Doesn't item #1 on your list reveal the paradox of the Red Pill: if you are a natural alpha, you just are, you don't need to read advice on this subreddit; and if you are not a natural alpha, no amount of advice reading on this subreddit is going to transform you into a natural alpha. Since discriminating between natural and fake alphas is evolutionary adaptive for women, women are endowed with great skill at separating the naturals from the fakes. So, forgive for asking, but what's the justific…

Focus on what's ugly and disgusting about them: the bad fish odor, the fat, the yeast, etc.

Are you sure you are a MGTOW?

What about the fact that you hold too strongly to the identities of being (a) a male and (b) a straight male at that? Judith Butler would say go all the way and refuse the straitjacket of any overbearing essentializing identity - you are the sum of your performances, you are free to choose how and what to perform.

The guys at the MGTOW subreddit are not necessarily losers or suicidal: many of them aim to get financially successful enough to afford nice things like escorts, travel, fancy cars, etc. Others emphasize peace of mind, minimalism, and an embrace of stoic philosophy, etc. There's much more to life than chasing the opposite sex.

Hmm, I was surprised to learn that broad faces are more attractive than narrow ones: somehow I assumed that women like horsefaces, that they go for guys with narrow but tall faces. I guess I need to sharpen my powers of observation.

I think there are two classes of arguments against MGTOW: (1) It is intrinsically offensive to women, because they think they deserve to be wanted and admired. This in the future will likely take the form of women getting vindictive and trying to frame the issue as "MGTOW people hate women and therefore I feel unsafe. The law should ban MGTOW because it creates an unsafe environment for women. There's a slippery slope from hating women to becoming the next Ted Bundy and actually getting violent …

Out of curiosity, what's your SMV on the 0-to-10 scale? Lots of MGTOWs admit to being unattractive, but I am fascinated by cases of hot MGTOWs because they fly in the face of biology and they infuriate and worry women...

All the threads here and at MGTOW about Tinder seem to disagree strongly with your claim that Chad's attractiveness "has very little to do with looks". The girls select on Tinder based on looks, since other attributes reveal themselves primarily later on, at the actual date (personality, intelligence, charm, humor).

Sorry, I think the difference between us is that I don't equate Chad with Alpha. Chad = hot fuckboy who gives girls tingles, but they don't want to marry him because professionally he's a loser and doesn't have his act together Alpha = somebody of high social status that commands the respect and submission of fellow men. Unlike Chad, Alpha is smart, has self-control, has his act together, has career success, and all these features enable him to achieve social dominance. Betas are neither hot nor…

Then how do you explain that genes for higher IQ and self-control have been selected by evolution, even recent evolution within historical times for the human species? If the prototypical Chad is perfectly hot, but that's his only asset, then we should all be by now hot and dumb and lazy, which we are not.

So why should the Chad genes of good looks, low IQ, low conscientiousness, low self-control, and professional failure be deemed better than the beta bux genes of high IQ, high conscientiousness, high self-control, and professional achievement? I don't quite get why one set of genes is so much better than the other?

This pop evolutionary narrative sounds right except that it doesn't account for current facts: women are often in relationships with ugly but professionally successful males and what they want is not somebody even more successful but some hot fuckboy to fuck. How does the hypergamy narrative account for the desire for hot losers? (good looks, but no assets)? My understanding is that many MGTOW are pissed off precisely because they did achieve a degree of professional success and women still don'…

Your account is incomplete: it does not describe the mix of biological assets that qualifies one to rung 7 or 9 or 10. Further dissection of issues pertaining to height, weight, age, facial structure, skin color, bearing, overall class, is required.

I think height matters more for marriage, LTR, social functions, showing off with the partner to impress parents and friends. But it doesn't matter much when the girl is in a club drunk and horny and wants a one night stand - in this latter situation they may be more interested by a facially attractive shorter guy than by a tall ugly guy.

You lost me at the concept of "facial bone thickness" - can you post two pictures - one of a man who has it and one who doesn't have it, so I can grasp the specifics?

I've read your comments and you seem to be stuck in equating male good looks with a great face. Yet, you never seem to mention the importance of height. Why not? You think it's not as important as MGTOW and The Red Pill say it is?

The O.P. needs to read Keith Stanovich - The robot's rebellion: human bodies are vehicles for genes and genes manipulate us into fulfilling their reproduction. The unit of reproduction is the gene, not you. It is them that continue into the future, not you. The title of the book ensues from the idea that true wisdom and being alpha come from humans liberating themselves from their biological programming: follow your own bliss, instead of blindly following the interests of the genes you happen to…

Wouldn't the waiting for the one encourage the relatives/friends to try to find "suitable" girls for you and arrange to introduce them to you?

In neuropsychology, attention means worth. One looks at something if one is worthy of their attention. Because one is gay, one may not look at girls at all and resist all their cheap tricks to capture their attention. So no, one doesn't need to have low self-esteem or lack confidence, one just doesn't waste time on reciprocating girls' attention: girls have no value for them.

If you are poor, get a roommate, if you are rich get a bigger unit and become a landlord: you get to select who lives with you and you can control the terms of the contract (clauses that allow you to get rid of them if they misbehave). Getting a dog/cat could be a partial fix as well, if the roommate/tenant thing doesn't appeal to you. If the problem is more physiological and you actually crave being touched/cuddled, then go regularly to a massage therapist and/or escort/luxury prostitute. But b…

Smart! It fixes the loneliness problem as well. But some trouble could arise down the line if you guys have very different philosophies of parenting (so talking about it beforehand would be a good idea).

I also happen to believe that the possibility of improvement is not even throughout the scale. A 3/10 might become a 5/10, but I'm not sure an 8/10 can become a 10/10. The higher you go, the tighter the genetic leash.

I agree that a 3/10 male can never become a 9/10, but he can still improve his quality of life and self-esteem by losing weight, going to the gym, dressing well, and getting some plastic surgery. In other words, a 3/10 can become a 5/10, but never more than that. Which means he can get 95 kg/40 year old women instead of the 135 kg/55 year old ones.
