Near the end there you mention you feel they need to deal with the consequences of their decisions.... remember where you are now? Good, welcome back. If it would make your life and dynamic happier then do it. Guilt for carrying the weight of other peoples decisions, especially if you have a solid reason for it, ei less time with your parents, is just bad choices. Ones you will regret. Edit 3. If you wanna hardcore rationalize it with something such as reincarnation, they need that last thought …

I would take this a step further and say that men tend to isolate later in life (regardless of younger dispositions or that truth you laid out there). What I’ve noticed is not loneliness being the problem, but degeneration from lack of projects or a network (as other men start disappearing not just from age but also this same isolation)

You sound like you’re a fast food restaurant manager trying to defer the point because you don’t know the answer. The burden of proof is in the man making the statement.

I’ve already read the sidebar. I’ve been here for years. I don’t see the logic behind not changing diapers.

If it’s in the sidebar and common knowledge, why would you need to say it?

Curious for your logic on this.

watched "The Pacific" with my Japanese ex. She cheered when the Japanese died... it was awkward.

Went to Hanoi 3 years ago... are there *ANY* attractive Vietnamese females? I have literally never met one.

I'm well aware that all of this may suddenly change ;) I appreciate your concern.

Yeah... today I fell alseep and didn't show up for our date, she was understanding and just moved the location.

Nah, she's 22. HB9. An oddity for sure.

Could also be the age difference (12 years), but generally she is not prone to fits of emotion. 4 years in and shit hasn't changed.

That would depend highly on the dynamic that is lending itself to his previous relationships failures, but agreed I doubt he would reach higher SMV by reading the sidebar.

And you are correct. Not sure why so many are keen to throw the baby out with the bathwater. He is easily "Alpha" in a greater SMV sense than anyone else contributing here, however he isn't able to hold it down for reasons we can only guess at, but are probably not far off about. What I am starting to dislike about this subreddit is that it is going the way of all "ism's", it's becoming dogmatic and blind in it's rhetoric. While still helpful, we can't really evolve our understanding of the soci…

Open marriage carries a higher risk of getting STDs. Rationally, I would draw the same conclusion... however when it comes to psychology/sociology there tend to be a lot of outcomes that are not intuitive. Is that something you've read or can cite? Plus, branch swings happen more likely/sooner.> Probably true, but if someone wants to filter themselves out of my life ... I'll be fine. I'm probably way better situated if I've already got other people I'm seeing. But yeah, why get married or make t…

/u/Heathcliff-- The Onset and eventual "entropy" of male/female relationships seems to be one that is chemical. You point out a wonderfully idealized version a LTR/Marriage here. While it may be attained with the vigilance and integrity of both parties, I'm of the opinion that there is a lifetime for sexual attraction. I say there is a vector that allows for all of this, with sexual freedom once a relationship hits a point, and this integrity is openly and honestly maintained. What say you to th…

they are also seeking just as much sex on the side (80-90% if male Japanese colleagues are to be taken at face value. I for one see this as the only hole in this argument of life-long marriage/child rearing. The chemical bond that causes us to LTR and procreate, but then fades with the duress of time is as empirical/scientifically verifiable as it gets. It seems to me that while EVERYONE who executes this software when they get married strives for these ideals, there are bugs in the system becau…

I think the reason you were downvoted is because you missed the punchline. You were making a point (maybe) related to my comment and it was building, then you veered off. if you werent maybe intoxicated on something and this is a template of how you communicate, think on it.

this comment was supposed to be ironic, based on a previous comment.... the context/continuity of which I probably only got. You're right.

My point is that everyone uses sex as a form of validation. Do you disagree with that outright? I get what you're saying. If we were having a different conversation, I'd be promoting physics while you say engineering is a more worthy discipline. Once we've pushed the limits of engineering, we must then go back to physics so we can achieve more. See the forest through the trees.

we (too) use sex for validation. It's a moot point. Let's turn off the blinders. I feel this sub is getting to dogmatic, and we should edge more towards philosophy than principals.

Ding ding ding ding ding. This is exactly what's going on. Anyway, the hard truth is. All relationships are going to end eventually. Most of them end when someone secures the next. It was either you were gonna do it to her, or she to you. Seems like you're gonna bounce back and slay some pussy tho.

I fucked a girl who was on vacation with her bf. They got in a fight one evening and he said don't come back to the hotel room. So I took her to my place after we talked on Tinder while she was "looking for friends"

I'll add to this, from my dad. Learn to take the blame. You're going to have fuck ups in life, and when you do fuck up, own it. Admit it. Everyone hates hearing excuses and you lose respect when you make them. Just admitting to it lets everyone move on from it.
