FDS accuses men of the very same thing. They posted a really similar story just recently and then everyone in the comments agreed with each other about how horrible men were. It's just funny these conversations are going on at the same time with no awareness of one another. Exact same stuff, just gender-swapped. As a neutral observer you wonder what's really going on I wish I could leave them the same comment but they've built themselves an absolutely airtight echo chamber

I highly doubt they have an arrangement. This is just another narcissist that doesn't like not being the centre of attention because her dying husband needs so much care Narcissists think like that. It's a trait which is no more common in women than in men but absolutely dominates this sub. You could call this place r/HereAreAllTheFemaleNarcissists tbh

It's an eating disorder / food addiction. She probably eats giant portions but if you'd ask her why, she would say "I have not eaten much yesterday" or "I've exercised a lot today" or "This is low-calorie" or some other bullshit excuse I heard someone say "I don't know why I'm so fat, I don't eat any sweets" and then demolish huge boba teas (very sweet Korean drink) on a regular basis plus confessing to feel ill from and avoiding VEGETABLES . All of them. I would sit next to that same person at …

Dating isn't even that bad in your 30s. These ladies have other issues going on so they like to blame these bigger external factors

To me what she describes has to be mutual, gradual, and not how you behave towards everyone you are getting to know for dating purposes It's normal that people that are young and naïve are more enthusiastic about these things for no good reason other than lack of life experience Becoming more mature and not creating a romantic mixtape for a person you barely know or don't see a future with is not a bad thing Ultimately there's no blueprint. If she's having such a bad time she's barking up the wr…

I don't know that guy but woke feminism is in fact awful. Framing every interaction with a man as a weird power thing is very harmful to your mental health. I still remember how shocked I was to realise this There's legitimate feminist issues but "feminism" is not necessary the best way to fix anything. Same with every other dogmatic belief or ideology. You gotta be able to look at things from different perspectives and apply common sense that is tailored to the actual situation and all its nuan…

"Love another man" lmao Or did she mean "I'm horny for my young coworker from another nation who I don't know shit about except that he doesn't respect that I'm married" Watch them on 90 day fiancé next But in all seriousness, this is just narcissists and their fucking drama. Has the husband really turned into a fat angry slob? Probably he's gained a few and the butterflies are gone. But the narcissist gotta dream big and add a bit of spice to her life. She's got to be special. No one's fatter a…

Unmarked? Does that mean without tattoos? In general it's bad practice to come into online dating with a list of things that exclude 99% of the population, even if you don't bring in 3 young kids and potential drama with the ex (which will make most people want to exclude you) The longer the list, the more likely that you will never meet this person you're describing, probably because they don't exist In the meantime everyone not fulfilling one of the criteria or more will avoid you unless they …

She should have just been his platonic friend. Close friendships with men are awesome. The fact she has made this a romantic/sexual relationship, faking attraction for years, is morally reprehensible. She should feel extremely guilty, robbing this guy she supposedly loves of having something real with someone else Fact is you can heal all on your own / with a therapist. You can be single. I don't think any mental health professional in their right mind would suggest that you should pick a guy yo…

I think it goes beyond sex. It's code for a "complete lack of charm and any sort of physical and perhaps even general show of affection". She gets comfortable when you stick to the script, romancing her according to very narrow expectations This is what she means by "traditional". It means "welcome to the theatre, act out my gender role play with me while I watch every move closely. I expect you to know your role by heart although the script is only in my head" Meaning she will be passive af, an…

Another creepy disgusting narcissist trying to get sympathy for being a creepy disgusting narcissist Why would you not want to kiss someone you supposedly love? Not even a peck? Oh she feels ill? But fucking the guy is somehow okay? Basically she is using sex as a tool to secure the life that she wants. Gotta let him get some action before he grows to suspicious. I think the best course of action in online dating is to just focus on yourself and what you offer on your profile. Then you can swipe right on people who have done the same and offer what you want. If it's a match, then bingo. Describing an example of a fictional relationship or fictional potential partner is a bad tactic for so many reasons Provide the information you actually have. Take stock of what's actually out there

I'm actually getting major Psycho Bitch vibes from this one. Her social media and house will be all hearts and live laugh love shit and then she'll accuse you of rape or something General rule: If people post big lettered instructional or preachy graphics like this without a shred of humour, they are guaranteed insane and dangerous in my opinion There will all kinds of drama and abuse, gotta avoid them completely

I just like that she starts off yelling about how the men she swipes right on and chats and meets up with won't commit to her "I AM HAVING A BAD TIME WTF IS HAPPENING HOW DARE YOU" I wonder what dates with her are like. Are they any documentaries on this? I've seen 5 with guys searching for love in foreign nations, where's the extensive reporting on women in their 30s and 40s looking for love with belligerent profiles?

I mean this person is a guaranteed full blown narcissist, it's dripping from almost every sentence, so yeah 100% was she after the money. Maybe it just dawned on him what she was, how she was already salivating at the vision of a lazy future sponsored by him, ready to abandon any independence at the first opportunity But of course she does the old narcissistic up is down and claims to have lost her independence now that she's forced to be independent for real Oh god, I fucking hate narcissists. …

Hair loss among women is more common than you think. About 55% of women experience some hair loss by the age of 70, the most common cause is female pattern baldness, which is inherited age-related hair loss The sexes are different but not that different

Ironically, she would be financially better off dating another intern Yet she stays on, and complains, and the language she uses is weird. New coupling? Emotional labour of talking to your bf? Yeah it's basically an awful coping strategy that doesn't address the underlying issue at all. They gotta figure it out and find the middle. That healthy middle ground. Where you have an actual sense of self-worth, not the temporary illusion of one by being really mean to potential dates

I don't think she got dumped, she took college hookup culture too far, trying to score points by fucking as many guys as possible, that's why she says semesters too Now she's trying to find a relationship but clearly she's not moved on. She might be scarred by the experience actually, feeling deeply ashamed but she cannot admit it so she's ironically trying to wear it as a badge of honour Look at the whole bio. I think she only phrases it this way because she's proud of "winning" colleague hookup culture. In reality she kept partying and hooking up the rest of the year, adding to the number. She's not gonna subtract hookups off-campus and end up with a "less impressive" figure

It sounds like she's proud of the achievement. I listened to a podcast about hookup culture, maybe Freakonomics Radio, it's a game about status. Fuck hot "high value" people, score social points. Obviously these points are only valid in your hookup colleague circles, so kinda niche and temporary, which she doesn't seem to fully understand A good portion of students does not participate at all. I did have that thought. "Is that like prostitution but you didn't even get paid?" It's just hard for me to wrap my head around a body count that high. Even my slutty bisexual colleague has 50+ lifetime, not in a year, and his bar is low plus Grindr makes it super easy for him. So what the hell was she doing? Going out three times a week and hooking up with some random guy every time? Sounds like an addiction / serious mental health issue to me

Standard standoffish text and NO single interesting or attractive attribute expressed. What does she offer? Nothing. A newborn. Lack of sleep, immense cost, responsibility.... That's a lot to ask of complete strangers. Btw, the body can take up to 2 YEARS to heal from childbirth. I don't use Snapchat but why would you invite random people you have not screened at all to add you on a social media where they can send you lewd messages and dick pics and whatnot??? The whole beauty of Tinder is that you can quickly screen a large number of people, and then choose to only interact with a select few - that is selecting for the quality of the profile overall, not just looks. This is how you avoid wasting your time. It kills me that she has such an idiotic approach, sharing her …

You can definitely train yourself to notice even the more subtle ones. I really don't understand why they do this. They are creating their own competition to compare badly against. You always need to show what you actually look like, or it backfires on you as soon as you meet people

I feel threatened by her eyebrows. They look so weird and unnatural. Like some kind of permanent makeup disaster. "can't carry a well-rounded conversation" makes it sounds like she expects life to be a movie and the other person to always say the perfect thing at the right time. You know who's really good at that, who has that skill? Manipulative psychos. Dark triad personality types. Good luck with that then. I'm desperate to know what she actually looks like. This is one fake ass picture. Plus she has her daughter and is an open relationship? Does that mean the guy doesn't want to take any responsibility for the kid = she's not in a relationship, just sleeping around? She says she's not embarrassed but I think she really is or she wouldn't insist on it like that. She shows so many signs of being insecure, like giving a count of her tattoos and piercings, supporting that hypothesis I saw that a lot on Tinder, people with humourless profiles insisting they're funny, or someone with a mean profile insisting they're a nice person etc The lies! I actually had an even lower swipe rate, and that included plenty of experiments or what I call "wildcards" that were more for testing my Tinder theories The trick is not to be picky but smart. Almost all users on Tinder have relatively lazy bios that show little personality etc. There could be a great person behind that but you just don't know. You can't meet everyone, so you wanna maximize the chances that your matches can go all the way. Less is more, at all stages of the process, so mostly l…

Depressed vulnerable narcissist. 100% I've met women like this in real life. Good point. I would add that a lot of the bios from both sexes seem highly repetitive. Not gonna sit there and decipher the emoji vomit of thousands of people. I'd be there all day My approach was screening as many bios as possible as quickly as possible Increasingly I didn't read bios anymore, not fully, just quickly check for originality and length. This eliminates most users. Then those that fulfill the criteria are analysed further for red flags, "markers of compatibility" etc Learning which…

These men may not even read these bios after they matched, and certainly not before... it's an extra step on Tinder to read a bio and they just don't care. She wrote a whole paragraph insisting she doesn't want a step dad and how she encountered men who just wanted sex from her and that was unpleasant But even if you believe all that and you're not put off by her nightlife, 420, and tattoo tags either, she still started off your very first encounter by taking her frustrations out on you, so not exactly relationship material

Why do they hate punctuation so much? The profile is just bad grammar, complaining about other users she chose to swipe right on, and being defensive about her kid. If you swipe right on her, you can solely do it based on her looks because there's simply no other incentive presented here, meaning all her new matches will also just want sex Some guys are interested in single moms for serious relationships but this is not how you make them swipe right on you. True. Gender ratio 9 : 1 in some countries, best case I've seen was 7 : 3, and of course that has consequences. Even with the best strategy, your element of chance is greater, your odds are worse

She wouldn't mention them if she had not had some kind of run in, right? In online dating I find that you have so much agency. Just don't swipe right. Just don't meet if you didn't really hit it off chatting etc. You make beginner's mistakes but then you learn and get the good matches and dates. Why hold on to past bad experiences unless you're immature and have learned nothing? People don't realize the massive red flag they're waving around when they complain about other users on a dating platf…

I found my guy on Tinder and never hooked up in my life. I think because it is so well-known, all sorts of people flock to it. Non-serious daters are definitely the vast majority, and if you can't immediately identify and swipe left on them, you will have a really bad time looking for a relationship Basically you put on a nice documentary or movie, and then you plow through the endless stack of profiles using the two finger technique: next picture, X button, next picture, X button, .... If you k…

Why don't just swipe right on the guys which sizes you like? This way you don't put off the guy you'd happily make an exception for. That's what would be reasonable Profiles like hers just come off controlling and borderline abusive with all this "Be this! Don't be that!" I'd totally expect to nagged AND negged to death by someone with a list like this
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen04/09/21 09:04 AM

Yeah most of the list is just negativity without a cause. What, you're not looking to start a family with a drug addict, or someone who's in love with somebody else? Thank God you pointed that out She could cut two thirds of what she wrote but at least now every discerning person knows about her awful personality / lack of maturity. This is like the blind date scene in the movie "Her". They have a great time, lots of chemistry, and are passionately making out by the end of the night. They both want sex at that point. But then she suddenly realizes "I've been here before". All her past pump & dumps flash before her eyes. She wants commitment according to fast-paced tight schedule, as soon as possible. Never once received a dick pick. It seems to be perfectly avoidable, no matter what alarmist feminist journos tell you about big bad dick pic eye rape culture My secret is not to interact with random(!) dudes online / not enabling them to send one. Some women really want the dick pics, but if you don't, you can shield yourself from that and still meet men online, since a majority of men are actually just as uncomfortable showing their genitals off to random strangers, as most women are getting d…

This phenomenon seems like an addiction to me. They get that high from being with a guy that's movie-perfect. That feeling of "I made it in life". Doesn't matter if they're even compatible, just matters what it felt like at some point. They also posted this on FDS. Apparently it's legit. Btw FDS puts the blame on both parties here. Their thing is "most men are horrible but so are we if we put up with it, cut the doormat shit and level up queen". As a consequence, they sometimes get banned from other subreddits for victim-blaming You know I occasionally see some faint common ground between this subreddit and FDS, and it's kinda wholesome Two enemy camps rallying behind a single idea

As a somewhat neutral observer, I wanna point out that FDS is actually overwhelmingly opposed to casual sex. Having any form of casual sex is much maligned "pick-me-isha" behaviour, because they see sex as "the riskiest thing a woman can do with a man" (not entirely wrong there) Members are not supposed to hookup on the side during the recommended sexless 3 months, but rather masturbate, focus on "leveling up", spending time with the cats etc. From what I can see, these ladies seem very successf…

The alphas only thing is a big deal (breaker). It's a strong statement But I'd also swipe left just because of my iron "no negativity" rule. She's not thirst trapping but still ends up with just the fuckboys, then tells all the other fuckboys how easily she's getting played. It's a 21st century tragedy Overall I think it's such a negative profile. Why would you give her a shot when there's other bios which do not contain any negativity at all? Tinder is at the end of the day pretty competitive. For everyone

Someone told her she's boring because she didn't wanna go. Or more likely, she thinks if she had gone, a hookup could have become a relationship rather than just a hookup with sprinkles on it In any case she's defensive about it now. Ties in with the rest of the bio (Edit: I guess it could also be financial, but relationships are not a game for rich people, and it's weird to get defensive about not being a high baller traveling the world on your dating profile)

I think it's always a red flag when people talk about specific scenarios of what the desired partner or relationship should be like, rather than just presenting themselves, their personality, interests, and values. Only the most delusional ones would think that right? What's probably more common is delusion about the quality of the male attention a young woman may get. I say "may" because plenty of women never got that much male attention to begin with. The drop is only really brutal for a specific subset of women as far as I can see. Those who made it part of their lifestyle and identity, and then it changes and their ego takes a big hit

1/3 of married couples is same age +/- 1 year. That's the biggest bracket The second biggest bracket of nearly 20% has the men older by only 2-3 years, and then it peters off quite dramatically the higher the gap gets 13% 4-5 years 11% 6-9 years 5% 10-14 years 1,6% 15-19 years 1% 20+ years So there's a tendency there for sure but the gap isn't all that big in the majority of cases

How can you break up with someone you supposedly love and who's loving you and it's all going well? That's a lot of words for "I did not love him, I secretly resented him more and more" I think this is what really happened: After devaluing him for years, she's now back to glorifying him. If he let her back in, the cycle would just go on and on like that

Women on the platform had a much stronger same age preference. But how was it counted? By number of messages sent from one age group to another. I'm really close friends with both sides of these couples I was describing, and I think these "qualitative case studies" are more than outliers in some big statistic Strikingly, these men don't feel like there was any youth that was given away, because they actually want a partner the same age and weren't ready when they were younger either. Can relate, I've also been on a quest for the complete picture, so I just snoop around everywhere, then make up my own mind. You will eventually find one sub through another (lots of cross-hate-reading going on). Just don't try to solve it all at once haha There's lots of nuances and relative truths

I found her channel and watched the entirety of the video. This was 2 years ago and she is actually doing YouTube "as a job", sitting at 270k+ subscribers currently...Turns out she got shit from all sides for this one, because she blames everyone but herself for her terrible dating experience Funnily enough she also advocates for normalising "settling" in the video. People shoot too much for novelty and perfection and should settle for her, the apps ruined everything blabla I don't have much hop…

She sounds very immature and also depressed. It's not normal to be "consumed" by other people just existing in your line of sight, and what the hell do you need all this attention for in the first place haha At 34 I'm actually happy to get less and less attention because holy shit I got so much, just walking down the street. Now everything is more relaxed, it's nice

I don't reach this number lifetime either. For a single dating cycle 25 is just crazy high. Probably she swipes right on hot and then meets too many people so she cannot build a meaningful connection with a single one. Nobody wants to feel like they're on a conveyer belt

I think she had an ex or "romantic option" who was close to his mom and it really bothered her, deeply, most likely because she has a lot of rules that put herself at the centre of everything ("a man is supposed to do XYZ for his wife", including put her above everyone else) I would not mind if I had a partner who called his mom daily. Parents are not around forever and I can just do something else with myself - or join. Have a lovely video call together It just kinda reeks of the absence of lov…

Basically she mentioned her ex in the first line, how romantic lol Just that one line tells you she has baggage, is judgemental and petty, holds grudges.... Yes, you will definitely be nagged all day long

As a female Tinder user I'll report that men do ask that right on their profiles, just worded slightly differently There's an overarching unisex phenomenon of online daters having bad interactions and then trying to wrestle back control by writing a whiny negative profile rather than figuring out how they are the problem all along by a) Not offering anything the "good" users would want b) Not recognizing "good" / horny swiping bots or hook-up only users etc. But imho "where are all the good men"…

She likes being a stay at home mother and begrudges they grow up because she's all about controlling other people, hence her list of demands and shitty attitude. Being a mom allows people like her to boss others around all day and feel important about it. Love how it's engrained in her face too. That's a mean look! My conservative redpilled sister is like that (ideology really doesn't mean shit boys). Look at her profile pictures and you can actually see how she's constantly annoyed by anyone ju…

The reason why she goes on these other dates after 5-7 dates that actually went well is because she has a very low unstable self-esteem and needs CONSTANT validation. I'm always playing Narcissist Bingo on this sub and she definitively checks some of these boxes Typically narcissists don't get better so you guys do well to learn these patterns and stay the fuck away from people like that.

Damn I dug into this now too and I guess the author is really living life to its fullest: Elizabeth Gilbert, 49, left husband Jose Nunes (Note: Javier Bardem's character) for best friend Rayya Elias Elias died from pancreatic cancer 15 months ago and Gilbert is now with British photographer Simon MacArthur, 60 The latter also seems to have been a friend of her last ex. I bet she has a couple of memoirs still in her lol

What killed me was how she wasn't "delighted" by 4-5 thoughtful quality gifts. He actually gave her the best of both worlds, practical and fun stuff, while she just delivered a single full miss with her gift to him Kinda reminds me of the movie Eat, Pray, Love. I could not understand what was wrong with her husband in the beginning and why she was so unhappy with him. He seemed great. Handsome, funny, dedicated, ambitious, absolutely in love with her...and she was like, "hmmm I guess I'll marry …

I had a similar impression, she looks like a drag queen. There's so much makeup you have no idea what's underneath all that. Wish I could see the other pictures but they're probably the same

Lol, they're so miserable, in a constant conflict with an entire gender, and then bringing that as baggage to every dating interaction they have as well Just talk to people you like and have a good time getting to know each other. Why do you wanna get paid for something you choose to do in your free time? I love walk and coffee dates because I rather save money towards other things that matter more to me than a fancy dinner that's eaten once and then shat out. This has absolutely nothing to do w…

Actually lots of straight women are looking for platonic (female) friends on Tinder, sometimes exclusively. She put her sexual orientation in there, so I'd bet she's in that category too

They're such a funny little cult lol The 50/50 bullshit (i.e. how unacceptable it supposedly is to split) is hilarious. No I don't have to looksmax like a crazy person to be conventionally attractive. Most of the things that make you look good are actually 100% free or save you money And how they flip out on dates in the park. It's a pandemic, you geniuses. Pack some snacks and enjoy yourself

The success stories on FDS are 1) bitter breakups 2) bitter "I blocked and deleted him before he could use me, hurray" 3) gushing over the rare high value husband with some kind of "never settle until you find someone exactly like that" message 4) "I bought myself a ring, take that patriarchy" Did I miss something?

Pictures: showing off their body showing off status symbols or wealthy lifestyle bedroom/bathroom/elevator pics few / lazy pics, or professional / high quality pics but they are also generic and manufactured not smiling or laughing but trying to look extra manly and serious in every pic vibes are superficial, one-dimensional, distanced (except sexually of course) high level of conventional attractiveness > individual male beauty The bedroom selfie is always funny to see ("this is what you gonna …

Humans are so terrible at dealing with information contradictory to the beliefs they already hold dear and near haha Anyway it's always best to fully grasp what's your own share of the responsibility pie in any situation. I got annoyed at men asking me for casual sex for the shortest time then I found the pattern in their profiles, what they had in common, and never had an interaction like that again I'm in Germany but I think Tinder is just as popular in the UK, you'll find plenty of relationsh…

Thing is there's plenty of different users on Tinder. You don't have to interact with the hookup crew at all. It's a complete non-issue unless you turn it into one yourself by swiping right on the wrong people, or actually only sending hookup signals yourself on your own bio (sexy pics, nothing else to offer, no apparent long-term interest etc) As a woman you have plenty of options and so much control on Tinder. Thus having a positive experience is completely in your own hand

Haha I feel like if I really wanted to comment a lot on Reddit, really participate, speak my mind, I'd have to make a hundred different accounts because there's all this hostility between "teams" and people check your history and swing the ban hammer etc What's that, "guilt by association"? Anyway don't worry about me, you guys run a tight ship here, your sub has a specific purpose, and I will not argue with you about that, or comment much at all in the future, just lemme observe from the sideli…

Oh yeah just get a face cream with SPF 30-50, apply it in the morning every day after washing your face but if I'm in the sun a lot during the day, I might apply additional sun screen generously (a lot of people use it too sparsely they say). Sun damage is real, and also comes with a bit of cancer risk over time

Idk, I've unlearned getting offended by that shit a long time ago. Thing is I don't have to share your opinions or anyone elses. I'm also reading FDS, and I don't agree with those ladies either In my opinion listening to a large range of differing opinions is a cool hobby to have. It's entertaining, and you can actually learn something if you really listen with both a sympathetic and critical ear. Freedom of speech ftw

Don't worry I'm almost 35 and she looks way older than me now. Just don't smoke, drink plenty of water, eat your veggies, use sunscreen daily, and exercise, all that basic shit, and you will be fine
