2	Can we hear some postive MR stories, please? Those stories happen a million times every single day. I'm a nanny and take my kids to the park constantly, and in 5 years I've never looked at a guy on the playground as a pedophile or seen anyone else giving a guy trouble for that reason. 1	Two teen girls abduct, torture, and sexually assault autistic boy. Hardly any mention in the media. Imagine if the genders were reversed. I saw this over in /r/wtf and came to post that thread here because I was so shocked at the response. 0	Why are there not more feminists here? Did I say they were unimportant? No! I just don't believe you have to rewrite history to get the point across that there are problems today that stem from problems then. In all of the history courses I've taken, the readings have been about the condition of the lives of people at various points in time, in various parts of society. 2	Why are there not more feminists here? That's true, WWI was horrific and women weren't sent to the front lines. Nobody expected the massacre that came out of it. Factory standards were absolutely atrocious, regardless of who was working there. Some safety standard were implemented, but barely worth acknowledging as things were still really rough. 2	Why are there not more feminists here? I was hitting random and ended up here and have read a few pages - I'd call myself a feminist. I've run into MR people in other threads, and from that and the stuff I've seen in here, this is my best guess: The attitude here is very much anti women. It has been a very, very long time since feminism has been about the evil men, and most feminists now are looking to achieve equality, freedom, and higher representation in government. 0	For some feminists, voicing concern for male victims somehow equals to marginalizing female victims. True, I should have said "The men involved in this conflict". To be clear, I'm not subscribed to any feminist subs or anything, and I'm sure I could get them involved just like the mens group is involved now, and we could have a ridiculous upvote/downvote war but I have a feeling they'd ALSO be discussing the point I wasn't making and didn't say, so I'm not doing that. I hope men do get to have sole custody of their kids when they're the better parent. I think that falsely reporting rape is awful and that no guy should have to suffer through that.
