Often times stories about one-off negative behavior by women are posted as counter examples to myths promoted by the feminist world view, e.g. "men are violent, women are civilized"..."news story about woman murdering her children".

He's using "progressive" as it functions in the vernacular. You're doing exactly what feminists do when they point to some academic definition of feminism as "the belief in gender equality", that does not reflect the actual nature of the popular movement called "feminism", and tell you "So, if you believe in gender equality then you are a feminist". The MRM may be "progressive" under some academic definition of "progressive", but the actual popular movement we call "progressivism" in American cu…

It is a fact that left-leaning media organizations cater to and actively promote the hysterical feminist perspective, and the modern feminist movement is largely the product of an academic culture that is overwhelmingly left-dominated. Sounds like the problem here is that you're having difficulty facing what "the left" actually constitutes in culture at large.

This has gotten a ton of upvotes before on certain subs but it's always deleted by mods as soon as it gets popular. Seems like a good portion of Reddit admins and mods of major subs are brainwashed feminists.

univalent I've seen this word used as an antonym for "ambivalent" in academic contexts. There may also be some technical usage in psychology, or just in this person's department (theses are written to appeal to department panels).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
