The funny part is I rarely see underpaid men in a profession trying to get equal treatment. Women are more vocal because they've had to fight for the benefits they have and those benefits sometimes come under attack. I mean wanting equality is fantastic but try to be a bit objective.

I studied medical transcription when I was younger and was the only male in the class. I think we are all the same, but we aren't treated that way Because historically, factually, men have not been oppressed. Women have. Just like historically, factually, whites have not been oppressed by blacks, but it was the case in reverse. Context matters, you can't just pretend history never happened because now you feel less special. Today has been influenced by yesterday, which was influenced by the day before.
