1	You do know Marines beat women for a living right? I kid, but seriously she asked wanted to fight. You're right, it wouldn't help at all. There were some different holds and falling techniques they taught us up through gray belt (I never went past gray), but nothing that would help with boxing that I can recall. 2	You do know Marines beat women for a living right? I kid, but seriously she asked wanted to fight. USMC does have a martial arts program. You get your tan belt in basic and then I was required to go up to gray belt at my first duty station. I will say though, that if that country ever gets it's shit together, I'd like to go back for a visit to see some of the historical sites there.
