Oh god... I have a friend like this and I didn’t even realize that’s why I’ve become so emotionally drained whenever I was around her.. once she even joked saying, “if my bf dumps me I’ll come crawling back to you guys.” In the end he dumped her so yea she really did come crawling back.

Honestly same I think I’m mostly done with men, it is so much better to be single forever than stuck with a terrible lvm. Back in junior year I was talking to an older man (and I thought because he was older he’d be mature but lmaooooo that’s a fucking lie) but the topic of body hair came up. And he asked me what he thinks about not shaving leg hair and armpit hair. I just told him personally I liked to shave my leg and armpit hair but if others don’t want to that’s their choice, then he goes of…

I found this sub by searching up advice on google actually LOL, I ended up being really irritated and confused about why women (especially my friends) would date guys who were totally way below their league in terms of not only ambitions/goals but also a crusty dusty dude who wouldn’t even wash his face cuz he thought he was too good for basic hygiene :// and the most ironic thing is he ended up dumping her after 4 years of dating! Anyways I always see way more women who are attractive, funny, s…

I'm still a teen but in all honesty I'm really glad a sub like this exists. Personally back in the beginning of high school I had a tendency to get on social media or online and engage in chatrooms with older men. I wish back then someone told me more about the dangers of talking to older men online. I had a lot of self esteem issues (still some leftover) but whenever I talked to older men somehow it gave me satisfaction?? Like it made me feel validated or noticed. Fortunately, I have never sent…

HOly shit same, are you me?? I've been told the same shit as a kid. It really fucked me up as a kid thinking somehow it was normal to be thrown rude and offensive things as a sign of "affection". It fucking isn't a sign of affection, it only sets up young girls to think that abusive and being treated like shit is the norm. It really makes me so upset how adults think it's okay to tell young girls and brush aside their concerns or fears like that.

"Boys are only mean to you if they like you!" Oh god... As a kid, a boy bullied me and the teachers and my mom would say "Oh! He's just picking on you because he LIKES you." I hated hearing that as a kid and I wish adults would stop saying this to young girls and stop brushing their concerns aside, all it does is enforce this belief to young girls that rude, harassment, and offensive behavior is "affection" when it really isn't. It isn't cute or adorable to be bullied at all. I know for sure tha…

It's crazy how our expectations or standards are seen as "unrealistic" when really the current standards for men has been set sooo LOW, that having normal standards for men is seen as "unrealistic". An old friend of mine even dated some dude who didn't even have basic decency to wash his damn face because he was "too lazy" and thought it was "gay" to take care of his BASIC hygiene. Men neg women into lowering their standards, talking about "yOu'Ll bE fOrEeVeR aLoNeE" at this point I rather reall…

How do men have it as bad as women?? Literally women have a list of standards they must reach aka perfect makeup, hairless as a baby's bottom, be slim yet "thicc", etc. Yet men are told they can have their "dad bods", grow untrimmed beards, be hairy af, no skincare, etc. The expectations of women and men aren't even close to the same level, women obv have it way worse :// and don't even get me started on how women get hated for "basic" hobbies or when they like other hobbies that are male domina…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
