I want to go that route because it's worked out great for me before. I'm not scared to be seductive and I never said you can't be...like I said when I mean "friends" with a girl, I mean there's still interest/attraction. You can be seductive during the process and she can too. My main point was that you don't have to initiate a thing with a girl by pickup.

Ahaha that's good news. If you're inexperienced this stuff you should just take people's advice as a guide rather than do exactly what they say. There's good general principles to follow though. I think at first You should try your best to feel comfortable and be yourself. Just Enjoy each others company, and get to know each other more. I obviously can't give you perfect advice because Every girl is different and I'm not there with you to observe her body language or what she's saying.

Well firstly I think when you're real friends she's not going to "take advantage" of you. Also, Why does everyone here get the notion that if you're friends with a girl you're automatically the submissive one? You can be the dominant one, or both of you could be on the same level. You guys here often say that girls are just humans too and don't put them on a pedestal, yet someshit you say contradicts this. Also about the whole thing where you're friends but she's not attracted to you/or has a bf…

EXACTLY. I agree completely the "friend-zone" happens to people who are just needy and desperate and the girl doesn't want to hurt them too badly so they stay "friends". Honestly at that point I don't even consider it to be real friendship. And by the way I should have mentioned that I've had two genuine relationships that initiated with being friends first. That's why I'm so adamant about doing things this way rather than pick-up style. It hasn't failed me before.

I just want to approach in a friendly manner (that subtly suggests I'm interested in them), rather than one that's like "give me your number so we can hook up later" (because I don't actually want to). Iunno, I've always felt that if you truly connect/ACTUALLY be yourself with someone it will eventually work its way there. If it doesn't then it was never meant to be? Just to clarify: I'm not looking for hookups - rather I'm scouting for something potentially meaningful... Am I in the wrong place…

A lot of good relationships start with being friends...as long as it is genuine and mutual. And just because you're "friends" doesn't mean there isn't lingering interest.

I don't think he's saying he's a "master". He has been successful and just feels comfortable with himself now, so he doesn't want things to confuse him or make him second guess himself.

And that is why the prequels are stupid.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
