I am always disgusted if anyone talks love and affection. Maybe I am repulsive and unworthy. I feel like that is misnomer. There is a genuine truth there, that if you hate yourself someone loving you, will not fix that and will not bring you the happiness you think it would bring. But this affection part sounds to me like bullshit. Being disgusted by people talking about love and affection can be simply caused by realizing how it is fake, transactional and built on lies most of the time.
