It's a senior enlisted non-comissioned officer from a group of soldiers that worked closely with the OP's group of soldiers. E-6 can carry a good bit of weight amoung the enlisted depending on the branch of service, but in all services E-6 are often placed in a supervisor role.

That's a decent point, but I'd say over all women in the IDF are an asset if nothing more than a providing a sense of shared sacrifice and national cohesion.
