she would've been happy with "good enough" or "decent considering the other options". it's kinda bad when you say it that way

Encourage people to talk about themselves and listen closely I do that, but I didn't really know what signs to look for. One that I learned the hard way is "talking too much about the previous relationship". How are their relationships with family and co-workers? Do they always cast themselves as victims in troublesome situations? Do they tell "little white lies"? Do they keep their word? Pay their bills on time? Are they able to hold down a job? These are things I'll pay attention to! Thank you

Thank you. Other people here also commented general tips about things to avoid while I don't yet know how to detect nuances in their behavior. Hopefully I can follow them while I gain some experience

well, I don't even have someone to fit my basic criteria, so I don't feel like I can ask for much more than that. When I learn what I'm doing wrong, I can have a better criteria he is! I'm happy you found somebody!

I mean what would you like in a relationship? someone who likes me beyond money and isn't an emotional abuser Truthfully you won't be able to "spot" a good woman. You'll need to get to know her. yeah, but the point is that probably there are many things to pay attention to when getting to know someone in order to tell whether or not she's a good person. Thankfully, there is a lot of helpful comments in this thread pointing out things to pay attention to. insulting you but trying to pass it off a…

I sure am a people pleaser. Else I’d recommend to keep your guard up at first with new women you meet and try to build a connection without money and favors first. okay, thank you!

I've been reading RedPill content for the last couple of weeks, but my issue with it is it's really hard to have 4 billion women fitting into the same theory and I'm afraid of going too extreme in my views of women. I really think The Game only works on a subset of women who behave in the specific way that makes it work. I don't know how large this subset is, but it seems to me that women who fall out of this subset would make the best partness. But I could be wrong Based on your comment, I thin…

I never heard about Patrice Oneal before. I'll check it out as knowledge is never too much. I do casually date, but I tend to stick with the ones who look like a good person. I guess I'm just terrible at telling who is actually a good person You also need to self reflect. I agree

In my case, I never bring it up as I always thought it was none of my business. But it happened more than once that a girl said "I have never done this before" or "I only did this once" and later I found out were lying. And I don't even know why they felt they needed to lie when I didn't even ask. They could just not say anything

It started with money. I was had a very poor childhood but, since my early 20s, I have a good financial life. I don't buy expensive stuff, I'm not materialistic, but somehow they could see I had money and tried to get that from me. And I spent some tens of thousands on them. I didn't bother spending the money because I mostly don't use it and I thought they needed it. But some friends of mine were horrified when I casually told them and they told me the girls were there just for money. And they …

Do you randomly approach, yes. And, in some cases, they're the ones approaching me. Both cases end up the same. or do you have lots of friendships with women or where you can meet women through? I do have many friends. Even in my friendships I had got far too many people (men and women) that are there just to use me. That's how I know there's something wrong with me that are attracting these kind of people and making me think they're good. It can take a while to find the click, but once you do i…

Oh boy have you come to the wrong place! Oh no! I try to observe and immitate successful relationships, but it didn't work so far. I asked my friends about it and they just said I just don't have luck on it. There's cleary more than luck involved but I didn't want to bother them further. I think there's something out there I just can't see. It's not normal to be always choosing wrong. Just by pure chance alone, some choices should be right

Thank you. I've been reading a lot about Red Pill content for the last couple of weeks and it really changed my mind in a lot of ways. But I'm afraid of going too extreme in my views, so I like to use PPD to read some counter arguments, as it looks more neutral

There's incredibly high rates of domestic violence. And a lot of that violence can be prevented if women carried guns. yes. Doing domestic work while having a gun in your waist

TRP have good points. Blue Pillers have good points. Nobody is 100% right or 100% wrong. It's all a gray area. One should read it all and collect the good things while avoiding the bad things

in the general case, the man is the only one paying for these dates. So, yeah, they're expecting something in return. If the woman is not interested in having sex, it would be good if she said id upfront, so the guy can decide if he still wants to keeping spending his money on her. PS: that's not my behavior but, as a man, I know lots of men and they do think like that

I explained to her I shared some experiences of mine; We made a OLD App male profile just so I could show her how it worked out for guys; I shared some experiences of my friends; And she gradually understood it. She was really willing to understand our point of view, so it helped. Did she accuse her average guy friends of sleeping around? No... She didn't have guy friends at that time

not agreeing with the comment, but rape happens. In every war there's rape. It's happening right now. Every time there's a lack of consequences for rapists, there's rape. If something like what u/ihopeitsnormal describes happens, you can be sure there'll be A LOT of rape. That's what humans do I disgree with u/ihopeitsnormal views, tho

yep. My first girlfriend thought any average man had easy sex with hoes out there. It was a very simple thinking process: "there are many man asking me to hook up. I don't accept it because I have standards, but I'm sure many other women do." It's just the "I'm not like the other girls" concept. It took a long time to teach her that, while an average guy might try to hook up with many girls, his success hate can be extremely low because the "other girls" have standards too. Everyone wanna feel s…

Maybe I'm being dumb, but I'm not seeing the Standard Deviation in these charts. Anyway, your first link shows the weekly earnings in US is 19% bigger today than it was in the year 1980. But, in the US, the dolar has lost 70% of it's value in the same period. I don't think I have to say more
