X10 is what marriage would be like with her. Disparity of sex drives increases with time - it's the biggest flaw with the institution, and really a shame in cases like this where she's a good woman.

There are gays who are solid men (Peter Thiel) and there are fags who are straight (Dave McClure). Don't be effeminate, don't be defensive, and for God's sake don't be crass. Do good work, be a good sport, and you'll be respected.

If you feel like your LTR isn't worth the opportunity cost, next her. It's hard to find a relationship that justifies giving up other prospects, but that doesn't mean it can't happen. An LTR is a compromise rarely worth making, but don't rule it out - it's possible to find a girl who brings more to the table.

Move past the idea that you have to get yourself to some level before you can get laid. If you start approaching, asking for numbers, asking girls out, kissing them and escalating, you will start to get laid, regardless of where you are in your envisioned path to alphadom. As in everything, process over goals. And you're just plain wrong about life after 30 or even 40.

I've lived in both places - the east is based, but dumber and less honest.

Sounds like you doing the right things but have had a spell of bad luck. You'll surpass the others in a few years if you keep working on yourself, and will feel silly for comparing yourself to them. Abandon such comparisons - they are only bad for you. Measure yourself against yourself. And don't forget to do something you enjoy to relax, like a hobby or fun reading in addition to working out and important reading. Chin up!

Yep, they all just punch holes. More rounds, lighter recoil, and more frequent carry mean 9mm and even .380 trump the macho bores.

Glock 19 is a joy to shoot, but try a revolver too (.38 for starters) because it's very different. To get good takes a lot of ammo, and 22 is cheap.

I'm buddies with a guy in your situation (jacked, 31). He has had no shortage of play from 20-something girls. Key is that his friend circle is mostly single people and he's very organized so the kid isn't a burden. His son (6) is well disciplined and polite. BTW the ex is nuts so he has custody 95 percent of the time.

If OP had a good job and were building net worth early in life, living at home in one of the most expensive cities in the world might be a good choice. He's still getting laid after all. But yes, he needs a better job either way, so that is priority number one.

4 minute miles or sub-5 miles? Big difference - if you're running 4 minute miles forget bulking up and join a pro running group. If just sub-5, you're like me a year ago (but a lot skinnier) and can get strong fast. Use barbells. Starting Strength does job. Squat, press, bench press, clean, deadlift, and do chin-ups. That's it. No machines. Edit : If you want to prioritize strength over running, reduce your mileage. Speed work on the track can keep you fast. By the way at your height you could s…

I read all the replies, and some of them will result in no more pics. You want to reward her! This is not the time for any kind of negative feedback. She wants validation, to turn you on - let her know, teasingly, that she's on the right track. You can sleep inside now is perfect.

One in every 1100 licensed motorcyclists die each year in the US. There are 25x as many deaths per mile than for auto drivers. The reasons should be obvious: cars have mass, roll cages, crumble zones, ABS, seat belts, and airbags. Bikers are just bare human bodies zooming through an obstacle course. That said, bikes are thrilling, and girls do like them. I'm not saying don't do it, but don't kid yourself.

The differences are subtle - unless you're American or Canadian you would have trouble noticing. Also, the differences within each country are at least as great as the differences between the US and Canada. Having spent a lot of time in each and Europe, I'd chose a big coastal city in the US (for work) or Europe (for women). But whatever - there are lots of happy Canadians, and everyone's situation is unique. And Vancouver is a great city to live in.

Unfriend her. Who needs that nonsense? At least stand firm and don't confirm the request - yes, it's just Fb, but this stuff means more to women than most guys realize, so in her mind it was a major insult. Don't condone that sort of flakiness.

It's not rigged, but it's a zero-sum game with a very small number of winners. My advice is to focus on making money through earnings rather than the market. Trading consistently well is a near impossibility for 999/1000 people, and the winners are professionals. It's not something you can do with less than a full-time focus, and even then only a small fraction succeed. Just stack cash the old-fashioned way.

True. Good looking guys still need to approach and have game if they want the best girls, who generally won't open guys.

Not following the logic about her confidence issues. You've received good advice : Don't discuss or negotiate any time frame. Flirt with others. Escalate and keep pushing boundaries sexually (while agreeing verbally: "we should stop." "yes" hand goes down panties).

Not too hard if you don't get married. As for getting laid, game and the confidence of having your shit together with money in the bank will work better than fancy dinners and nice cars.

I'm with one of those rare genius chicks (elite college math major and self taught programmer), and have known others. Conversation is still less rewarding than with a guy of decent smarts. Hard to say why exactly, but it's something to do with irrationality and a weasley combativeness that makes everything personal. Now, if the chemistry is there, smarts are a plus, but they are not as valuable as in a guy friend.
/r/TheRedPill16/04/14 09:12 PM

Hold on, why did you ask her to move back in before the divorce?
/r/TheRedPill16/04/14 08:59 PM

Are you saying your ex wife still wants you and is now a plate? This seems ideal, but not impossible. I saw it with my parents. How would someone pull that off? Tell her you can't talk, then go silent until the divorce is done, and don't let her rape you I would guess. The less she gets, the more respect she'll have when it's over.
/r/TheRedPill16/04/14 02:44 PM

Connect with her? We're not talking about a guy friend. Do you really find conversation with women, even intelligent ones, to be rewarding? Attraction or chemistry creates its own powerful connection.

She's no great actress. Her nature was obvious to me and some others, but none of us felt it was our place to say anything to him (we were also too polite to say anything overtly behind his back). I'm not a close friend, so wasn't my place, and maybe others saw that he was happy and that it wasn't worth risking the friendship over. The greater point is that had he developed even a little in the RP department, he never would have entered such a relationship.
/r/TheRedPill15/04/14 06:04 PM

Not so sure about that. There are lots of impressive guys out there in soul-crushing LTRs, and plenty of lazy guys with good wives or enviable stables of plates. I attended a huge and glitzy wedding last year. The guy is smart, honest, healthy and very successful in a high-status field. He's sociable and respected by good male friends. However, he has always been a romantic and put the pussy on a pedestal (fancy dinners, flowers, gifts from the start). And what do you know? The bride is spoiled,…

Ye, simply going for walks everyday is a low-pressure way to help the mind and body. Exchange pleasantries with anyone who makes eye contact and seems open. Even saying "good morning" to old ladies and dog walkers will help lift your mood. This is the base upon which you'll build.

Ok, where are the long-term bachelors who can confirm that spinning plates forever is unfulfilling? Somehow I have my doubts. I'm talking about guys who have their shit together and never stop improving themselves and approaching and laying women. I'd say the risk of letting yourself down is greater in a LTR since there is less pressure to be your best.

Yep, I do the same thing on my phone as soon as I part with someone I've met. Guy's names too. Oh, and don't be shy about asking a girl's name a second time - if she gives me shit (which is fun), I don't apologize but say something like: "It didn't make it into long-term memory." This might hint that you meet a lot of girls and that you're not thinking long-term with her (which is of course what you want to convey).

Good job! Next time try it without drinking so much (no more than 1 per hour except the 1st hour or 5 per day). You'll be in even better control of the social situation and will feel more when you get down to business. Not to mention heavy drinking is harsh on the body.

Absolutely true, and some women will admit this. It's the non-zero-sum vs. zero-sum nature of relationships. In general, men cooperate and women compete.
/r/TheRedPill12/04/14 07:40 PM

Haha, good luck with that. It is up to you to be more valuable than the status crap. You need to make yourself the status symbol, and that is mostly not about money (money is just a by-product in many cases). Once that is done, the nagging may abate. If not, then fuck her.

What works? Applied RP, foremost to myself (inner game, personal development, male relationships, etc), then applied dread game from a position of true strength and enhanced SMV. EDIT: I also started making approaches to build confidence and have fun with women while out on my own, and will chat up women when with my wife so that she sees my value.

Spending years in the gym, wearing elevator shoes and having sick style will do more for my ability to get women than any "mindset" ever could. Nope. Maybe do those things (everyone should work out and dress well), but any gains there will be dwarfed by the difference made by developing game. The problem for me is, I don't want to fuck any of these women. I look at them for what they really are and I want nothing to do with them. This is a great place to start, seeing them for the silly creatures they are. But admit it, you do want to fuck a few of them, more than a few. As an older guy who did not sarge when I was young, this has been my greatest regret and actually has harmed my marriage and position in life. Yes, and they are not so great at figuring out what a man can provide based on the cues that men use to size each other up. They need shortcuts. Also, they use expenditures to judge men's susceptibility to supplication.

It's culture and genetics, and goes back centuries. Earlier travellers also observed this flashiness and general short-term attitude in eastern Europe. It's part of why it has been poor and backwards. BTW I have lived in two very different countries there, and both were like this. Most of the world is like this though. Northwest Europe is the opposite.

Very true. My wife had learned to expect me to do her little favors around the house: make her breakfast, sew a button (she's willfully useless at household tasks). She would pout and get sour if I refused, and these were little things, so I would just do them. Just like answering her "where are you, when will be back" texts right away. But after TRP I realized these things were costing me her respect. At first she called me mean and asked why I had become so cold, but then came the respect and …

Reminds me of a story about a little English kid who moved to the states - his new school told the family that he was underweight, since nobody there knew what an 8-year-old looks like who hasn't been overfed crap his whole life.

Their reputations are sustained by money. They screen for very high achievers, then guilt trip them before and after graduation so that they "give back." These places have big bureaucracies staffed by ordinary functionaries who can wield power over students - not everyone is a genius, but most everyone is infected by PC dogma.

There are lots of flabby and chubby chicks, as in 10-30lb overweight, and a few fatties. But you are right - at the top there isn't much actual obesity like you see in flyover country. What we see here is the dogma-driven arrogance of an empowered university bureaucracy. The nutritionist on this case is probably some dumb and fat American chick who has no idea what Asians look like in their home countries. 92 is entirely normal for a 5'2" girl there - they have very little muscle mass and eat we…

Can confirm: they are hard to handle. Very smart women also have fewer kids. They are likely to expect a marriage of equals, where decisions are made jointly. This kills respect and sex. The Underwoods on House of Cards are illustrative: their power marriage is childless and sexless but works because he is both uber-alpha and gay.

Yep, just say that getting more confident with women is part of becoming a better man, and that both sides have a better time when the man knows what he's doing. Own any misogyny that comes across, and it won't be an issue. Whatever you do, don't debate but deflect if it might go there.

"See a movie, go to town, anything really" Yes, OP needs to get specific with concrete invites. He should be the one with the schedule and the ideas, so that girls have to work to accommodate him. Of course, once this tone is set he can be flexible if logistics require, but letting the girl suggest a time and activity is weak. If it were me, I'd just say, "You coming home this weekend? Good.
