That sucks. Personally, I don't consider sex "complete" until both parties have either orgasmed or declined to orgasm. I don't think women are particularly more difficult to get off than guys, though - as a qualifier, I'm bi and have have a moderate number of encounters with females. Do you think that females are unique in their 'biology' in using the opposite sex as status symbols, and some for LTR material? Have you ever heard of a "trophy wife"?

I think this is more noticeable in the gay community. In gay-dense cities, you can't swing a dick without hitting a gay dude, but >50% of them are hitting the gym constantly, doing steroids, dieting, etc. in order to put themselves at the top of that "hot" pack. I think sex is always a seller's market. When you're horny, you'll put your dick in anything. When you're not, not so much. Women, being less horny than men overall, are looking to make their sex more meaningful. Whatever that may mean t…

Man, I've been doing it wrong this whole time!

I dunno, I consider 'having sex with a new partner for the first time' to be a special kind of normal human interaction. The kind that allows for the leeway to say, "Hey, ya wanna fuck?" And if she doesn't want to fuck because I asked her, I'll never know unless she tells me, but ultimately, I'm totally fine with that. As I said elsewhere, I consider that a sign of immaturity. Girls should be able to handle a simple yes/no question about fucking.

This genuinely made me laugh.

You must've missed the part where I recognized that you're not my brand of crazy. There's no convo going on here. You can't seem to handle guys asking you direct questions about sex. It's an instant, irreversible turn-off.

I can save you any further responses. I just realized why I've got my opinion set the way I do: this level of being-unable-to-talk-about-sex reeks of immaturity. Maybe that's not the case with you, but it's a huge red flag to me. It's completely fine to me if this is a dealbreaker for a girl I want to have sex with, because it would be a dealbreaker for me if she is that immature that she can't handle a yes or no question about fucking.

It's a logical problem. If there is a non-zero chance that you don't want to fuck this guy, in order to avoid embarrassing himself, or in the worst case, assaulting you - I mean I've read at least two instances where the girl admitted that they wanted the guy to go for it despite their apparent disinterest in the act - he should get confirmation, if nothing else as protection from crazies that call rape after-the-fact. Since you've made it clear that it's possible that you could've gotten to a p…

That's the better solution? "Hmm, she's giving me the 'come fuck me' vibes, best not chance it with words. I'mma just put my dick in her. Hope I'm right!" I get that there's all types, I just can't believe there are people who are so staunchly opposed to the idea that it would literally change their mind about whether they want to have sex with the person - especially since that exact person has already admitted that's exactly what they wanted to do. A: *man, I could really go for some ice cream…

You make it sound like once you've decided to go home with him there's no turning back. There's zero chance that you could be having misgivings about this guy - that you have made up your mind that you're going to fuck him and the only way he can change your mind is by asking whether or not you want to fuck. Because if there was any chance that you had misgivings about the guy, or just decided you weren't feeling up for fucking, then maybe it's not such a retarded move for him to "check in". But…

Yeah, we covered that. Once you decide you're going to fuck someone, the only thing that can persuade you to not-fuck them is for them to ask whether you want to fuck. Coolios.

It's not about feminism, it's about common decency. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ There's a thousand things that could've come up. You felt like you were on your period, you didn't like his Pikachu dolls, you thought he was generally creepy - and you were just waiting for the right moment to explain that you just weren't feeling it and you were going to dip. But I guess it's just fucking for you? Not fucking isn't an option? Changing your mind isn't an option? This is absolutely wild to me.

Was it possible you could've gone to his place to smoke without any interest in sex? (Assuming the answer is yes) How would he be able to tell the difference between your expectations without asking?

This is exactly my stance. Glad to see that I'm not alone. Was seriously concerned that this was the case based on the options presented.

I think this has more to do with how poorly sex workers are looked upon than anything else. Sex work is sonata normal in South Korea and Germany. It wouldn't be a flicker on the radar if a woman from one of those areas found out her man had paid for sex, especially if it was a very long time ago and then had a fairly long relationship. And also this woman's insecurities are weird. You've been having sex with someone for 7 years and you're just NOW getting tested? I wouldn't care of that person s…

Has spite voting? Legitimately asking. Up until the Hillary Clinton voting insanity, I'd never seen so many people blatantly admit they voted against her. Like they didn't care that Trump was an illiterate narcissistic turnip, just that devil-Clinton didn't get in. Note: I'm only 33.

This is all I really cared about, actually. You cannot tell me that if a woman was charged with likewise nomination-ending allegations and her response was to: break down, emotionally, in front of god and country; accuse an entire political ideology, "the Clintons", and some conspiratorial shadow-benefactor that paid for this orchestration; and behave like a disrespectful cunt to the people asking questions That you would not consider them unfit for the job, any job! It's not a fucking trial. It's a job interview. Even if the allegations are false, his response to them showed that he's a whiny, self-entitled man-baby.

Considering my relation to the person who performed the act, I haven't told anyone in my immediate family and this happened 27 years ago. The perpetrator has since committed suicide, and I don't see a need to spread the pain around. It would cause needles strife to his mother, and my mother, and family gatherings would likely become even rarer as a result. The only people I've told are sexual partners, when it became relevant, and random strangers whom I will likely never meet in real life.

No it does not. For a rape accusation to have been credited as "truthful", there had to be enough evidence (beyond a shadow of a doubt) to convict the accused. In instances where there was not enough evidence, as I have laboriously described, those instances were put down as "not credible" or "false". You lack basic reading comprehension. It is astounding.

It is quite different. Having been in a car accident resulting in a concussion, several traumatic brain injuries that otherwise were mundane (I wasn't aware until after the fact that I'd suffered a TBI), and having been raped, I would never have considered calling an ambulance for the rape, but to be fair, I wouldn't have called an ambulance for my latest TBI until I collapsed from breathing difficulties. Additionally, having witnessed my mother who was driving the car during the major car accid…

That means that the majority of rape accusations favor the accuser. Do you even read?

The conclusion that I allege is that the majority of rape accusations are not provably false, nor are they withdrawn nor do they end up with evidence that is equivocal to the accuser and the accused. The studies seem to prove this point quite aptly. That is literally all the data the studies provide. They track the number of rape accusations and how many of them, in varying locations across varying timeframes, end up not being proven to be true. Put your money where your mouth is. Provide data t…

Which is when the accused is sentenced due to evidence "beyond a reasonable doubt" and all other instances are reported as "false rape accusations". Maybe you should clarify what you mean by "empirical verification" in this context. The studies I cited are empirical. They take data we presently have, measure them, and produce statistics.

I guess we're arguing over two different things. I'm talking about whether we can prove whether an event took place through evidence and forensics. You're talking about omniscience. Cool talk.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/18 08:26 PM

You mentioned one reason. And I disproved it. And the studies do support my position. The majority of the time women who come forward with rape accusations are telling the truth.

An injury would be different from a trauma. Trauma can include non-physical things. With regards to medical conditions, an injury is purely physical. You don't call an ambulance because your mother died of a gunshot in your arms, even though there's certainly a lot of emotional trauma there. You definitely call an ambulance if you suffered some injury during/after your mother was shot, assuming they're grave enough.

I did address your "actual" argument. It was that you think that there's an undue amount of evidence required to attribute something as a "false rape allegation". You think that there are "stringent" requirements for proving that a crime didn't happen. I'm telling you that you are wrong. These studies, papers, what-have-you attribute ANY allegation that does not prove out to be truthful as a false rape allegation. That is, if the evidence does not unduly support the accuser, or the accuser admit…

I think this is simply an example of you either not understanding or choosing to redefine things to meet your goals. The 'stringent' standards to prove the crime didn't occur are that there was no evidence to back up the claims - exactly like what will be the case if there's no corroboration of Dr. Ford's claims. If there is no evidence and no testimony to back up her claims, this would go in the 'false rape accusation' bucket. The meta-analysis that I linked you - which I imagine, due to your s…

And that's why most of the studies/papers/whatever I cited all accept the fact that it's likely that the percentage of false rape accusations is higher than the percentage of false rape accusations in their findings. Even if the percentage were three times what these papers found (one of them a meta-analysis), that would still only put it at 15% of all reported rape cases are false. 85 out of 100 would be truthful. You are not being intellectually honest, let alone someone of intellectual integr…

Hmm, well, since you can't be bothered to Google anything, here's a bunch of links you won't read or will cherry-pick to support your idiotic, baseless stance: A study on the prevalence of false rape accusations placed the number at ~5.55% This meta-analysis suggested that the rate would be greater than 5%, but in their paper, they found it to be 5.2% Examining data from the Los Angeles Police Department in 2008 put the number of false rape accusations at 4.5% This report, of a 17-month period b…

How do you lose intellectual integrity by recognizing that, in all likelihood, they've gone through something deeply traumatic? A preponderance of studies, journals, and other bodies of literature put the number of false rape accusations well below 10%. Some as low as 2%. Perhaps the intellectual integrity would require you pay closer attention to statistics, and only believe 98% of the women that come forward. Or 90%, it's your call.

As a dude who primarily fucks dudes, I feel like I am attracted to men for reasons independent of what women find attractive in men - I also realize I'm not the target of this debate, but I think my opinion is valid to the extent that men can also, in a wholly platonic fashion, determine what is considered manly/masculine.

You're crazy, or you're alone (or maybe this is a red pill thing?) I'm a strong guy, very capable at my craft, better than most of my peers. I don't look up to anyone in my life currently. I have no people I wish to emulate. I like my life and I'm striving to learn more, get promoted, make more money, etc. I have zero issues with being generally polite to people when I have zero reason to be any specific way to them. I mean what way would you prefer people interact with you when they have no spe…
