The man thing to do is be open and straightforward about what you want out of it. The boy thing would be to lead her on, allowing her to think you want a mono relationship. So which are you?

Fair point. That said, they could lie or bend the facts too. I'd rather see character in action. Like when I'm with my partner. How does she treat me? How does she treat other people like her friends and family? What are her goals and what does she value? These things change for all of us. You aren't with her from the past. You're with her now.

I don't really see the point of marriage but it's not a trap or anything like that. Marriages fail because people get comfortable and stop working at it. If you have a partner who is willing put the work in then you'll be fine. But it's a two way street. When I look at TRP, I get the sense these guys don't feel they should have to work at a relationship. They talk of women like they're subhuman and don't acknowledge their needs. I ask you to consider this - would you stay with someone who treate…

Yeah but I'm not the same person as the guy who made those decisions. Obviously, I'd tell her if she asked. But it's nothing life changing. It's just awkward and really serves no purpose. If you want to find flaws in your partner, then you will. No matter who you date. I just prefer not to go looking. If you don't know think you know who they really are without digging into the past then you need to reevaluate why you're with them.

Both sides are uneducated. Men generally don't know what women want in bed. It usually takes a lot of practice before we figure things out. And even then, lots of guys never get a clue. Second, women have different desires in bed. Some like it rough. Some can't handle it rough and need gentle lovemaking. Some girls want to ride your face. Some have hangups about letting anyone put their face on the pussy. It takes a more of an effort to get a woman off. You have to initiate foreplay, figure out …

You have a good point. But from a cost - benefit perspective it just leads to awkardness and jealousy for most people. It can change your perception of a person. I've done things I'm not proud of in past relationships. We all have. On the other hand, I suppose if your partner is really understanding then he/she'd be accepting of whatever you have done in the past. Or one would hope.

You're not dating the same person who dated those exes. People change over time.

People on this sub are the men who usually get rejected and then resent women instead of improving themselves. It's funny how insecure the guys here are.

There's a lot of average people out there. Just as many "low value" men who have the same qualities as this young lady you're so bothered by. You seem to claim you don't care about her; yet you need to express your emotions about her rejecting you online. I won't make assumptions about you, but are you completely secure in yourself? Because that's where you should start. When you get there you won't need to assign a "value" to other people.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
