That's what this sub is - sitting on thumbs signaling all day.

Exactly, weakness. They aren't man enough to hold their family together, so they weakly demand that the woman change her last name to put up some sort of bogus "united" front. What cucks.

> It wasn't rape in any way. If someone can afford to pay $6000/month, he can afford getting an escort anytime he wants. He won't rape. Some guys get their jollies from raping women. Doesn't matter how much they make. The reason you often don't hear about rich guys getting arrested for it is that they'll just buy off their victim.

It's signaling that the man is weak and has a fragile ego. But that's what a lot of the "signaling" in this subreddit is really about - propping up fragile male egos.

Why would "most men" give a shit? Are they that weak that a woman's last name matters to them at all? This seems like a pathetically weak thing to worry about.

Let's say, for a moment, that I authentically don't give a shit what my wife's last name is. You're saying that it's 'red pill' behavior to demand that she changes her last name anyway, for reasons?

Rather than anger, knowing that there are lesser peoples fills me with a calmness. Nothing that lesser peoples can do will drive me to anger. Does a dog drive me to anger? If I were to view such lesser peoples as equal to me, then their behaviors might drive me to anger. Rather, I view them much as I view a puppy.

It is far easier to make jokes about one dimensional stereotypes (Homer as total buffoon) than to create humor around a multi-dimensional character (Homer in the first season or two). The writers went for the easy humor after the first few seasons and the characters on The Simpsons devolved into cardboard thin stereotypes. It's not just Homer - every character on the show did. Hollywood writing is generally really lazy writing. It's when the writers actually go the extra step that viewers get ge…

Your viewpoint is not an "objective viewpoint." Rather it is a demonstration of your retention of your blue pill programming.

I don't pity them. I am disgusted by them. They are barely human and are only there for exploitation.

Swallowing the red pill is difficult, but it comes with the perk of seeing women as the lesser people that they are and also seeing blue pillers as the intellectually deficient lesser people that they are.

I'm probably about to be banned because I said this exact thing to a moderator just now. I suggest going to an actual self-improvement subreddit.
/r/TheRedPill31/03/15 07:19 PM

I'd rather just leave. There is nothing of value here. I came here because it was suggested to me as male self-improvement, but it's nothing more than betas not bothering to self-improve but instead mimic methods that come naturally to alphas and also complain about women. I'll go to actual self-improvement subs instead. And I did submit an article. It's sitting here in my text editor, about 1,200 words in length about how men should work to become alphas first and focus on themselves rather tha…

That's my point exactly. Focusing on "sexual strategy" is just a recipe for remaining a beta that puts on affections and pretends to be an alpha.

OK, I just did again, without any embedded links. I just suggested finding subreddits on fitness and self improvement. And it was rejected again. Yay. I get the memo.

I'm not allowed to contribute. I wrote a lengthy article about how the real valuable part of /r/theredpill is male self-improvement and included a ton of info on male self-improvement, including links and suggested subreddits. It got auto-modded and deleted instantly. So, I'm not "more than welcome," and that just reinforces my original point that this subreddit doesn't want to hear anything other than women-focused posts.

It's more like "male obsession with pussy and altering behavior to what women actually want, thus continuing female dominance." Males won't be dominant until they stop thinking with their dicks. This subreddit is proof positive of that.

No, I'm saying the obvious: 90% of threads on /r/TSP are about women, not about male self-improvement. I'm not sure whether you really don't see it or just don't want to see it.

Introspection is among the highest of character traits. True introspection is. Most of the time "introspection" simply means reinforcing what you already think.

So you think that the character of children unrelated to you has no consequence to your future? I don't buy that at all.
/r/TheRedPill30/03/15 05:57 PM
1

In a broad sense, we know it's necessary for SOMEONE out there to be raising capable children because we'll need those capable children to provide for us when we're older. So far, thanks to our human biology and the developmental needs of children, the most successful recipe for parents of capable children are pair-bonded adults in a monogamous relationship. We need a lot of those in society, even if we don't necessarily want it ourselves. Prostitution works against that, as it can mess with tha…

I disagree with your belief that society doesn't view prostitution as a negative. You may not view it as a moral negative, but that's not true of broader society. When you use economics to boil down something that seems morally neutral - the dating scene - down to something that seems morally negative - prostitution - you should expect negative feedback. It's essentially just a slightly more PR version of calling every sexually active non-monogamous woman a whore.
/r/TheRedPill30/03/15 04:04 PM
2

I disagree. A prostitute is someone who exchanges sex for something of value. When you reduce things like one night stands down to economics, they quickly appear exactly the same as prostitution. One person wants sex and is willing to exchange something - dinner and a movie, concert tickets, etc. - for it. Those things have monetary value, so if you reduce them down to the financial cost of the things exchanged for sex, it's no different than prostitution.
/r/TheRedPill30/03/15 02:39 PM
2

The problem that many have with it is that it makes sexually promiscuous people appear to be prostitutes, and people generally don't like that. This is true for both men and women - if you translate what they have to give for what they want to receive for it, sometimes the man is the prostitute.

All these qualities—calm docility, playing together without competition, sitting still for hours in a classroom—are all qualities of girls. Woodworking is for girls, then? Woodworking involves being calm and docile, doesn't involve competition, and requires you to move little for hours. Edit: You guys fail to get the point. I quoted traits that the OP is describing, all of which could describe woodworking, but the OP attributes these traits to "girls." Those traits aren't "for girls" at all, per…

The problem is that the top content paints a picture of what the sub is about, and it currently paints a picture of a sub that's about emotionally altered pictures of women and pure using and disposing of women. I can't help but laugh at the people who act all butthurt about feminists finding this subreddit misogynist. Read those top five posts again. What woman would find this subreddit to be a place about male self-improvement, as many delusionally want to believe that it is? There are several…

I deal with those people every day for my job. You are full of shit. Amused mastery and power-talk are ridiculed if they're ever used. They'll get your funding cut almost immediately if you try that kind of bullshit because you've demonstrated that you're a worthless shitbag. I have my job solely because I don't do any of that shit. I look people in the eye and flat-out tell them what I think should be done.

If you think that, then you've spent very little time in the halls of actual power and rely on Hollywood for your image of how things work. I've been there. That's not how things work. Those people would laugh you out of the room if you tried to use "amused mastery and power talk" to make decisions worth millions or billions of dollars.

Again - what nonsense, specifically, are you talking about? You keep throwing around that word nonsense, but you never define it. Define it now. OK, let's do this. You state that the point of /r/TSP is, and I quote: Lifting weights? Becoming a legitimate professional and making decent money? Being stoic? Not being a pushover? Advocating/pursuing your own best interests? Shouldn't the all-time top posts in /r/TSP reflect this? Let's see what they are. Here's the top five: Getting ready to black-k…

TRP is about all women. The women you meet at work. The women you meet at the coffee shop. The women you meet at a professional conference. The women you meet on Tinder. The women you work for. The women that work for you. The woman that is the mother of your children, and even your own mother. The problem is that the psychology of women, as described on TRP, is nothing like any woman who has spent more than five minutes in my life. I do not know a woman who is the kind of witless automaton who …

Holy Christ, you sound like a mindless TRP automaton. What the hell are you even talking about? I'm going to try to parse your meme-speak here. First of all, if a "bro" has been "locked down" by a woman, there's a personality disconnect and a lack of communication going on there. If a "bro" feels "locked down," then that's his fault, not the woman's fault. You can't blame women for men being spineless. Second, "having frame" is about the dumbest crock of shit I have ever read in my entire time o…

That is a quick off the cuff metric and it's probably off a little in either direction, but ~40% in the past 30 days shows you just how off your assumptions are. First of all, if you go to that link, it's providing numbers of people who have bought drinks at a nightclub or bar in the last 30 days. That includes people like old alcoholics in their 70s going to their neighborhood dive bar or small town middle aged people going to the local watering hole to buy a drink. Saying that 75%+ of all peop…

Most people go to clubs OK, you lost me right there. I don't even remotely believe this. This is the type of mythologizing that goes on here in /r/theredpill where the users declare that "all women" are the rather small subset of women that would go clubbing.
/r/TheRedPill16/03/15 04:24 PM

I work in an R&D lab. The gender split is about 50/50. No one here goes to clubs. Most of the non-work conversation is about intellectual issues. Most of the larger social networks are with other R&D labs in the area. There is plenty of sex and hooking up, but when anyone tries to practice the kinds of things described here, they get laughed at and ignored by both men and women. The most sexually successful guy around here is a short and mostly quiet guy with glasses who is good at explaining th…

How very few of the women I meet in the real world are anything close to the model of woman being described on /r/theredpill , for starters.
/r/TheRedPill16/03/15 06:31 AM

So, what exactly are you saying that's getting downvoted so strongly? Attracting women is a failure goal. Women are not attracted to men who have attracting them as their goal. Most "pickup artist" attitudes completely fail outside of club and bar scenes. The vast majority of women are nothing like what is being described on TRP. The "pickup artist" techniques are geared toward women who have constantly been in and put themselves in situations where nonstop male attraction has been foisted on th…

Actually, it's a sign of how completely ineffective TRP is that we're not getting doxxed.
/r/TheRedPill15/03/15 07:34 PM

You sum up the failure of TRP perfectly: If i didn't crave female affection i wouldn't be here. This entire subreddit is about ceding power to women. This entire subreddit paints a picture that a man's life needs to revolve around attracting women, which cedes even more power to them. Feminists ought to fucking love this place.
/r/TheRedPill15/03/15 07:33 PM

It's not provable in the least. I don't know of a truly successful male that adopts even half of the "alpha" stereotypes in this subreddit. If I go down to the douchebag bar with tons of overpriced drinks, I see a lot of TRP on display. If I go to the state legislature or to a executive board meeting, if someone acted like a TRP "alpha," they'd get laughed out of the room. TRP is wannabe shit.

So, basically, kowtow to some specific image of "maleness"? Fuck that. I'll be my own man, thank you very much. If women like it, that's great. If not, at least I have myself. I'd be fucking embarrassed to adopt most of the behaviors on that list.

This is the one place - the ONE place - in the entire world - where men can speak without guile, pretense, or subtext. I wish to God this were true, but the truth is that there is more pretense and subtext here than almost anywhere else I've participated online. If you do not kowtow to the groupthink here, you are labeled as a "beta" and down voted into oblivion. I hope to someday actually find an open-minded forum for men rather than a pickup artist circle jerk. I have flat-out never felt more …

You control the finances now, but if she wants out she gets half. This is the point of a prenupital agreement. Just agree to divide assets based on division of reasonably expected income. If a woman won't sign it, leave.

Narcissism is "excessive or erotic interest in oneself and one's physical appearance." That's the entire point of this subreddit. The entire focus of TRP is to be focused on yourself above all other people. In your very own words, the point of this subreddit is for a man to be focused on himself above women.

You say: This is why I downvoted you. When I call you on it, you go all beta and change your story: I actually went back and upvoted you That's all that really needs to be said. You got called out on your shit test and you recanted. See you later, beta.

Either (a) I spoke the truth and you downvoted me for it, which means you're a dumbass, or (b) I spoke something you perceive as a lie and you downvoted me for it, which makes sense. Since I couldn't parse anything remotely coherent out of your response, I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt and assumed you weren't a dumbass. Thanks for proving me wrong.

The entire point of this subreddit is that RP males are inherently superior to non-RP males and all females. This doesn't strike you as narcissistic?
/r/TheRedPill10/03/15 05:07 AM

Not sure why it's funny. Men and women are both extremely narcissistic. TRP is one of the most narcissistic subreddits. I welcome the downvotes, but if you actually think about what narcissism is and compare it to TRP, it matches up perfectly.

I was drowning because I hit my head on a rock off of a diving platform. He couldn't swim because he had several ear surgeries as a child and should not submerge his head, a medical issue he ignored when trying to save me.

The guy that was the best man at my wedding dove into a lake to save my life. He couldn't swim and had thrown on a life preserver. A few years later, he jumped off of a garage roof and broke his lower leg saving my son's life (when the boy's aunt should have been watching the boy). What did I do in return? I drove five hours one way in the middle of the night to knock on his door at 4 AM and talk him out of committing suicide after the worst run of bad luck a human being could ever have. I allow…

You'll never find yourself in a situation where a girl is giving you gifts and cooking you meals, but NOT having sex with you. I have never in my life read such bullshit. This has literally happened to me a bunch of times. One example: in college, there was a straight single girl who lived in the apartment next to me. She came over two or three nights a week to watch a movie; most of those times, she made us dinner together. I think I made a dinner for her like twice. She bought me gifts for two…

Here's the real problem I have with "the red pill": He wants what all men want: he wants women to adore him and men to want to be him. I don't want either of these things. I don't want any woman to mindlessly "adore" me and I sure don't want other men to want to "be" me. I want to be myself, I want you to be yourself. If we get along, great. If not, see you around. I see no reason to try to manipulate people into getting along with me. There's this underlying thread that the key thing that men m…
