| 1 | CNN: Should false rape accusers be sued?If the person doing the accusing is doing so knowingly then yes the person being accused should sue them for defamation/slander, and whatever else they can sue for. The biggest part is that someone can falsely accuse someone by being confused about the situation, such as the person being accused "looks" like the person that committed the crime.
