“Lying about sexual assault = a crime” is a statement of fact that any rational person will agree with, and false rape reports undermine the credibility of actual reports of actual rape. I'm betting the entire argument will be ignored or taken out of context and mocked because of the use of the term "actual rape" to describe rape.

My completely baseless opinion is that is has something to do with the "I'm an Atheist, debate me!" stereotype where pseudo-intellectual white males wave their opinions around while thinking they're hot shit and morally superior. It probably wouldn't be completely wrong to say many MRA's around the internet who go around shoveling their ideology everywhere are the same fedora-clad people who debate religious folks on Facebook.

What happened was a bunch of misogynistic assholes started trolling her pretty bad, she changed her marketing strategy to, "look at what these assholes are doing," then white knights flooded out of the woodwork to throw money at her. The first time I noticed the "nice guys are just cowardly assholes who want sex" viewpoint was from this xkcd strip. Ever since then I've been seeing more and more of it on the internet. Over the last few years 4chan in particular has become infested with "beta threads" where the subject of discussion ranges from not having a girlfriend to spaghetti falling out of pockets due to awkwardness around girls.

If you're talking about piercing the ears of a baby then I stand by my statement that any form of ritualistic mutilation is wrong. If you're talking about a bunch of teenage girls getting their ears pierced then I don't see anything wrong with that. They're free to make their own decisions. Pretty much every negative effect of having foreskin can be remedied by simply having good hygiene. Clean it while you're in the shower and you're all good. There's also the matter of "circumcision protects against STD's" which is also a load of horseshit. All of that is negated by wearing a damn condom, along with the bonus of preventing unwanted pregnancy. Circumcision is a barbaric practice which should be outlawed.
