Probably meant share a bedroom, because otherwise why not go to his place anyway?

Don't keep it up. If something like a relationship forms, just shrug it off. "Remember how I said that...?" Don't wait too long, but do make sure there is something there first, and she probably won't care.

Dutch here, haven't had that problem since 16.

So that's why you used the term. Gotcha.

And yet you continue bothering with me. Do you want a monopoly or something?

Acting like women deserve more courtesy than men just because they have an extra X chromosome isn't moral, and giving her everything she asks for doesn't make you some kind of champion. You might have to learn to read. Nobody talked about anything like that, but you.

Oh, I'm sure you don't like conciously believing that I'm more moral than you.

I'm not claiming I do. I'm just saying that the meaning of the word white knight implies belief of lesser relative morality on behalf of the speaker.

Please define "morality." You used this word and I don't understand it This much is obvious. "White knight" is a phrase I use implying despite the fact that no one has a decision algorithm called "morals" that is "superior to mine", they act like they have one anyway. A white knight is someone who is actually good. The word comes from the heroes of fairy tales. They represent everything that is good in the world, in a fairy tale world of course. So it can only be used negatively by the bad guys.…

Having been called a white knight too often for just disagreeing with the objectification of women, I am definitely not agreeing with you. What I meant was that the fact that you said what you said is why people hate seddit. The term white knight is a derogatory term for someone who has more morals than you. Think about that for a second. "You're a morally better person than I am! I hate you!" is all I can think of when someone calls me a white knight.

Idiots. I hate these kind of "white knight" jackasses more than almost any other group on the planet. We're not about objectifying women - seddit is about understanding what "being human" implies and using it to your advantage. And furthermore, being openly chivalrous is the number one signal that you're a beta male looking for attention. If you have strong beliefs on what you should do in the presence of women, fine - have them. But publicly broadcasting them is analogous to saying, "hey, I'm l…

Honestly, that's a part of the 4chan culture I am very sad has seeped into the rest of the internet. Think about it. What's wrong about being a white knight? It just means you have proper morals.

It's not interesting if you're using a template. You've got to find your own way to be interesting.

Stuff like anchoring is valuable. Just like Seddit itself, it's all about filtering the information and taking only what you can use.

Were you there? Those words with a different facial expression than the one you're imagining right now mean something very different.

From Amsterdam, and having 010 in your username. You should tell locals about that, I'm sure they'll find it very funny.

You don't have to take the novel/film literally to take something away from it. There's a world of difference between appreciating the philosophy to apply it in your life and actually doing what the film/novel says word for word.

If she's not the right type of person for 3, then she's not the right type for me at all. That's brilliant, you need a girl with a sense of humour.

Well, we only give money to Greece as our fair share of the stupid European mandate. You could call that going Dutch.

Don't forget, this is a subconscious association for the most part. It's not overly strong, but it leans towards extremes. If you see a guy alone and a guy in a group, the one in the group will seem more socially attractive, and therefore with all other things being equal, more attractive as a whole. Of course, there are also women drawn to the whole lone wolf type, but it doesn't happen often. Most of the time it's just ignored because you have other qualities.
