to say to a men 'stop perceiving women as sexual objects' is like to say to a women 'stop perceiving men as your providers'. It can't be done, it's in our nature. That's how it works. This is an assertion. It doesn't resonate much with me really, I think I am from another culture than you. In Scandinavia men have mostly lost their role as providers, which have had its own problems of existential angst as the traditional gender roles became obsolete, but attempting to "provide" for a woman is reg…

Why should this be impossible/implausible? I'm not really a fan of the separation of people in alpha and beta. In all my interactions I like to maintain a state of mutual respect, where neither party is trying to assert dominance. Not asserting dominance is not the same as being submissive. If people are trying hard to be alpha it tends to hint at an underlying insecurity. The insecurity is the real problem, not maintaining a charade of alpha-ness.

"What is love" is a tough one :) Rather than give my own take, I'll crosslink you to another perspective on relationships that I just read and found quite interesting. Link About care and support, true, you can care and support for yourself (hopefully), but that doesn't mean it isn't nicer to mutually support and care for someone else also. I've been single for a long time, and for the most part I do quite fine, but if I fall ill and hardly can get out of bed then I do miss some practical help. …

Love, care, affection, passion, support. These are not "woman" things necessarily, but on the overall women do not grow up in a world where these things are more or less taboo. As men we are taught to be stoic and self-reliant. These are good qualities, but if we depend solely on these we will become lonely and frustrated. More important than sex and cooking, a good woman can help build you up emotionally. If you find someone and you mutually learn to genuinely care about and strive for each oth…

In fact, ignore everything that you don't already understand and/or agree with.

As an MGTOW-outsider, reading that link was interesting but also made me very sad. For me the foundation is financial independence (thus not being dependable on living with any other human- woman or man) [...] but I doubt anything called ‘love’ or ‘falling in love’ can occur in me at this point. I really feel bad for this guy. Life must have hurt him deeply, and I guess he blamed it on women. Nevertheless, if you want my advice, check out celibacy. I've been more or less celibate for a while now…

but I believe this video is more evidently coached Why? Smells like confirmation bias at play. But true, a "slap him" experiment would be interesting. India is a different culture, perhaps violence is to a higher extent taboo in general.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
