I got on to say exactly this. My first guess is she's on the rebound and friend probably did stupid white-knight move of asking something like "You sure you wanna go in? I know Mystery claims to specialize in hired guns which includes strippers. I think he even teaches workshops to target hired guns? This. I am also in a LTR ... and the PUA stuff I'm learning has only improved the quality of my LTR. The main advice I can give is do this self improvement independent of your SO. Don't try to "work magic" on her. You won't be able to internalize the concepts around her. Practice at work. Practice with friends. Practice out on the town or at your favorite bar. Once you start holding your head up higher, dressing better, and feeling more confident ... that's when the SO will notice.

Seriously dude ... were you born a dick or did you work at it? The TLDR version is "Had serious AA, got over it via peacocking." Since when isn't that a valid FR? Impossible to say what her thought was. I'd go with a playfully cocky message as a response.
