I think it all depends on what you and your future husband decide on in terms of lifestyle, and the type of job he has. Every family is going to look different, and everyone has different priorities. For us, that meant (and still does) I stay at home no matter what. My husband feels very strongly it’s his job to provide for his family, and he does an excellent job. I love cooking from scratch, and while our grocery bill is high because I’m feeding a family of six and I buy quality ingredients, w…

Look, if you’re blessed with the income, then sure, by all means, treat yourselves. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.🤷🏻‍♀️ But I would also argue that’s a pretty far cry from “we’re a single income family living on 150k/yr but we live paycheck to paycheck and the RP mentality is so outdated.”

Seriously! We are a family of six on one income, and my husband makes about 90k. Yes, we make some sacrifices, but we don’t have any debt, all four of our kids go to Catholic school, and I’ve stayed at home since 2010 when I became pregnant with our first baby. Red pill is not at all outdated AF. But it does mean not buying the newest iPhone the second it comes out, not buying fancy cars, going on expensive vacations every year, or eating out multiple times per week.

While I commend your honesty, and I am so very, very sorry for the abuse you endured….I think your hope of finding a man (provided he isn’t asexual) who is perfectly fine never having sex for the rest of his life is VERY unrealistic. For many, in fact I’d argue most men, sexual intimacy is necessary in a marriage. It’s not just a matter of “getting off;” it’s that closeness and intimate connection with the person they love the most. I mean, I’m a woman and I wouldn’t be okay with being in a sexl…

I really, really hate this trend of celebrating obesity. Obesity 👏🏻is👏🏻not👏🏻healthy. Of course not every person has a six pack, not every woman is 5’9” and a size 2, just like not every man out there is 6 foot and destined to be on the cover of Men’s Health. But there is a huge difference between “average weight but not runway model” vs “I need to buy two airplane seats when I fly.”

Okay for real I need this vacuum. It sounds amazing 😁 This woman has entirely too much time on her hands and sounds like a whiny, spoiled brat. Talk about the epitome of first world problems. “I got this incredible gift from my mom and I love it but it only has a female voice because only women can clean and WAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! PATRIARCHY!!!”

I’m an anti feminist female. I definitely don’t hate women. But I hate what feminism has done to both women and men.

This exactly. I have two sons (as well as two daughters) and I am appalled at the way society and feminism demonize literally anyone with the Y chromosome. My husband and I are raising two kind, smart, gentle, brave little boys who will one day become wonderful men and a credit to society. They aren’t “dangerous” or “oppressive” simply because they’re male. And I refuse to associate with anyone or any movement that claims otherwise. I am so very sorry your mother said all of those terrible thing…

I remember reading the signs from that campaign. It was a whole lot of 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 I don’t need feminism because men are not inherently evil.

I feel like a bit of an outsider on this sub sometimes, as I am a traditional, anti-feminist woman (not because I’m an anti-feminist woman, but because my husband and I have a very traditional marriage). I’ve been a housewife/SAHM since I became pregnant in 2010, though I did work prior to my first pregnancy. In case you couldn’t tell by my username 😁 my husband is active duty Army. He has always been the breadwinner for our family, while I stay at home and raise our four children and take care …

I am so very sorry that happened to you. 😞 I know it’s probably too much to hope for, but I hope those two disgusting pedophiles are in prison.

I hear you. Your experience with your mom is pretty much verbatim my experience with my nonna. She was terrible to my nonno (I never met him; he died of a massive heart attack at age 50, the year before I was born. No freaking wonder), and she would fly into rages whenever he did anything even slightly wrong. She would go so far as to chase him around the house with a kitchen knife😳 She was abusive and highly critical to her children, especially my mom, who was the oldest. She drove away literal…

I developed my views over time. I am married to the most wonderful man in the world, and I have male friends who are some of the kindest, most incredible people I have been fortunate enough to know. Seeing the way society shames men for doing….literally nothing? Simply existing? Really made me take a step back and go against the common feminist rhetoric. I never really drank the feminist kool aid, but I can now say I am a proud anti feminist.

Very good friend of mine. He was married (divorced last year) to a woman with borderline personality disorder. No matter what he did, it was never good enough for her. She was convinced he was the worst, most vile man on the planet. Now she’s 52 with two divorces under her belt, but of course, it’s the evil men who are the problem! 🙄

I am so very sorry for the pain your wife is experiencing, both the regret over her relationship with her mom and the inability to have children. You sound like a wonderful, caring husband and your wife is lucky to have you. Wishing you both all the best.
