Uk, I know I should tell you being a virgin is not being a loser and all, but I was in your shoes until a couple of months ago, and it was as relieving as it sounds to lose your virginity. I'm gonna tell you to ask yourself this the next time you see a pretty girl: are you more afraid of telling her she looks pretty or are you more afraid of being 24 and a virgin? Years pass by soon. And those nights are rough. Get some whisky in ya, some liquid courage, and shoot your shots when you get 'em. Th…

Depends on who you are and who she is. If you’re in college or if she’s in college, she’s gonna find it weird if you ask for her number. If you’re both outta college, ask her for her number. Simple as that

I see a lot of “say hi to her, tell her your name” in the comments. That’s good advice but for someone who’s adept in talking to woman, and no offense to you, but if you were too shy to say anything to her before, just telling her your name will not get you anywhere. You might fumble as to what to say next. She’s your coworker, right? Find something common to talk to her about, work related. Maybe you guys cross paths somehow. THEN after getting that common ground to talk about, introduce yourse…

I've noticed this a lot too when the same girls would do the same thing to me all the time. Just let it be. You don't owe anyone a reply, because I'm sure lots of people leave you on read too. That's just how it works. If someone gets mad about it, that either means they like your attention, or they need to grow up. In either case, just leave em on read.

I’ve thought about this a lot, and this is my conclusion: Race doesn’t matter if you’re attractive. Race matters a lot if you’re mediocre or unattractive. Let me explain that more. In the US, people are predominantly white. They grow up with white friends, they’re used to their opposite sex being white, usually. So when it comes to dating, they see more white people than anything else. Why do I say that? Because you’ll never find an 8 or a 9 white woman with a 5 or a 6 man of another race, but y…

Margot Robbie, if that face wasn’t good enough for ya, that Aussie accent will send you right to heaven…but also my crush who became a bartender at the club I go to every weekend for separate reasons.

You might think that, but I’d imagine everyone in my social circle would know what is going on and my life would be fucked if anything like that happened

Girl giving you her number isn’t always a green light. Sometimes they just give it to you because they don’t wanna make it awkward. Don’t get your hopes up until you’re actually talking to her. Ik it’s been a while since your post, so, how’d it go?

Sounds good to me. Straightforward. Just be confident when you say it and don’t stutter. Smile when you say hi. Make sure your breath smells good

I mean, it doesn’t have to be somewhere you have to go uk, maybe you find something else and share it with the world online, there’s lots of hobbyists on Reddit! But yeah, cash is always good lol

Well, I have a great passion for space. So, to me, it’s not. I can just go to a park at midnight and lay on the grass for hours all alone. Not depressing at all. But everyone is different. As far as events go, I’m in a college town and my university has an observatory. But if you’re not in a college town, maybe find camping spots near you?

Sure, watching stars can be a hobby! There’s only one reason I wanna be an astronaut today. And it’s that. You might even meet a lot of new people like this! There’s some astronomy events near where I live in July-December. I met a lot of people through that. Maybe there’s events like those near where you live too

Not dumb at all. Well, first you need some you time. So put aside work for an hour if you can, put your phone on DND. Now that you have time, finding a hobby is just trial and error! Try to sketch. If it makes you feel good, do more! Take some photos outside. If it interests you, keep doing it! Go to a clearing in your neighborhood and watch the stars at night. If you like it, keep doing it! There’s so many things :) Just trial and error

Yeah that’s a great idea! But I don’t think I’m knowledgeable enough about this yet. Lemme discover more things wrong with my personality and actually get it to be better. Because no one wants to hear from someone whose own life is in shambles

Then find something man, it’s your time. Learn a new skill, find a new hobby, improve yourself. Or just sit on the bench near your house at sunset and relax. There’s more to life than replying to people’s texts. I just started using Duolingo, that’s been pretty fun!

I met someone else here with the same problem! I’m glad I have something else to blame now, rather than “oh women just don’t want me ‘cause they want fuckboys”. This “they” mentality is just so toxic. Glad I’m getting over it :)

Well, this might seem awfully obvious from an outside perspective, but it wasn’t to me. I started noticing a pattern. I was worth less than everyone else in my head, subconsciously. For example, why do I choose to work 60-70 hours a week? Because what I do is fun, sure. But primarily because I think if I don’t do that much work, I’m a piece of shit and I don’t deserve anything. My self worth was dependent on how many hours I sleep a night, the lesser the better. Second, even though I love workin…

You know what’s funny? I’ve been doing a self confidence exercise lately, I make it sound cooler than it is. I realized I didn’t have a lot of self esteem or love (this was a surprise to me ‘cause I’m a narcissist). So I decided to put up some walls, give myself sometime to get to know myself, and in the meantime, I don’t want anything. I just want to live my own life for a while. I was reading your post and when you said you weren’t interested in her, there were two voices in my head at the sam…

Yeah I think we’re on the same wavelength haha. Hate it or love it, dating is a game and it always will be. We’re engineered that way. Those who know how to play the game win. Those who don’t, well they either try to learn or are wimps about it. But I don’t think that’s what op was tryna do. I think he was just highlighting the fact that this IS a game and sometimes you lose, sometimes you win. And I DO NOT mean relationships when I say dating. Relationships are NOT a game for sure lol. But what…

I see where you’re coming from and I appreciate it, but I’m not sure if it applies to dating. Biologically, women are meant to be fought for by men. Women are supposed to be more picky about their partners. They are supposed to look for the one who can give them the most attention. And how do you gain attention? Well we all know how. And damn right they should do that. Because biologically, they’re the ones carrying a frickin person inside of them. So I’m pretty sure a lot of this gender bias th…
