In the most respectful way do I say this, please for your own sanity stay away from those kind of subs and people. Its certainly not a reflection of the real world. I'm 40, happily married with kids and still get hit on....its more of an annoyance now really I did think it would stop when I became a mother, and then thought it would stop at 35, then at 40 lol

As another poster said 18 is a very young age. At 18 I would have been freaked out by domination in the bedroom, it was something that me and my now husband slowly and gently explored over a number of years from when we were around 21. He wanted to dominate me though, but it's the same difference in terms of non vanilla sex. No means no, men who genuinely have this domination kink are instantly turned off by an unconsenting or unenthusiastic partner. If he isnt turned off by it, that's a concern…

I lean into it, one incel said I should be glad I have holes I replied that so am I we love sex the different options are great fun! Then he called me an old prize, which cracked us up so much my husband still jokingly refers to me as his old prize from time to time. They're cowardly losers, and lash out their feeling of injustice instead of trying to deal with that the problem is them, not 100% of the female population and 80% of the mentally healthy men out there.

I would definitely follow your husband on which car you get, my husband is well into his old cars so I get it, but he would never ever drive one or let me drive one that is at all unsafe. And with respect this is your first car your husband is concerned for your safety and seems to have more experience of this than you at present. As to the personalised registration plate, I would say youd prefer to have one of your own design if it has to be a personalised one. Otherwise in my view it isnt real…

This! I'm late 30's but both me and husband found that our unmarried /single friends are the ones who didnt take dating seriously in their early 20's. Not saying this is world wide but certainly the case for our extended friend groups. In addition because we built our lives together, theres been no worries or concerns about "I've got they've got" prenups etc.

As I suspected - he has feelings for you, and most likely thought to make you jealous by being so vocal about his girlfriend, then hes panicked and tried berating you for not being interested in him, now hes making comments like the photo's which are unwanted.

He's not your friend and he is definitely not a nice or good guy. He's jealous, possessive and controlling. He has absolutely zero right to shame you for having a very usual and standard life. Then the gas lighting! This shows he knows precisely how weird he knows his behaviour is. Please do cut him off, friends aren't meant to cause you distress or alarm.

Your husband isn't at all the type of masculine and confident, caring, sane men we tend to have on here. Your husband is being infantile, abusive and grossly cavalier of your health. My husband and I are in a Christian DD marriage, there is no scenario in the world that would ever cause him to forbid me from seeing a Male doctor. A husbands role is to protect and lead, not to abuse his wife. EDIT to say I've just asked my husband his opinion he said and I quote "He needs to grow the f*ck up"

Ah I see, it may be worth seeing how much you can take off by extending it as a sort of trial run.

I'm sure you've seen my two pence but is taking extended maternity an opinion on your country? In the UK most women take 9 - 12 months off and make a decision around then whether they wish to return to work or not?

Hi there, I'm in a similar position atm, I own my own company and have been very successful. Throughout this year though with having 2 young children, it's become more difficult for me to maintain my hours and work pressure. This year my husband brought up with me whether I'd like to stay at home instead - I said I'd think seriously about it, ultimately agreeing with him that I'd really like that Since then to ease me into it I've been gradually reducing my workload and clients, at this moment i…

I honestly think jealously is at play here. As others have said dont give her the audience to her soap box

As others have said. Don't pay any attention at all to the manosphere or the majority of guys in reddit. I'm married with 2 children and regularly get hit on by men.

When we first married my husband spend 18 months looking for work, we were poor lol I brought in enough to cover rent and most basics, often we had to choose who ate dinner that night. He walked to his PT job every day with holes in his shoes. He was applying constantly. Anywhere. I supported him by giving him lots of physical contact, greeting him as soon as he got home, cooking for him, putting a positive spin on every job application that he didnt get "Oh my darling - well it mustn't have bee…

I agree, it's very harmful behaviour- there aren't any winners. My husband definitely wasnt a simp - far from it. He's my hero. I'm was submissive in our dating life and more so in our marriage. He has always shown protective masculine traits, he leads me and we're both happy that way. Best of luck anyway in your path of discovery.

I'm going to say this from my perspective as gently as I can. Before I was married I had a Simp friend who went out of his way to be accommodating , insisted on paying for everything and would never disagree with me on anything. He hit the roof when I got with someone (my now husband) and became incredibly vindictive. I had no idea that he harboured feelings for me, and genuinely thought he was just being thoughtful and a caring friend. In my view his reaction when I got with my husband was actu…

It's a bit different for me that it has been for you. I was always very maternal but I was on the bus at 16 going home from college and realised that I wanted to be a mother. I met my husband at 21 and we were married a few year later. I've just turned 40 we've got two beautiful children ❤

I'm so glad that you've realised that you are enough and are perfect the way you were made. Well done friend. I don't know of any such subs unfortunately, but perhaps you could start one yourself if you don't find any? Wishing you a lot of joy and above all peace on your journey rediscovering and embracing your femininity.

Feeling such the minority here! I don't do any masculine jobs, (unless pumping up my car tyres counts) my husband has taught me how to do vital jobs in case I ever do need to do them and I've done the same with feminine ones. Very traditional household over here!

Hi fellow Christian wife :) I've been working on my submission for years with my husbands gentle help. I've found that submission is in many forms each day. I first worked on submitting to the "big showy things" such as backing down during arguments or taking a step back to say "this is where our marriage vows come in, you choose what we do" when we couldn't agree. With arguments I made myself stop raising ny voice at him, it's rather hard to argue with someone when you're keeping a gentle voice…

I'm a subtle flirt. He catches me looking at him with a little smile, or I touch his shoulder with the flat of my hand tilting my head to one side looking up at him smiling. If he says "what?" I say "nothing, youre just so handsome".

Hi OP, I absolutely understand. I felt exactly the same as you at 22, and have never been able to speak openly to my friends about what my marriage is and how fulfilling it is for fear of being looked down on by those who matter to me. My husband and I both had an idea of what we wanted prior to marriage but weren't excellent at expressing it. We both had mothers who belittled their husbands and spent all of their money before each getting a divorce. I knew I doubly didn't want to be a vicious w…

Oh I hear you! My husband has been feeling guilty for years about having his own time.(I think it comes from us scraping by in our first few years together) I don’t really have that much time away from the dm either (once or twice a month i get a few hours if I’m really lucky) but he has even less than me. I always thought he was just dreadful at organising his social life (he’s not great at that either tbh) but over the last two years I’ve been really building him up and pushing him to take reg…
