You say you have a fear of living, but you have no skin. The reason the gym helped you is that it pushes you into areas you'd never otherwise be. I'd suggest confiding in good friends to go out together, as well as restarting your lifestyle properly. You'll feel confident enough to put yourself out there.

It'll work. Granted, you'll both be aware it's because of the fight, so you have to own your emotions. If you're angry, be that in private, but make sure you return as if nothing happened.

Pressuring somebody into such a lifetime commitment is an easy way to get them to say no.

They're aight. As a black person we've a lot of sociocultural common ground with foreign cultures (RP ideology, traditionalism via nurturing, etc.) It's just that a lot of us happen to be deadbeat human beings, especially those who negatively contribute to the culture as well as those who invoke our people as the 'victim class' of society, oppressed by white people on a quasi-permanent basis. It's so pathetic (and I dumped my first gf because she completely believed that) but it's one of the big…

Think about why it is you become the person you want when you drink. Alcohol neurologically makes you stupider (retardation of sensory neurons in the brain, which is why you feel such an overwhelming 'sensation' when drunk. You can't comprehend everything). But a flipside to this is irrational confidence. In this alcoholic sedation, you unlock confidence because you can't calibrate risk assessments as effectively as you do when sober - that's why you're capable of doing stupid things as well. Th…

Why do you think we tend to suppress what we truly feel? Fear of the unknown. How many times have you held off on making a joke thinking that nobody could find it funny? That's analogous to speaking out today. We fear the unknown consequence. There's a lot of reasons as to why it happens, but my interpretation is a skewed projection towards what we don't understand. The world is overwhelming beyond recourse, but projecting our interpretations into the darkness is how we begin to cope with what w…

I learnt to speak the truth at all times. What was even funnier is that I became so much better mentally because I didn't have to keep anything PC for the sake of it, nor was I ever resentful about anything that I "could have said". I made my voice be known. This doesn't mean spouting every Red Pill truth that can contextually fit into a sentence. This is bad, and it was my first mistake. It just makes you come off as weird and one that's trying too hard. Another one that people uncommonly say i…

I've been in the relationship you're describing. I even posted a question almost half a year ago about the best way to maintain such. Guess what? I applied all of the possible techniques and it didn't work out. She was very neurotic, self-righteous, increasingly prudish (which comes as no conclusive surprise in a declining love affair) and overwhelmed with a fixed mentality of failure and ineptitude. It made her ugly inside, and I became angrier and uglier because of it. The trick I've learnt re…

They're not lacking in logic and reason. There's often an emotional extravagance in a lot of their thinking. In my personal opinion, that's neither good or bad. But, there's positive and negative manifestations of this energy. Something positive would be anything that's wholesome and great to be around, you and herself included. Anything negative is everything that one crazy, reprehensible and malicious ex-girlfriend was towards you.

Your frame of mind is your subconscious perception of your husband. While I trust that he's a very competent and romantic man (I have no reason to think otherwise as you're a very wholesome lady) it's vastly easier to fall out of love than it is to maintain it - we both know this. That's why you're both the best version of yourselves at all times within the marriage Ergo, your subconscious directs your conscious behaviour. If you've so many positive ideas about somebody like him, your submissive…

This post was exactly what I needed right now. I'm in the middle of a three year Economics course (with a voluntary 1-year work opportunity, which I will be taking) and it's hard to strike a balance. Of course, I could half-ass my work and hope for the best, saving myself for impulsive pleasures, but that'd be too easy. Instead I run myself ragged trying to be perfect, and I've come a long way from being at the bottom of the hierarchy. I often run into pitfalls just trying to maintain everything…

Keep on leading by example, counterintuitive as it may sound. Although me and my girlfriend are in a different stage of life to you two, we would both suggest you be as direct as possible about the debt coming first. You found a ticket a tenth of the price of his own, suggesting to us that you've more financial intuition than he does. Until he develops it, I think it's wise for you to posit the suggestion of you having the last say on finances.

Genealogy of Morals by Frederic Nietzsche. It'll tell you what you are and are not to become if you want to be 'the man', roughly speaking. His perspective on morality will straighten you out to be a better person, giving you frame by default.

Would he have done the same if her boyfriend was Brad Pitt? Dan Blizerian? He wouldn't be desirable outside of his wealth if he was a 'beta boyfriend'. You're not even getting in touching distance of someone like Victoria Beckham no matter how well equipped you are.

Not a frequenter in RPW, but it happens concerning places like /r/asktrp. I'm interested in perusing the discussions women have amongst themselves here, but it just seems like vapid nonsense to outsiders. My girlfriend's relatively Red-Pilled, but I often check this sub out for a woman's perspective on what they want from their man. There's a lot of preferences, but a few fundamentals remain the same which help me improve everyday.

What? No offense, but that's the complete opposite of what I'd recommend to someone whose serious about becoming strong. Athlean has next to no anecdotal information, and he replaced the useless clutter fitness YouTubers have going with information that's beneficial, reliable and 100% evidence-based. If you're intelligent, you could get more out of knowing the different exercises that stress the three main sections of the deltoid, for example, which is why people hold him in high regard.

Any women that make love a task are women not worth your time. Become your best patriarch, and the feminine shall follow. Improve your calibre of life and everything shall follow. When you're developing habits, you need to broaden your framework and plan extensively for the future so you gain ample time to think about what to do next. I meal prep for the next week rather than the next day. I have a gym routine for the next 6 months rather than the next two hours. If you challenge yourself with long+short term goals and habits you'll be a more well-rounded person.

I never took you for a liar. I don't know what you look like, let alone how strong you actually are, so I can't recommend anything other than a full body workout. I might as well explain it to you. If you want to put on mass and strength quickly, fullbody workouts are an efficient way to do it. You train multiple body part with a few exercises, such as benchers, deadlift and squats every session, which is brilliant because it means you can do it as much as every two days. for example, you go tod…

I think a great man with depth is a synthesis of all three examples you posited. Lead the relationship (#1) by your own example (#2). If you give them a framework to follow, you give her the 'choice' to follow you or not. Ideally you will show you are a succinct proverbial 'Captain', and she will have a desire to become your first mate. Being driven by your own goals and objectives detach your head from overcompensating in the relationship (#3). You feel less of an urge to "prove" yourself to he…

While I find your input valuable, I think you, and TRP as a community rely too much on the false dichotomy of 'alpha fux - beta bux' to critically analyse social dynamics. Following the Occam's Razor principle just as a basic example, it's literally easier to assume that women do not think as a monolith. They're not all manipulative, soulless cheaters with no regard for men in terms of relationships. All women are in fact, not like that. To scorn women and convince yourself into believing it's a…

You're thinking about alpha and beta as a binary rather than indicative of traits. Every person known to mankind has a mix of alpha and beta qualities. I wouldn't quantify selfishness as alpha in the context that you've just explained to me. It comes off as negative.

I have two easy and practical solutions that would work (alongside 'lifting', brah): watch movies with a strong masculine lead such as Casablanca, and take up a contact sport. Learning to fight will develop a necessary savage in you, and a man who can be civilised with a capability of aggression is truly attractive t…

Slow down. Read more books - and I don't mean the things TRP recommends to 'get stoic'. I mean real works of literature. Nietzsche and Dostoyevsky were the smoothest fuckers ever to grace the planet. You'd be doing yourself a disservice not to read them.

The problem with the Red Pill is that they submit entirely to one personality archetype of man, instead of more effectively integrating it. You can't be 'stoic' and 'alpha' 24/7. Your neurobiological mood and testosterone are constantly in flux, so it's literally impossible unless you're lying to yourself. The odds are, you're probably older than me, which means you have your personality biologically set out in your life. That will not change. If you're still serious, books I recommend are Machi…

You don't seem to be going anywhere with this girl. Just cut her off slowly while you look to do your own thing. Develop hobbies, confide in your closest social circle for company if you have any. Go to the club, anything to realise that there's more women in the world than her.
/r/askTRP03/09/17 12:53 PM
2

You can make that work for you. You're still handsome, so you're already better looking than most guys to come to TRP for help. If you want to score with the women, don't let this deficiency control your life. It's something you can't change, and pondering over things you can't change is insanity.
/r/askTRP03/09/17 12:50 PM

If you want to be 'mysterious', then tell the truth. Give your honest opinion on each and every discussion. All that PUA stuff is nonsense if you're in the same social cluster: you should learn on how to maintain influence over your friends with what you say and do. (Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People would help.) Since you're different from the rest of them and bask yourself in some TRP knowledge, it'll separate you from many men knowing you can speak your mind.

It's a necessity to survive. People are so inundated with privileges that they forget how much of a necessity the basics were. What I suggest is you strip yourself down and set a routine up of things you want to do. Wake up at the same time every morning. Go to bed before midnight. It's probably something you've liked since you were younger. The mind has a procilivity to attach itself to qualities of women that you seem most fondly of from childhood. My current LTR is somebody I think is unconventionally attractive, so to speak. She's not overtly hideous, but she has that black 'nerdy' vibe about her that I like. One I'm particularly fond of is Robert Moore's King, Warrior, Magician, Lover. You don't have to. Just make sure you're living a busy, meaningful life and the social accolade naturally comes to you.

No, it isn't. It's blatant disrespect.

Thank you, somebody who isn't a boorish moron who thinks and swears by TRP in its entirety. Use your common sense: she used said fantasy to disrespect you and you're willing to pass it off as some shit test. Are you an idiot?
/r/askTRP02/09/17 05:32 PM

Not really. That just sounds like plain disrespect. Why should you even entertain something pernicious like that?

Bear this in mind: "Men test ideas, women test men." Has she done this about anything else in the past? Are you enabling it? Does she seem playful/jubilant when she says it? Is, or has your height been a weak spot of yours? Do you escalate it into something more emphatic and intimate? It could be she's trying to "test" you for some weak spots. Women will keep poking and poking and poking until you finally concede an opening. Whether it's being irrational or melodramatic, most women can't curb th…

"Shorter than ideal"? She sounds like a bitch. Set her straight with something direct. "Yet I'm still taller than you, so how does that work out?"

You'd have to be a significant person to warrant such access. Hierarchies have become very complicated through history

Definitely agree with this here. When nuance is applied, Tesla's life is a strangely taut balance of RP/BP foreclosures. He never got married, but a big reason is that he followed his mission of finding electricity to the very end. He died a virgin, but lived to know what top-tier women were like. Nexting a celebrity of his time to focus on your work is some serious, serious dedication.

For those truly willing to take their sense of mortality and purpose to the highest level, Jordan Peterson recommends great books to read that he finds "terrifying", thought to strengthen your resolve as a human being and fulfill your purpose. The general principle in reading all of these is familiarising oneself with tragedy and evil, two malevolent and destructive forces. The difference, however, is that evil is a gravely worse manifestation than tragedy (things you cannot control), but evil i…

That's not necessarily true. Real always recognises real. If that was an extended dialogue in a more social setting and Brad was truly 'faking' it, the outcome would more than likely be different.

? I'm asking for a brief explanation, not the whole damn book. It doesn't help delegating me to read it in this discussion if you don't even outline what they say on manipulation. It sounds like an empty retort.

Definitely. I wouldn't have the answer any other way.

Could you break down what these books mention about manipulation?

I asked a similar question asking for advice on my own long-term relationship, and one answer stood out to me: lead by example, especially if she's very young. You're the proverbial captain to her first mate. Your masculine center should be the one to take the lead, making the executive decisions and delegate to her when need be. A baseline solution would be to keep upping your SMV, RMV and MMV regardless of your current situation. That means lifting to look and feel strong, hobbies and interest…

There's nuance in what you'd like to call manipulation, though. There's getting a woman to do what you want, and getting her to change her behavioural pattern to accommodate your relationship, which is what OP talks about. Those are both short and long term changes respectively, and it's often exhausting to have to "build" somebody up in your image. Who has the time for that? Dread game, abundance mentality and the like are useful, but not all women are suckers. If she truly had her shit togethe…

What do you mean by being 'sensitive to the advantages'?

I suppose you're right, but a lot of the things I've mentioned in light of her character are beneficial for me. It would make the most elite of men satisfied to know their woman has many incredible attributes. Why should it be different that I'm a younger guy? Also, you've predicated one point on the neurobiology of man - our "nature" to fuck plentiful women. You're right, but I'd rather try out being with one good woman while I have the chance rather than be a slave to my own urges for the rest…

You've seemed to have mentally invested a lot into this girl. Decide if what you're doing is the essential thing to do, call her out on her shit and just keep it moving. She's not worth your sanity, fella.

God that's some scumbag shit your wife pulled, I'm sorry to hear that. I've had another comment telling me to vet her into an ideal partner, but the two pieces of advice you've given me is quite essential in being the ideal man. I appreciate it, and I hope you bounce back from that woman.

That's insightful and helpful. She already has hobbies of her own that has beneficial returns for the both of us (she's into fitness, reading fiction+nonfiction, etc.) Thanks, man :)

I don't see it dissolving sometime soon, hence why I gave it the LTR label.

In the most effective sense, would it be leading by example?

She hasn't exhibited any deplorable behaviour in the time that I've known her. We dated for a while, and throughout the vetting process she had no red flags. We fucked around a bit, but afterwards, assessing the pros of having such admirable qualities against the con of the raw deal of a monogamous relationship, a relationship didn't seem like such a bad idea.

It's exaggerated, dude. Come on.
