No, dingbat. Classic candyman420 rebuttal. It's like an intellectual swoosh. Nothing but net as he destroys anyone he thinks he's arguing with.

Did you steal your name from a hooker with a lunch special? EDIT: Phrased like a question.

Welcome to the sausage car! Inside you will find many types of sausage! However, you will not find types of anything other than sausage.

Dude, forget about what you think you're supposed to do. That's just what you think other people think about what you should do. How fucked up is that? You already know what's right for you. There are tons of super good-looking girls who have nothing else to offer. Why would you be interested in that? You are looking for an interesting person to connect with, and that makes you a million times more interesting. Focus on yourself. Feel good. Have fun. You'll find that connection, probably multipl…

Wait until he has a girlfriend? You mean your girlfriend? Why don't you just cut to the chase and fuck each other. Or, realize who's at fault - your girlfriend - and kick her to the curb.

I'm not here to defend /r/seduction as a community, but you really missed the point here. Being happy and confident with yourself is not equivalent to being an asshole. How do you get from "Hot girls are people, too" to assuming they just want to have a one night stand with some douche? Sounds like you have some preconceived notions that might be driving this bias.

Hmm. I guess I don't understand the idea that being in a relationship that isn't working is somehow better than being single. But, it seems that a lot of women feel this way.

Stuck? As in, refusing to leave or help themselves to a better, happier life? Sounds like the kind of woman who's going to lead guys down a path of emotional entanglement and physical denial. Next!

If you're going to show her your penis, don't do it right in front of a bouncer. I work security at a club this weekend. The guy left me no choice. I had to taze him, bro.

yeah man, no worries about keeping it rational and civil. if i came off as rude and condescending i honestly apologize. still, you and i will just have some differences in opinion. Cool. I'm glad we're discussing this now in a friendly way and willing to ask each other questions, rather than jump to erroneous conclusions. I, too, sounded really condescending with my "easy bro" and "death machine" comments. Sorry for that. i disagree that black belts are completely subjective and don't mean anyth…

As a non-local who is staying there for a while, I have to say it's pretty dead from Sunday-Thursday. Friday and Saturdays are insane. But, even during the down time, there are always a few fine ladies around the pool. Pretty much all of them seem ready to go. The bar is really hit or miss on these nights. Make friends with the bartenders. They are super nice ladies and always down to chat and introduce you to other people in the bar.

Without providing too much information about myself, I will give you a rundown about my training. Hopefully, we can talk about this rationally, and you can get let go of the completely unfounded assumption that you know more about martial arts than anyone else. I'm in my mid-30s. I've trained in a variety of styles since I was 10 years old. I started teaching classes part-time when I was 18. At 24, I became a full-time instructor at a mixed martial arts school. I have several "black belts" of va…

Easy, bro. I'm sure your martial arts school has trained you to be a totally badass death machine. Care to share how it's obvious that I have no experience with this?

Exactly. You don't need to validate your ego by feeling like you could beat the shit out some random dude. And realistically, most martial arts schools will just train you to lose to the instructor. When you practice punching/kicking/grappling a person without hurting them in a class, it transfers directly when you're in a real situation. Sure, you could build a bunch of false confidence based on a hypothetical combat situation between you and some dude at a bar. Or, you could just be a cool guy…

It's how we deal with shame that defines us. I believe people desserve second chances. I also believe that people make poor decisions due to factors such as shame. I suggest the OP tries to discern wether this was a bad judgement call and that's all or this incident is indicative of a larger pattern of behaviour.

Perhaps marriage is a childish choice in the first place.

It's one thing to be immature about money. It's another thing to lie to your partner. I would consider the impact of this type of deception in your relationship. Do you feel like this is isolated or perhaps indicative of a larger pattern?

You know, I agree with a lot of what this guy says. But, does it seem to anyone else that there is a hefty undercurrent of misogyny on that board?

You are in an abusive relationship. It's your responsibility to leave. Staying with your wife will: 1) potentially put you in further danger 2) condone her actions 3) prevent you from ever having a healthy emotional relationship with yourself or a partner
