Good! Honestly I would love more interaction in person. It messes with my head a little to be constantly told online and by friends how attractive I am and how I have so much to offer but then never really get hit on in person by attractive men. My pics actually look like me, so I'm not sure what my issue is.

Indeed, I'm always impressed but politely turn them down.

Am decent looking, in-shape woman, my OLD account gets tons of attention, but in person I maybe get approached once a month to once every three months. Usually it's by an obese neckbeard. Go figure.

Tailored towards males .. .yes there's nothing really like this for women. I'm 6 months out of spending the last 10+ years of my life in a series of long term relationships. I can always have a decent looking guy around but for the first time I'm trying to find someone who has their life together rather than just go by chemistry and falling into a relationship with someone I haven't really thought through. An occasional hookup is fine too. The reason I'm here is because when I find the kind of g…

Oh I do. What I mean more by quality is a guy who has his life together versus my previous MO which was the charismatic guy who wanted me to put his life together for him. I'm tired of fixing credit scores and building careers. I'd like a man who stands in his own, even awkwardly. Hell I'm often awkward myself I just get forgiven more often for it because boobs.

I think I see, so not like checking-in texts (hey how's it going), but a non-committal "oh by the way, here's my weekend plans, feel free to join at X if you're up for it" but not any direct question or request for time?

Hmm. I'm not sure I'm seeing the connection here between not wanting an aggressive woman and not wanting an emotional connection. Care to explain further?

I'm trying! I just picked up Models so I'm hoping as a woman I can get something out of it. I grew up a super nerdy introvert so even though I'm attractive and confident now, I just don't know all the subtleties that it seems like most girls learned a long time ago. I just fell into my previous relationships and now that I'm trying to be pickier with the quality of guy I get with, those guys are certainly harder to land. I'm not necessarily talking about looks either.

What about pursuing in text or message? That's where most of my interactions start. It seems like I have to sit and wait for him to text me first or I'm being "needy" or "desperate"

Well if someone can please tell me how, that would be great!

I've tried several times. I have better luck if I just keep in the vicinity of the guy I want and make myself available for pursuit while pretending I don't give a fuck.

Ya but I always get rejected if I go after a guy. It's the only time I get rejected. Maybe it's my technique idk.

Seriously. I've never been in a relationship where the man could keep up with me. I have multiple girlfriends who feel close or the same.

Nope. The only time I get rejected is when I persue. One of my friends explained that since I am decent looking with my life together, the need to go after a guy suggests I have other things wrong with me and he will pull back or just want to fuck around. It's proven true.

Very true about the pictures online. As much as I love abs, If his profile pic is nothing but abs then I'll assume he's a slut and bail.

I am the 0.4%! In all seriousness I came here for tips on building confidence after my last breakup and this sub has definitely helped. There are some dbs here but mostly I find this an interesting community to observe. Overall I like what you said but to be honest sometimes I'm not even sure what it is about a guy that attracts me to him. Sometimes it's just the chemistry you feel. Abs help though, not a requirement but it doesn't hurt.

Why?

Same. Logically it's like I have all this stuff going for me but I still can't shake the feeling. I literally get told on a regular basis how awesome I have it and how easy it should be for me to pick up a quality person but I can't seem to do it and it just reinforces the shit feelings.

That is sickening.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
