That women can’t do math
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 02:03 PM

Thot be gone. You’re perpetuating this BS. You’re not all women, you’re just another ho posting nudes online.

No, I'm annoying
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/23 01:36 AM

You're allowed to have that opinion. But perhaps that might explain why you're not married anymore. Maybe it's because you share those same toxic views.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 03:42 PM

I couldn't care less. I really don't care that it's a bunch of incels doing the downvoting. This dude has a completely toxic view of women, sex and relationships and it's obvious to anyone who's actually had a real relationship with you know, a real person.

And yet, when men who report it stop watching porn, suddenly it goes away.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 12:41 PM
1

And your argument is what? Suddenly with the ubiquitous nature of porn, now sedentary lifestyles are creating a big surge in ED? Okay dude. Keep watching it if you want. I'm fine without it. I much prefer a real partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 12:37 PM
1

I disagree, that's fine. Sedentary lifestyles isn't creating the big surge in men having ED. That second study is bullshit as well. "Then the researchers wired the men’s penises and showed them porn. They had no problem raising erections while viewing it." Literally not what is being alleged. Of course those men had no problems getting hard while watching porn. The issue surfaces when they're with a partner. Porn is addictive and causes sexual dysfunction. I would be less convinced of this if th…

Right, that's why you constant ads for boner pills on TV and radio. Because so few men have it. A young, healthy man should not need a boner pill to get it up and yet you see countless reports of it happening.

Same logic as alcoholics. You have the fuck its.

Plenty of evidence to suggest porn causes sexual dysfunction in men. There are studies and plenty of anecdotal evidence.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 02:21 AM

You really need to stop consuming whatever is feeding this toxic attitude you have. I suspect, as I said in other replies that you’re consuming what seems to be a mix of incel and manosphere content. All that stuff is devoid of reality, like porn. You are doing yourself a tremendous disservice. I don’t want to just tear you down but honestly you need to do some serious reevaluation.

It’s typical incel logic
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 02:14 AM

Good for you but I have a long term partner so I don’t see that happening any time soon. I do agree with you that porn has had tremendous negative effects on men. Personally I don’t watch it because I’ve seen first hand how damaging it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 01:49 AM

Better off going porn free instead of that pseudoreligious nonsense perpetuated by NoFap and whatever that other sub is.

Isn’t that interesting how obvious it is? Doesn’t seem like it’s the solution you think it is
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 12:58 AM

I think you’re an incel. You have some pretty fucked up views on relationships and sex. I would be shocked if you’ve had a real relationship. But who knows. Maybe you’re just seriously out of touch.

Oh boy lmao. This is some incel shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 12:42 AM

Porn creates mentally created ED and your conclusion is that it’s mostly positive for men? It essentially neuters them and makes actual sexual relations difficult or impossible. That doesn’t seem positive to me.

Therapy can work but only first if you want to change, correct. To think of the amount of money I spent on therapists that I lied to week after week.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/22 02:36 AM

I agree a lot with this. There are some interesting concepts you can apply, but none of it matters if you don't apply the number one rule, which is have the discipline for constant self improvement. And frankly, whether you're a man or a woman, someone looking to always improve is sexy.

Actually I'm more speaking for how I treat it as a guy but it's definitely applicable across both sexes. It does take more for a man to do well, it's hard to disagree with that. Vaginas are fucking weird man, and figuring out what your partner likes takes some trial and error. What works on one girl may not work on another. I love trying to figure it out though, that's half the fun. And just for context, I'm fairly inexperienced myself in my view. But I try to be as aware as I can during the mom…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/22 06:11 PM
18

A lot of people are awful in bed because they're not present and they're treating it like a solo activity. Listen to your partner's breathing, watch how they react, be engaged in what you're doing. It doesn't take someone super experienced to do those things, it takes awareness.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/22 05:56 PM

What's wrong with casual sex where I care if the girl has a good time? What's wrong with that? Fun for all. Sounds like your issue is with ONS.

That’s why flirting and building sexual tension is so fun. It’s a game. Both partners are playing the same game towards the same goal that both acknowledge. As long as you play the game and don’t explicitly call it out for what it is, you can keep playing. That’s what makes it fun to play.

There's no support anywhere in the entire world for introverted type of men. You're expected to always be either physically or mentally (dominant, alpha, strong, stoic) type of man. That is not what introverted means. You sound depressed and isolated, not introverted.

You're 32 and you've never kissed someone? I mean jesus dude, are you not getting out there at ALL? Get the fuck out there, go on dates. It's not that difficult. You're rejecting yourself in your head thinking that it's less painful than rejection in the real world. It's not.

Because we are sexual beings and still have that primal urge. I fantasize about girls I want to fuck in my life and work to make that reality. Sex + emotional connection is awesome and fun. There's no better physical connection than literally being inside another person.

Because he fails to see the individuality in people while at the same time thinking he is the realist, most vivid and important person in existence. And that's fine, because that kind of self-centeredness is incredibly common and very human. But what I'm trying to get him to realize is that that uniqueness that he thinks applies to him also applies to everyone else. So a little critical self awareness goes a long way, as does empathy for your fellow humans. And I'm not saying that everyone is th…

And what stereotype are you? Wait, let me guess, you're not a stereotype because you're unique. Perhaps you're just a judgmental asshole. Maybe that's your stereotype. Or maybe you just have a critical lack of self awareness and a deficiency of empathy. Look inward, you will find the answer.

Nope. As unique as you think you are, you're not. The human mind works very similarly in everyone and current psychological consensus says you are wrong. Suffering silently is not a coping mechanism, it is just suffering.

That sounds incredibly unhealthy. I have a network of men in my life with whom I talk on almost a daily basis. We share openly and honestly about the things that go on in our heads and lives. To me, that connection is invaluable. There are things that we discuss that are off the table with our partners, whether male or female, and that's fine. But none of us suffer alone and I certainly would never want that. Feelings need to be shared. Whether you do that with a partner or men in your network i…

I have a group of six guys who I am close with and two that I am extremely close with. I typically call my closest friends once a day. I generally will speak to at least one of them per day over the phone and the rest I will text with often throughout the day.. My closest friends are exclusively men, I do not have any close female friends though I do have female acquaintances with whom I will mingle on occasion. I am a 30y/o male. Just talking about male emotion, I heard something very interesting from a woman at one of my AA meetings. She said that she had never heard a man talk openly and honestly about his feelings until she went to AA. One of my meetings is a men's AA meeting and that is meet is probably the highlight of my week. I wish other men in my life could be as open as I am and others are in that men's meeting. The world would be better off if people were more honest with how they are feeling.

I said this a long time ago, the whole movement would hurt women more than help. It was fairly obvious. Men are in power and when given a choice, in this climate, between hiring an equally qualified man or woman, the man is going to be picked almost every time. It's simply less hassle. This will change eventually, but not for like 50 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/18 03:57 AM
1

Yeah, that's not a bad idea. I'm just saying of the two, dating within circle of friends is fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/18 03:43 PM
1

And yet, it is still a bad idea. There are plenty of relationships that start in the workplace, flame out and create a lot of awkwardness. Dating within friend circles is fine and encouraged IMO.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/18 03:31 PM
7

Don't. Workplace romance is a bad idea and rarely ends well. It is only OK if you start going out before working at the same place, otherwise avoid avoid avoid. Do not shit where you eat. I stress this even more because you're older than this woman and there is a power dynamic which you are not grasping. Stay away.

Is a parent dying from cancer? Losing a parent is very difficult, my dad died when I was about your age. I was in emotional denial for years and completely cut myself off emotionally. That I can tell you is not effective. Grief therapy helped me tremendously. Here's a dharma talk by Ajahn Brahm, who I find has incredible insight into these matters. Perhaps it can be of some use to you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTTxctmBdVU

Nope. And beware of doing MDMA too much. The MDMA magic occurs due to it dumping serotonin all at once. There's no other way to replicate that feeling, MDMA is special in that regard. However know that the MDMA feeling is sort of like having no social boundaries and egolessness. Our barriers are there for a reason, they exist because something in our past experiences prompted their creation. MDMA can give you the insight to evaluate the efficacy and necessity of these self imposed barriers.

The horrific is also part of life. You can't have good without bad. You don't know beauty without knowing what is ugly or unpleasant. So yes, horror is part of it as well. I often frequent /r/watchpeopledie. It's a good reminder of the fragility of life and the randomness of the world. The nature of the world is randomness, unpredictability, we have no control.

I hate your view and actually kind of pity you. You have these glaring insecurities which instead of dealing with them, you project them on the whole world and everyone who appears in your life. But, that is how it works no matter if you like it or not, it's the law. There's a legitimate reason for why this is the way it works, and let's not forget it. My parents marriage always seemed equal but my mother did all the house chores, including cooking a meal for our family every night even after coming back from a full day at work. Whatever pill it was, it was a relationship that worked. I miss my dad, fuck pancreatic cancer.

Perhaps you just disagree with him so you're deaf to it, but he espouses many RP values. This is old but makes my point: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsGZXyreg6Q

We'll just have to disagree, I think the drinking is a major contributor. Not all the focus should be there, certainly not, but to me it seems to be a big factor.

I like thin women and only once have I dated a 'curvy' woman. She was a feminist who was also on the overweight side in my opinion. She was not thin, and not athletic. I didn't like being around her after a while, it made me uncomfortable. Call me shallow, whatever. I only sleep and date thin girls now.

Are we talking about sexual assault or rape here?...Rape is on the decline and has been for years. You say that the majority of rapists are repeat offenders, that's fine, go after them. What about the 1 in 5 women will experience 'sexual assault' in college. Surely those are not all rapes. So are you saying as well that these sexual assaults are committed by repeat offenders? Probably not in my opinion, but I don't have the facts to back it up. I can tell you anecdotally that cries of rape/sexua…

No one is going to disagree that rape is bad and that offenders shouldnt be jailed. I certainly won't. I'm more interested in the topic at hand which is the rape culture hysteria and what was said earlier about 1 in 5 women in college will be sexually assaulted. How many of those cases involve underage or excessive drinking?

I'm relating to the 1 in 5 women will be sexually assaulted. The number of rapes in the US has been steadily declining. So are we talking about sexual assault or rape. Feminists talk about 'rape culture' not 'sexual assault culture'

This is not a new problem. Boys and girls have been drinking and fucking in college for many many years. The only difference is that now regrettable sex for a girl turns into cries of rape or drugging. No guy would cry rape after getting blackout drunk and waking up in the bed of an unattractive chick, he would just call it regrettable. Somehow for women, it's okay to cry out when they have regrettable sex. It takes two to tango. If colleges really wanted to deal with this issue, they would crac…

The actual RAINN paper still takes pains to underline that 1 in 5 women will be sexually assaulted in college Perhaps the colleges should tackle the real problem which is underage and excessive drinking.

You're the idiot for marrying her, wow. You think kids would make it better? Moronic. Yeah...you were quite a dumbass. This is what happens when you have balls for a brain and you think marrying a cheater and then having kids with said cheater will fix your broken relationship. I guess I really can't blame you because a lot of people think kids "fix" a relationship. It's a big fucking wonder why so many marriages end when the kids leave the house. Good for you for finally taking control, average…

Baking and cooking meals are closer related, much more so than grilling. Baking is an exact science, you need precise measurements or it goes to shit. Cooking a meal has more leeway with measurements of ingredients and allows more freedom. There's a reason why 'season to taste' is not a line you would see in a baking book, except perhaps if they're talking about confectionary sugar ;) I'm not saying that every different medium of cooking something is a different skill but kitchen cooking and gri…

Somewhat but they are really different. It's the reason why you can be a great griller and be able to smoke a chicken over a coal grill and have it come out wonderfully, but still not be able to cook a fucking egg. I love this, I've never seen so many men get heir panties in a wad because I damaged their precious ego.

Your comment sucks so much. NARAL won't call itself 'anti-life.' What the fuckity fuck are you talking about? Just because you may not agree with giving women the right to choose about whether they want to go through with a pregnancy, doesn't make the people who fight for access 'anti-life' or 'pro-death.' Your post has NOTHING to do with PPD, TRP or TBP. It's just political bullshit. Back off to /r/politics with you.

A little perspective, it's hard to work out when you can't afford to eat properly and bad food (cheap food) makes you fat while being unhealthy and devoid of nutrition. It's not an excuse for most, but it is a big problem. Sometimes it's hard to understand how it feels to be hungry, full but sick, and still have minimal energy. Bad, cheap food actually makes you tired.

Well I hang around mostly betas, as one myself. I recently gave RP type advice to one of my friends, questioning what to do with this girl he has been on a few dates with, but had few feelings. It was interesting because the advice went over very well with not only him, but my other friends who were around as well. The irony is that the friend did not take the advice even though he had initially agreed with it, rationalizing some additional attraction. One of the other guys who also agreed with …

You are woefully ignorant of the child support system. Wage garnishes and jail. You want a mind boggling fact? Find out the average arrears owed by men in the US system. You also must recognize the original goal of child support. It was to shift the cost of support from the state (via welfare programs to the mother) to the father.

Emotional outburst? Hardly, bro. My answer to the original thread in /r/relationships, had I written one would be hardly dissimilar from much of the sentiment displayed here, mainly because I don't suffer cheaters/adulterers gladly. Okay, then no Gore Vidal. Take away that and you just have a grouchy asshole who would rather get payback for a slight years prior. Childish, assholish, and mildly sadistic.
