But when that fails, or is not even possible, then I don't see why such people should be devoid of support (as would be suggested by Ayn Rand's view, which is what scares me when I see it coming out in speeches like this). No, this actually perfectly fits the definition of "nanny state". What you could actually do, is not support bars that do this by going to them. I know this story hasn't gone this far but I can't imagine how some men are able to live on after a women robs them dry both financially and of their family for their entire lives.
