People commit crimes because of circumstance. Poor people steal, mentally damaged people hurt. Rich people also steal. Relatively normal people also hurt. You can't just say "oh well clearly they are poor, that's why they steal." "They only hurt others because someone hurt them first" You're victimizing the people committing crimes and that is a dangerous path to go down

Our system tries to quiet victims by punishing people who've been accused of the crime as if that will help with their suffering. We need a serious reform of the system to aim it towards rehabilitating people who've been hurt and made stupid decisions. So, what do you suggest?
