because if men are not obtaining more money than their SOs then they are seen by feminists to be weak/failures. Whereas if a women has a career over having a family she is lauded for being empowered

women are statistically more likely to put family before career, thus taking time off to raise a new born baby or even longer. This being the case they are less likely to raise through the coperate ladder. They also work less hours on average this should explain things
