Ah OK, now I understand, thank you for explaining. Maybe I'm too optimistic but I like to see it as a development path: first when you're screwed by women (doesn't matter if it's because you have no social skills or because you divorce and the court screws you), the natural reaction is to get angry at the (perceived or real) injustice. But when this anger cools down a bit, the next natural step is to look for the reasons and solutions -that's when you can begin to develop yourself. I see r/mensr…

I'm not sure which part of my post you disagree with. I agree that many people there have the wrong mentality (just like in the general population) -therefore they could benefit from this community, especially guys getting out of bad relationships this way or that. At the same time, someone successful in seduction may need some advice from mensrights at certain points as well, plus as you wrote the interests are common in many cases (best example for both would be false rape claims).

It's a sad day when two such frequently misunderstood communities like r/seduction and r/mensrights bash each other... Both have a few angry idiots (as you've just pointed it out about r/seduction), but they are not the majority of either place. I see these subreddits as obvious, natural "allies", that's why I was so disappointed by your comment.

I thought you're talking about some crazy conspiracy-theory and wanted to dismiss it until I checked the link... Seems like I have to keep a more open mind. Thanks for the facts.

Very true, but I'm not aware of anything before where they'd try to enforce a radical feminist agenda... This is new and extremely worrying.

Oh fuck. I hope it won't be actually implemented, that'd be a toxic precedent in Europe... Of course, it's unbelievably fucked up that it could be discussed openly and there are advocates for this...

I have no idea about r/anarchism but it's quite ironic to read this opinion about r/atheism on this subreddit -and especially in this topic... In my opinion, both MR and atheism are topics where you generally can not openly admit what you think when you're talking to people around you. I don't mean friends and family (there you will be honest of course), I mean any other situation where you meet people. You see these revolting things every day and you know that you can not challenge them the way…

This should be on top. The key attributes of a nice guy are that he's needy and lacks self-confidence -both are huge turn-offs for women. The nice girl is, indeed, the same, as described above. She may get fucked just for fun (from this perspective she's luckier than the nice guy) but noone will respect her or get in a serious relationship with her.

You are of course correct about the US, but I don't think it's fair to put Europe on the same list (where BTW the countries have different family laws). I understand if you're referring to the madness that sometimes happens in the UK, but do you have examples from anywhere else?

For instance, you appear to assume that it's wrong for her to refuse to pay for her own movie tickets or drinks if she's not having sex with him but it's acceptable if she is or if she might. OK that's a good point, I should've been more clear on that one. I believe that the normal thing to do is that regardless of gender, treat all your friends the way you think is right. So if a guy always invites friends because he feels this is the way to treat friends, that's cool, regardless of what I thin…

Why do you think you're misunderstanding that? Because suggesting to take sex out of relationships sounds like the perfect advice to create more mentally/emotionally abusive women. You know, the type that believes it's perfectly OK to have male friends who are clearly wanting more but don't have the communications skills/self-confidence to be assertive about it, and "using" them for emotional support, or even as a free movies and drinks voucher. Do your friends not provide affection and act as c…

OK you guys seem to like this article so please explain something to me. "Now, here’s the part that always blows my mind. Some of you reading this right now are saying to yourselves, “I’m no prostitute, but how am I supposed to get affectionate attention and emotional security from a guy without fucking him?” If that’s you, go sit in the corner. You don’t get to play anymore. The rest of you probably get my point, even if you think it’s a bit unsavory. It boils down to this: if you don’t want to…

Man, you very clearly made your decision already -and I can only agree with you. I don't agree with what others say here, I can see that you talked to her and you can't push it further because of her reaction. You know you won't be happy with her. You're at the age and situation when the world is yours. I know it sucks, I know exactly the feeling when you feel that you'd be a bad person if you'd do what you want to do, but... The tough truth is, you made up your mind. It will not go away. The so…
