Me more so. Maybe i'm looking into it too much but i just found it disprespectful to talk to me like that especially when i've taken care of her so much, then she goes on facebook talking about how women are not equal and dont' have equal pay. Been there. Same scenario, I paid 3/4th of my sister's Masters degree rest by my father and yet she claims the world is unfair for women but not for men because men are privileged. You never pay for vacations or your vehicle, yet, all you do is complain ab…

Thanks for the information, I never knew the leftist parties were aggressively indoctrinating for decades.

I agree the leftist parties use feminism, sjw and race stuff but would they be popular if so many individuals did not support them. It boils down to how many people does a political party can attract. The reason I think MR leaning towards center-right or far-right parties is because there is voice. I may not agree with far-right or center-right parties manifesto entirely but they certainly raise some MR issues which the leftist parties call it misogyny to silence both them and MR.

Just my observation, many people on far-right to center-right are willing to have a discussion on MR where as most far-left are completely against even listening to what MR is about. Where as there are people on center-left who do listen to MR but think they are not big enough to worry about.

She’s not the only one. Major Bollywood actresses from Madhuri Dixit to Katrina Kaif to Vidya Balan have been aghast at being linked with the f-word despite the fact that most of them enjoy success because of people who fought for feminism. If there was no feminism, then we’d still be living in a society where women are treated little better than chattel or where her consent has no meaning. This is outright disgusting lie. During the period of 1940 - 1960s, before feminism kicked in India, India…

why woukd they change what works? This is the problem. It is all about the franchise and how much we can earn from this popularity by producing remake of a movie with same story but improved graphics. I sometimes ask the same question and wonder why they are not coming up with new scripts with interesting characters either be female/male. I genuinely would like to ask a person about his/her opinion on this topic. Look at how these people slandered gamers for being mad a game designer fucked a re…

This whole idea of people not watching ghostbusters movie are misogynistic or doesn't like female lead cast is beyond stupid. I personally do not like remake of old classic movies of any genre because those movies reminds me of good childhood memories. I personally do not object if someone want to ruin my childhood memory but I won't watch that remake. I have really disliked much of the remakes so far. On the other note, can they not come up with something original script that reflects current s…

If you only you can come to a conclusion that women are being pushed away from science based on personal or anecdotal evidence then he is either being delusional or ignorant on the subject. If all it takes is a personal experience to prove women being pushed away from science then I will give you my personal experience which contradicts that. Me and my sister both were encouraged to pursue STEM but my sister loved biology (reason she is good at remembering) and hated maths and physics. Never onc…

It's hurting innocent people at this point. I am sorry, if you mean innocent men being hurt that is due to feminist agenda pushing for laws to be changed over the decades at the cost of men. Gender is mainly a concept of our twisted society and you're blindly accepting and conforming to that like the sheep you accuse us of being. Again, this is same feminist propaganda pushing that gender is social construct and whatever men and women suffer is because of evil patriarchy. This is propaganda push…

One of the things I love about this sub is for the first time I am able to read different opinions on different topics and these different opinions are not being censored here. This type of healthy debate and discussion attracts many people. Censoring and echo chambers will eventually run out of participating memebers when they keep beating the same dead horse again and again.

Holy crap they are taking government spending to a whole new level with their false victimhood narrative. To achieve all of their fantasies they are going to raise the taxes likes crazy and damage the economy.

If you got the videos, messages and pics that is solid evidence in the court. You should definitely contact the lawyer and file a lawsuit against the school. Get a good lawyer and don't talk to your ex again and whatever you do do not under any circumstance talk to police. Keep all the communication if you have not deleted yet.

In the English vernacular, "dowry" implies money given ONLY by the bride's family This is not true at all. Dowry has always been from both sides of the family in form of money or land or some other things. As I mentioned some assholes from groupA thought of it as easy money so they started abusing it. Some more assholes followed them. Even in the current days people don't think for a second groom's parents do contribute to their sons marriage and future in form of money/house/vehicle/jewelry and…

The thing is dowry in itself is not a bad concept. Let us say I am going to marry a girl and her father gives her certain amount of money/land/house/furniture/medicalinsurance or stuff like that which will help me and the girl to have a good start in life and we can plan our future well. Similarly my father will give me something like car/money/insurance from my side for both me and the girl to have a good start. Parents want the best to happen to their children and which is why they leave them …

Both Krishnan and Nundy said the feminists do not want gender-neutral laws — but they had advocated for gender-neutral victims, including men (both cisgender and trans), to be included in the new anti-rape law. Krishnan said that if the anti-rape law itself was gender-neutral, then every time a woman reported rape, a man would file a counter case saying he was raped by the woman. Absolutely disgusting way to say we want female privilege not gender equality because women have suffered and men hav…

First thing first, I have to appreciate the author for presenting crime statistics factually but some of them out of context. The author also failed to understand some concepts on dowry deaths of men in India. They had one agenda: to rescue “vulnerable men” from India’s “anti-men laws.” This is outright passive aggressive style of disregarding the problems faced by men is idiotic. There are laws ESPECIALLY (http://ncw.nic.in/frmllawsrelatedtowomen.aspx) for women against sexual harassment, rape,…

I find it pathetic and not funny at all. The question in itself is wrong and untrue yet they believe it and why not ask kids for the answers. On top of that actively blocking the comments shows how weak their convictions on this issue.

Socially India is not a good place for both genders. As per law, men have it way more worse than women.

"There is nothing to be gained from regulating fictional sexual violence. However, while you’re trying to fix the rights of fictional characters, you’re leaving the human rights of real women in the real world left to rot. As well, in Japan, the entire reason we have a media genre such as manga that developed to take on themes such as the sexual exploitation of women came from an attitude to tolerate “drinking the pure and the dirty without prejudice.” It’s because we had the freedom to express …

This is one of the few cases of false accusation which got mainstream attention allowing eyewitnesses to come forward. Indian media, much like the media in a lot of other countries, does not seem to heed to the 'innocent until proven guilty' logic. you need get this into your head. 'Innocence until proven guilty' is a boring notion which does not get any money to the news channel. Imagine a news channel says along these lines 'Well a woman accused a man of eve teasing her in the traffic and the …

It has not fixed the problem: www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/marital-rape-cannot-be-applied-in-the-indian-context-says-indian-minister The minister Maneka Gandhi in the article is just plain right lying and it is just disgusting dishonesty. Woman in India can make criminal lawsuit on husbands when rape happens using sections 498A and can get protection using 'Protection of women from domestic violence' act. There are many cases in India which use multitude of gender biased laws to make cr…

There is no concept of rape within marriage and rape within a relationship in India. Is that what we want to hold up as an ideal situation? There is a separate law for that which is 'Protection of women from domestic violence - 2005' which considers any type of abuse be it sexual or economic or emotional either by living partner or husband. India does recognize live-in relationship along with marriage. So there is protection for women who are abused by their spouses/partners. A cad who promised …

It is really saying a married man cannot be convicted of raping his wife. It does not say that. Actually for that there is a separate law called 'Protection of women from Domestic Violence Act' which includes sexual, emotional and economic abuse by her husband/partner. The court ruling was that women of age > 18 cannot call it a rape when they had consensual sex even though the guy played the marriage card. Just because the guy promised to marry a girl and they had sex and later the guy said no,…

sexually harassed and the school refusing to do anything about it. I don't know about this incident of nungesser being sexually harassed. As I read from the news, students made petition to kick him out of the college. I am not aware of this sexual assault on nungesser which is why I thought the judge was right.

already-feeble law (Title IX) You are so right on it. "Supreme Court held that individuals may file lawsuits for retaliation under Title IX when they face adverse action for complaining about sex discrimination.". The easiest solution to avoid these situations is to remove the law and let the police handle the cases.

"In his decision, U.S. District Judge Gregory Woods wrote that Nungesser’s lawsuit would push Title IX too far, setting a precedent that would allow any students accused of sexual assault to sue a school that did not silence the student who had accused them from speaking out." To be fair the judge is right about the lawsuit by nungesser using Title IX as he was given the due process. Even though the university tried to do unfair due process in nungessar case he still came out as not guilty and a…

I was thinking the same thing. Your friend should have made an insincere apology to get out of that situation. I think it might be a case of misunderstanding but opposite can also be the case. Given the situation, I would say he can go out on date with her if he wants. But warn him to be aware at all times to be conscious not to lose himself and save all the communication between them, you never know what might happen.

Yeah but that's because India is a legitimate rape culture. I don't know where you got this idea but the conviction rates sure say the other way around. Check the table 5.6 in the 2014 statistics pdf from http://ncrb.nic.in/. It is around 28% for non-custodial rape cases implying more than 50% of cases finished investigation so far under rape as FALSE claims in 2014. How does this imply an legitimate rape culture? My next study is on rape and education in Pakistan by the glance I can tell you it…

Exactly the reason. The thing is many women and men in India no matter graduating in any engineering field go for crash course in programming to get a job in IT industry. As there is demand for IT industry in India more people both men and women are choosing because other jobs don't pay that much.

go do it in India and Afghanistan I don't know about things in Afghanistan but I can certainly tell you things are lot difficult for men in India than women. Women have special quotas in Indian public sector and education. The reservation quota is 33%. In some low elections at village level 33% of seats are reserved for women. In public transport 33% of seats are reserved for women. There are women only public buses and trains. There are laws for women against sexual harassment, rape, dowry deat…

You are right to a certain extent but no this is not case of India's caste system. It is fault of gender biased laws Cruelty by husbands or his relatives, Dowry prohibition act, Insult to Modesty of Women, Sexual assault, rape laws. These laws are for women. From 2014 statistics, the conviction rates of these laws fall below 40% and for some laws the conviction rate is less than 20% and this has been trend over the past years. Even though number of cases reported go high conviction rate still re…

Even though I am not US citizen, I find it intriguing to have such a blow to due process and unfair trials by college campus. Given this, nothing being done against such unfair treatment and at the same time pushing it as nationwide law is beyond stupidity. This would be outright violation of men's rights.

For the evidence it shows youtube comments. FFS such youtube comments were made for all most all streamers out there irrespective of gender. If I make a gameplay video and post it on youtube I will get same kind of negative and positive comments. Do I care or get turned off about such comments? Fuck no. I move on with my life, get better at game, make good content by learning video editing and be rock solid at ignoring such comments. Unfortunately, some female and male streamer take such comment…

Sheesh, you guys love finding dumb shit to get offended about. >Are you trying to beat feminists at their own game? Well, so far your game is weak. I don't find it offensive but little bit idiotic to suggest that woman pursuing a man indicates that man is not into her. I don't think any one here is exaggerating it to bring in some changes to dynamics of the socitey. Just laughing at some of the bits that are idiotic. All the book is saying is that if a guy does not bother to put in the effort to…

"Prosecutors will be able to secure convictions using documentary evidence, such as threatening emails and text messages, and bank statements that show an abuser has sought to control the victim financially" you cannot seriously implement a law using such vaguely defined terms for evidence. These situations can be easily applied to a partner who lavishly/irresponsibly spends money or couples who have only one/joint account. This is like legally giving more power for people who wants to scam thei…
