If she counters with suggesting something else that costs money, dump her. It's amazing how the blue pill conditioning makes you not see the selfish nature of women. Watching youtube MGTOW videos often results in recommendations to me for non-mgtow videos about relationships. Sounds like a 'modern woman' who has adopted the feminist idea that men and women are equal, except where women are superior. Therefore, a man needs a woman. I've also noted that women are adopting the feminist notion of superior morality of women. Because men commit more crime. Therefore a woman needs to 'guide' a man. It's present day's version of narcissistic self-congradulation of women.

Even though the consequence is small, the consequence of this is to increase the tax burden even more to men, and further remove it from women. Even if you ignore the fact that men pay most taxes, we don't even get half the benefits. It goes disproportionately to women. This just shifts the burden onto men even more. Feminism isn't about equality. It's about biases in favor of women, while trying hard to hide it.

Innocent until proven guilty for criminal cases. A victim could also sue in civil court and only need to prove on the balance of probabilities, but for some reason none of these women want to do that... They just want to sabotage guy's reputations. The point is that it is a very high price to pay to put your life on the line for just 'honor.' Some feminists say 'kill all men'. Therefore, all feminists hate men. Same stupid argument applies to MGTOW, although I've never read a MGTOW stating he hates women. Is Cornell’s acceptance rate being 3x higher for women discrimination towards men? Legitimate question Discrimination is plain discrimination. Preventing more qualified men from entering a profession, or any other discrimination penalizes men (and society) from the benefit of the more qualified person. A level playing field with the same rules based on merit for everyone is non-dicriminatory for everything but merit, and it is appropriate to discriminate on merit.

Leftism is collectivism. In this system, the productivity of a person's labor does not belong to himself, but is collectivized. In the feminist's mind, marriage is oppressive because it limits a woman's sexuality. If a woman's sexuality is unleashed and she never pair bonds or kicks her man out, the children still need to be provided for. A single woman can't do it all herself. But with leftism and collectivism, a man's labor can be co-opted by the state and redistributed to women. I think this …

As women gained more power in the roman empire, birthrates fell and this contributed to the fall of rome. Ancient sparta had a good birthrate. Then they gave women property rights. Because of maternal investment reducing income, women had less babies. 200 years after women got property rights in Sparta, the population of Sparta was 1/5 of what it was at the time women got property rights. Sparta was conquered, women lost property rights and the birthrate became sustainable. This has all happened…

Feminists who talk about this ignore the fact that dress codes in the workplace/elsewhere are more restrictive for men. There are more choices for women. The fact that they only talk about dress codes for women means they don't care if men are 'restricted'. They only care that women don't have freedom.

Yes, I've had a few resentful thoughts. Sometimes I think that the falling birthrate among native born peoples is good because muslims will take over and bring back a patriarchy which prevents women from having a say in society. I used to think islam was biased against women. Now I think they realized something about the nature of women we have forgotten. This thought was unfortunately born out of revenge. Fortunately I'm thinking less this way recently.

His ex sold his truck which was his property (not shared in Canada if purchased prior to marriage). The truck had about $15 000 in tools (probably $40 000-$60 000 today) and the ex pocketed the money. Never charged, and it didn't count against her in the divorce. She just wanted revenge against him. Protect yourself!

"I don’t understand why white women are not considered overly privileged far more than white males" I think that because women have a tendency to have more agreeable personalities, this causes them to be more likely to agree with the false narrative "women are oppressed" if they hear that often enough. Well spoken. Polygamy benefits the small number of alpha males at the expense of the rest of men. Hypergamy helps most women at men's general expense, but actually harms the small number of women at the top who find it difficult to get an 'equal partner (which is code for someone who makes more than the woman'.

Psychology research shows that women tend to be more 'agreeable'--to go along with the crowd; men have less of this personality trait. When feminists are surrounded by other feminists who have the same negative views about motherhood, women can more easily form negative opinions about it. From our male point of view, since we are less likely to be swayed by other's opinion, this can be more difficult to us to understand how some women get this way. Motherhood: the new oppression

The biggest problem with #Metoo from the male point of view is that it is trying to legitimize false allegations. Women can't see that. To explain it to a woman: You're a woman. You're a woman who does not sexually harass women. A woman at work makes an allegation against you. Because you are a woman who does not sexually harass women, it is a false allegation. Guess what women? Men don't think any differently. The allegation results in an investigation for the accused woman. At the investigatio…

A woman should control her own body--yes. A woman has the legal right to make others (taxpayers) pay for her choice--no. Having the 'right' to displace the consequences of one's choices onto others is a form of power, in this case unilateral power that women would have. This removes some of the responsibilities for one's actions onto others. The is by definition of lack of full responsibility for one's actions. No.

the phrase "The future is female" comes from an essay written by feminist Sally Miller Gearhart called “The Future — If There Is One — Is Female”. This essay says among other things “The proportion of men must be reduced to and maintained at approximately 10% of the human race.” Therefore, 'the future is female' comes from a source promoting genocide against men. The next time someone tells you this, explain its genocidal origin. They probably don't know.

They screwed you. You have moved on, but you are still clearly angry; your multi-year anger is aimless and purposeless. I was once cheated out of $25 000 because I made a verbal agreement. I learned a life lesson. Now, I have a telephone recording device and quietly record important in-person meetings (legal in Canada). I am no longer angry. The past cannot be changed. Severing contact because you are angry sound like a good thing in your case. Use your anger to motivate yourself to learn from t…

This is a passive female way of saying 'don't dress like that'. But she doesn't want to actually say that because it would be telling him how to dress. Therefore the man is supposed to 'think about it' and 'get it' and decide 'himself' to stop dressing that way. Plausible deniability. Whatsa matter with you bro? Haven't you learned 'the rules'?

Feminists calling for women to be paid in the workplace/elsewhere for 'emotional labor' is tantamount to me doing something for you without request, and then insisting that you pay me. Especially in the workplace, doing something that's not part of your job does not entitle you to extract payment from your employer.

My point was not about taxes. I didn't mention them. Women often argue for benefits with the argument 'a woman shouldn't be penalized for her biology'. This was an argument for maternity leave, and some have used it for taxes for tampons. But they only use it for women. My point was to indicate how unreasonable it is by applying the same principle to men. Feminists tend to be biased in favour of women so the point is only understood by reversing the genders. Feminists don't DO equality.

Women already receive a disproportionate about of tax benefits, without pulling their own weight in tax contributions. No, they should pay the tax. Tampons shouldn't be taxed because they're essential and women shouldn't be penalized for their biology? Using the same false twisted logic, men are oppressed because they are bigger and have more lean body weight with higher calorie requirements. Therefore, to ensure equality and to ensure men are not oppressed by their biology, men should pay a low…

I think you can recognize that being gay/lgbt and mgtow(largely in response to female nature/feminism in heterosexual relationships) seems at least somewhat contradictory. How do you reconcile these two?

I wonder if these were actually women pretending to be men: "... So I guess I selfishly provide these orgasms" This is female-oriented solipsistic thinking. I don't even think most cucks would think like this.

Yes, too young to consent to a sexual encounter, but old enough to supposedly 'consent' to life-altering sexuality with hormone-blockers and sexual identity. I know the feminists would not want to change the age of consent. This is hypocrisy. I wonder if these kids will sue as adults when they discover they were never trans but it was advocated so much that they 'converted'. At least 75% of kids with gender dysphoria grow out of it; more grow up to be gay rather than trans.

I see some feminists talking about 'feminine men' being attractive and sexually attractive. The point of the video was to show that this point of view deviates from the norm

Never seen 50% of housework by men, but the pew research study says when you look at paid and unpaid work, men and women average out about equal (54hours men, 53hours women): https://www.today.com/money/many-moms-dads-are-stressed-out-having-it-all-1C8872389 However, this pew research study excluding yardwork, house repairs, commuting time to work (longer in men), so I think total work is longer for men.

Brene Brown is a feminist sociologist whose research showed that most shaming experienced by men actually comes from women, and that women shame men for 'weakness of any sort'. So it is actually women who are demanding that men not show weakness. That can't be patriarchy: https://www.theatlantic.com/sexes/archive/2013/04/messages-of-shame-are-organized-around-gender/275322/

Possible responses: When you put down men and try to indicate they are inferior, does this cause you to feel superior? Why do you have such an inferiority complex such that you need to put down men just to feel better?

Also, try to see it from a feminist's point of view. You framed the question as a zero-sum game--'we can only start looking at men if we stop focusing on women'--we don't have to. You could rephrase the question "When is it going to be okay to include men's issues?"

Although a rapist can go free, it is also true that a man can and are convicted of rape solely on the basis of a woman's testimony: https://www.theguardian.com/society/2017/aug/24/woman-jailed-10-years-false-rape-claims-jemma-beale However, even when there is proof of a false accusation--woman admits it, or videorecorded evidence of the woman non-consenually grabbing man's genitals: http://www.abajournal.com/magazine/article/lights_camera_evidence_video_is_the_latest_defense_to_rape_charges/ the…

The fact that you think talking about the topic of false rape is "used to de-legitimized victims" means you think its discussion is a zero-sum game. If you ever won with this argument and discussion of false accusations was never addressed, women could make more false accusations. This attitude also indicates your zero-sum game attitude about problems that concern men-you think men's problems should not be addressed.

Your assertion about out of every 1,000 instances of rape assumes that all accusations are true before even being evaluated by police. This is equivalent to 'the accusation is the verdict [Diana Davidson]'. Even by your own admission, the 1,000 includes false accusations. Your own statement therefore conflates false accusations as actual rape. 53% percent false rapes even the Delhi commission for women recognizes that revenge is often the motivation: http://www.dnaindia.com/india/report-53-rape-…
