There is such a thing as compassion fatigue. I feel like you need to take your focus off of him and turn your gaze inward. Therapy would do wonders. 9	Any ladies here have anxiety issues? How can I best deal with the anxious thoughts that creep in when I REALLY start liking someone? I’ve struggled with anxiety so I totally get what you’re saying. I know you said you can’t afford therapy but that combined with meds for a year made a huge difference in my life. The meds acted like a mental crutch while I learned how to think differently. Other than that it’s important to remind yourself that you were happy before you met this guy, and you’d still have a good life without him. 9	Married at First Sight shows that marriage/couples counseling is a scam. The first season or two was good but then it became like every other reality show.
