I agree to what most people have said, but I would also add that he must be well-traveled either due to a job or because of personal interest. This shows he's been exposed to other points of view and has had to adapt to the environment, instead of having an insular entitlement mentality that local "murican boys have. I have lived in many countries and speak several languages. I don't wont anyone who is less urbane than me. must like cats ( I don't have a cat, but due to some quirk, the only men …

I was actively practicing FDS principles, like not giving him sexual attention before month 4, not initiating contact myself, not bending over backwards for him, not revealing too much of myslef, not inviting him to my home, making him respect my boundaries, making him plan dates, not getting emotinally attached. And this is the only reason I was able to maintain my composure, cut him off when I felt disrespected. FDS says that sexual attraction/infatuation fades at the 3/4 month mark, and guys …

He made a half-assed, very low effort " pretend-care" gesture. He texted me that he wanted to call me after i sent him a note saying that " I feel your priorities have changed in past weeks and that at this point it is better for us to call it a day." He asked me if we could have a phone call. I told him that there was not much to say. (A man who truly cared would not ask for permission to call. He would pick up the damn phone and call. ) He texted me that " I may be right, or I might be wrong."…

Well, Holidays are great vetting opportunities to discover who the LVMs truly are. I was going out with someone who masqueraded as HVM since August. He planned a date almost each week until the holidays came. We discussed our availablity for the holidays, - he was off and I was off and that we're not visiting our families this year due to Covid reasons. We discussed all the fun activities that would be great to do when we have time off work. He seemed really into it, and said he would research i…

also - bimbo watch out for patronizing words like: honey, cutie, baby, sweetheart, darling etc. and for maddonna/whore complex: gorgeous, goddess, etc. Just call women by their name. that is enough.

After the date - Does he text you immediately after the date and ask you for another? That's a bit desperate ( orange flag). If you are going to reply to him and want to go out with him again, wait until the next day and reply asking him in a non-commital way ' what plans did he have in mind for the 2nd date" before accepting. DO NOT ACCEPT A SECOND DATE WITHOUT SPECIFIC PLANS, place/date/time that are acceptable with you. If he does not text/call you the day after the date saying about how much…

Major Red Flag: Does not confirm the first date on the day of before 12 noon. This is a HUGE LVM/HVM separator. SOO many guys fail this. Communication on the day of the date before the event itself is such a powerful tell! It predicts and says a lot about the guy. Pay very close attention to how he does this. I know this from hard earned experience and introspection, it reveals a lot about his inner workings, deep seated beliefs, and intentions ( and yours too). It is natural for him&you to wond…

doctors, lawyers, politicians, actors, techies, and bankers always get at least an orange flag. the cultures of the places where they work are structurally mysogynistic. even guys who were good before they entered these institutions become mysoginisitc by osmosis of being there too long. threre is also a certain type of man these professions attract. I'd always be very cautious to men belonging to these professions.

Is he late? A gentlemen always either waits in front of the restaurant or inside for the lady. If he's late on first date - he's a goner. Meanwhile, it is a lady's prerogative to be a 10-15 mins late to the date. Just be polite about it and text him if you'll be late. If he gets upset at you being 10-15 mins late, - he's a goner. When he starts giving you excuses, know that he would not be late to a meeting with an importnat client. You are even more important than the client. Clients would not …

For internet dating: remember your company is a privilege and the guy has to be going out of his way to earn that privilege. Revoke that privilege at any time you feel disrespected. Your power is the power to walk away. Do not give the privilege of your company too easiliy, - he has to work to impress you. The first date is all about your comfort and his proving of his skills, wits and charms as a man. He has to make it very easy for you to show up, be pretty and have a relaxing & delightful con…
