I guess that's fair then.. though your original comment was still incredibly ignorant.

I admit, /r/feminism's banning people / deleting comments that don't support feminism is ridiculous - and it makes them come-off as anti-freedom-of-speech. If they would leave the ignorant comments there, that would only demonstrate the ridiculousness of the anti-feminist posts. Those are the particular rules of the subreddit, but it's dumb to think that because those are the rules that some moderators set-up, feminists must be anti-freedom-of-speech. I am a feminist, and I don't think deleting …

Fair enough, but why did you get banned from /r/feminism?

The majority of feminists that I see right now are closed off, don't take any criticism, and concentrate mainly on women's issues. All I see on /r/MensRights are men's issues, but I don't criticze Men's Rights Activists for just focusing on a specific part of sexism. As for the "don't take criticism" thing, what kind of criticism are you talking about? I like the equality movement that sees everyone as humans and concentrates on everyone's rights. Agreed 100%. I spend most of my time and thought…

You should go check out /r/Feminism . I dare you to come-up with up-voted support for misandry on that subreddit. Even take a look at your dare being realized: Yup, I see tons of opposition there. On the other hand, I find strawman attacks of feminism lurking in every corner of this sub... And just like I realise a lot of MRAs are ignorant pricks who attack a strawman of feminism because they don't quite understand it, or only expose themselves to the bigoted 'feminists', I don't claim that Men'…

hmmm... some feminists are fucked-up, but look up a definition of feminism. It wants gender equality. You can't make a judgment of the whole movement based off of a video of the ignorant bigoted ones. Just because the ignorant ones are the loudest, that doesn't mean that they represent all of feminism. Feminism in its core is a good thing, and fights misandry as it does misogyny. Remember: feminism ≠ misandry.

Umm... this is what feminism wants. It belongs in /r/feminism as much as it belongs here. Feminism ≠ misandry, and any self-proclaimed feminist who is a misandrist is missing the point. What's your problem with feminists? They don't presume to think women are superior to men in any way. They want to be treated as equals. They don't want any gender-norms or stereotypes to be perpetuated.

"According to them"? That's a vast misrepresentation of feminism. You're homogenizing them (a logical fallacy), speaking for all feminists, and, well simply, claiming something that isn't true.

Hi, I identify as a feminist. I've noticed that it's common in this subreddit to say things like "wow, look at what this feminist said". Most feminists are just fighting for gender inequality, and many (myself included), also recognize that men are too the victims of sexism and gender-inequality (as all feminists, and people, for that matter, should). By continually referring to feminism as the enemy, you're attacking a strawman, and making enemies of those who should be your allies in fighting …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
