There’s an assumed risk in lending money. That’s why they charge higher interest for people with bad credit. With that said, sometimes it’s better financially to declare bankruptcy than pay down a high interest debt. I firmly believe people should pay their debts and bankruptcy should be more penalizing than it is now, but there we are.

I buy into it some. There are some things I’d consider toxic that are somewhat common in the male community.
