I've found that focusing on "the wife is the oldest teenager in the house" during arguments helps put everything in perspective in my case. I think I saw it here first, someone said "if a 13-year-old was making the comment, how would you react?" Now imagine a 13-year-old saying very huffily "well if I am going to be a burden well just forget it" or whatever. Doesn't have quite the same punch, does it? Also, resolution that never comes. this is a weakness that I have as well, I want to be done wi…

I dunno. Maybe they're just gonna keep wrecking shit until texas gives up. Agreed, very possible outcome. That's kind of funny too. Not to me, but I can see the "stick it to the fuddy-duddies" vibe could be appealing. Sucks for the girls, but it's not his fault. It's most definitely her fault. If a person truly loves a sport or any other activity or association, they'll 'take one for the team' as it were, not shit all over it. But see... that's a manly virtue, honor is. "Sorry girls. Please tell…
/r/MensRights27/02/17 09:20 PM

Same argument: as an athlete, fairness inside your own head has to count for something. Get a new hobby, since your choice to transition has made the old one impossible at the previous level to which you were accustomed. I don't think Texas is the problem here, as they're dealing with a chick on steroids, not a suddenly-dude-but-formerly-chick. In other words... there are no chicks with dicks, only dudes with tits.
/r/MensRights27/02/17 07:52 PM

I don't understand why she wouldn't just stop wrestling while undergoing the process to become "he," but keep training... then getting destroyed in the real male division. Seems like a true athlete's idea of sportsmanlike conduct would run to something along the lines of Welp, I'm in the middle of this transition to being a guy for my own benefit. I'm jacked up on what amounts to performance-enhancing substances, so maybe I shouldn't use that unfair advantage to wallop every girl in sight, and s…

Hm... Try to think of it this way: getting laid is a by-product of being a guy with his shit together, not the reverse. You're autistic? You've got hard limits? So what? Again, the world doesn't care about you, so you've got to challenge yourself to be the best that you can be. You seem to have grabbed on to "status" but status is a social thing, and very mutable... changes fluidly from one moment to the next! I don't know how you feel, nor do I ascribe to it much importance. How we feel changes…

Pretty much, as well as having a lot of jokes with my wife to the tune of DO THE DISHES OR I'M OPENING UP OUR RELATIONSHIP or FINISH PUTTING ON YOUR FUCKING MAKEUP OR I'M OPENING UP OUR RELATIONSHIP
/r/seduction27/01/17 04:40 PM

You got that right! And as to it being disgusting, yeah it really was. He's always been okay with me, but my immediate reaction was schadenfreude... as the evening went on I just felt sorry for the guy, he was trying to put a brave face on it to the tune of "we're having hotter sex than ever now." It... was not enjoyable to watch, and he went to bed 'with the kids' just a tad after midnight.
/r/seduction27/01/17 01:04 AM

I'm not one of them, and judging by what you said in your post neither are you. Ignore what you can't improve. You do you. That being said, I agree. I know a guy exactly like that... and I shit you not I just found out over new year's day that his (still very slim and quite hot) wife decided to open up their marriage... Dude, they were discussing a 'rule' in their 'new' 'relationship' where she's not allowed to bring guys back to their home to fuck while he and her two adorable kids are upstairs…

You set the terms. There will be times when you genuinely don't want to fuck: feel like shit for whatever reason, or maybe you've got something going on with something/someone else, whatever - it doesn't matter what the reason is. She doesn't even get to know what the reason is. This reminds me of "make yourself your own mental point of origin." Rollo, I believe. Great advice!

Most men's value increases gradually over time with achievements and money earned, while women's decreases as their looks give out. "Men age like wine, women like milk." <-- best way I've heard yet to describe the phenomenon

Dude, the world doesn't care if you feel like shit. It doesn't care if you're down, it doesn't care if you're a social loser. Same for me, same for any man. The only one that can change that is you. Put in the work, or not. Use PUA materials or not. Lift weights and force yourself to be social... or not! You're the only one that will truly ever know what happened. /r/seduction26/01/17 03:57 PM

I've 'said' this before to another user, but a TL;DR for you: Men can't be passive, women can. Doesn't matter if you don't think pulling chicks in person would work or not, YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT WORK, or doom yourself to an incel life. Online dating is for women, not for men.

I like that you said that bottling up your true reaction hurts you, you're at least that aware. I think that you're raging at yourself more than anything else, and that you've got some pretty thorough one-itis for this girl. The standard tactic is, I think, the best: fuck 2-3 new girls, it'll clear your mind for what you really want to do about this girl, instead of living in her frame like you've been doing. Good luck, your post sounds like you're on the right path, IMO.

Naw man, equality is never going to happen. That's a fact... The pendulum will swing between a woman-dominated society (such as ours now) with too little masculinity and a society more like that of the pre-20th century, with men more-or-less ascendant... but it will not stop. History does observably and provably repeat itself, because, obviously, we can't learn from it.

It sounds like you guys are wrestling with the idea of male disposability. Lose one man, not a big deal for the tribe, at a purely genetic level. Lose a woman, much much bigger problem. Sperm is cheap and eggs are not, etc etc. This carries over into who people give a shit about. Disposability of men's feelings, rights, etc, if you will.

By arguing at this length and with such clear arguments you're doing only one thing, namely using a lot of energy to which "she" responds with brief ad-hominems. Perhaps that's what hooked you, you're actually trying to speak to the troll as though it were interested in anything other than lulz, as though anything you ever said would stop the put-downs and so on. Stop that, go talk to other men here or anywhere else... And remember that it takes a whole lot more energy (mental, physical, emotion…

Perfectly normal way to react. Unfortunately, as I've learned over and over, "just not caring" doesn't work. Feminism is represented by powerful, long established and well funded organizations, whereas mens' rights is still largely a fringe movement. Although this is true, from a purely conceptual point of view, it shouldn't matter. Just because one side has more money and influence doesn't mean that their opinions are more important, just more likely to be heard.
