Both times i invited her to my place, she danced around it pretty much, but insisted on me finding a way to sneak into the dorms, which if i was caught, would get me kicked out of the actual school. I wouldn't say my behavior was weak in the past It could be anything here... the way that you made the invitation, the level of comfort you had established at this point (obviously implied by her preference for the prohibited dorms vs. yours), her inability to rationalize 1:1 hangouts (were you salac…

My friends from Toronto said the backlash hit pretty hard there; there were a number of high-profile news stories that negatively covered PUA culture (Vice), and as Toronto is a bastion of politically-correct progressive types (think Big Red), it's understandable that the scene has waned.

This is fantastic advice! I definitely second meetup.com. This is much more appropriate social strategy for a late 20's guy with responsibilities and a professional image to uphold than the de-rigeur club-bouncing approach fit for students and early twenty-somethings. One additional bit of advice: consider volunteering for a prominent non-profit or charity that does a lot of public events. You'll simultaneously flesh-out your CV, and also have the opportunity to interact with a lot of people in …

my voice was shaking as I spoke but I kept calm [ . . . ] I know that this was a small victory; one battle that I won; but I am fighting a larger war. Yet, I feel it is finally a small event that begins to change the dynamics of this LTR. You made the first step! Congratulations. Incremental action must always be applauded, as epic transformations are composed of a thousand minor adjustments. Your first foray into RP expression was bound to be tentative... especially given the fact that yours is…

Everything I've observed in this sub indicates that the core membership is pretty good at keeping the influx of charlatans at bay; commercialized seduction material seems to be quickly torn to pieces, and while a scourge of opportunists and marketers is hardly something to relish, the discussion of lower forms of game (canned routines, lines, etc.) is often fertile soil for further discussions of internal game and sexual identity, which is pure red pill territory. I wouldn't worry OP.

tomorrow night some pissed off guy could be waiting for you outside your work with a bat and some friends. You never know. It does happen. Absolutely agree. In tandem with sexual strategy, we on this sub necessarily fixate on mitigating risk; false accusations and unwanted pregnancies are anathema to TRP, and so countless posts focus on preventing such outcomes. These discussions of risk mitigation are considered an essential part of the red pill curriculum (they preserve freedom and wellbeing).…

I have a little clock on my nightstand that has a hidden camera built into it, as well as an app that allows my laptop webcam to record in secret(no recording light, no visible app) Care to share the app and product name? Those sound fantastic.

While I agree 100% with fnordsnord - this is a lost cause - I think that there is considerable utility in burning your bridges when you're a newbie to reach your indifference threshold faster. Your indifference threshold is the point at which you experience more pain from inaction than from the fear of rejection and poor reactions; i.e. your emotional constitution has evolved to the point where you tend to act more and to go after what you want MORE OFTEN than simply submitting and rationalizing…

at every party we hooked up. Nothing serious, just making out, fingering, etc. I'm reading this less as a shit test, and more as an indicator that OP missed the window of opportunity. You've fooled around numerous times, yet failed to close? Shit tests of this variety -- the anti-slut defense -- typically come when you've ramped up a girl's buying temperature in quick fashion. You've let this simmer, you've gone two months with radio silence, there's no buying temperature, and this girl ostensib…

While not "his + story," there are still gendered aspects to the etymology. from Greek historia "a learning or knowing by inquiry; an account of one's inquiries, history, record, narrative," from historein "inquire," from histor "wise man, judge" History: Etymonline

The dude used scripture to justify his assertive ways. I think that's more than a little weird. However, I don't think that the Red Pill should be in any way conflated with Emotional Abuse. Emotional Abuse frequently entails the encouragement of co-dependency and the subjugation of the spouse. TRP, on the contrary, encourages a healthy independence for both man and woman, and demands the dissolution of the relationship whenever the dynamic is no longer healthy for either party. Equating expectat…

Wholeheartedly agree. As silly as this sounds, the rapid growth of this sub has actually thawed a good chunk of my cynical self and inspired a great deal of hope. I am astounded and inspired by the fact that so many of TRP's ideas take quick root in men.

You're grasping the 'intentionality' aspect behind women's clothing choices (e.g. it's not about being pragmatic, it's about soliciting certain responses), but I think you're a bit heavy-handed in how you plan on exploiting it. Even expressing slight confusion or hesitancy towards a girl's fashion choices can really rattle a girl; after all, her clothing is the medium through which she is projecting her identity and her value. By reacting as if something about her outfit is off, you're not expli…

mass hysteria lol. For those of you who aren't aware, the etymology of 'hysteria': 1610s, from Latin hystericus "of the womb," from Greek hysterikos "of the womb, suffering in the womb," from hystera "womb". Originally defined as a neurotic condition peculiar to women and thought to be caused by a dysfunction of the uterus. etymonline source

As for public persona, I'm struggling on this part (if I understood you correctly). While I find myself amazing and would want everybody to know it, I also feel like I'm being pathetic for not being humble as narcassism is something I've always associated with being imperfect and being humble is perfection Ahh, and here's the lacuna left by your missing psychopathy; if you had this last dark triad trait in spades, the disjunction between private and public self wouldn't be so jarring. You'd be a…

Very good point; context is important. I defaulted to imagining a newcomer trying to drop these, and it was full cringe. A fresh beta convert, I can totally see trying to pull 'sometimes', but 'only when you're suckin my cock', oh dear jesus can I ever see that backfiring.

It's one variable, and that variable is friction. Whenever you're with a woman and you feel subtly pulled off of your path, that's a shit test.

Almost as much as the last chick, right before she cheated. Saying this would be woefully uncalibrated. Don't say this. Actually, most of these come across as pretty strained and try-hard. Might_be_sober has you beat with "sometimes."

The getting them naked first applies if they don't get involved in getting you stripped down [ . . . ] if he told her, "Take my pants off", she'd have been compliance tested, rather than freak out My mistake, I didn't infer this in the original, but solid point. The "sneak around the other side" is the same as a kino escalation, except it's an intimate kino escalation. I don't know how you can disagree with this. You don't start grabbing boobs on a kino escalation, you touch hands, back, belly, …

There's some gold here, but also some tin. The best way to deal with LMR is to "sneak" around the "other" side so to speak. This is horrible advice. Tiptoeing around her entire body is a mistake; girls know what's up, they're not caught off guard by this, if anything, they're repulsed by your adherence to a politically correct, conservative escalation strategy. This is what every bumbling college freshman tries when he's got a girl in his bed. When she's naked on your bed and she realizes you're…

This is such an on-point response. 'Amused mastery', I've never heard that term, but it's perfect; I've always likened the dynamic to 'baby deer snarling at a lion'. btw OP, this 'social awkwardness saved me' diatribe is poison. Don't let yourself frame your experiences in this manner again. You weren't saved, you LOST something here: had you had regrettable encounters with either female, you could have benefitted from the reference experiences, you could have used them as emotional fuel to furt…

There's probably some subtle shakiness in the way that you dole out discipline and ultimatums that's coming off as weak or hesitant to the girl; my guess is because, on some level, you still think of these actions as 'tactics' (cf. your terminology) to improve her behaviour and keep her around, instead of as legitimate, hard-line warnings. In other words, the girls might perceive you as barely treading water, barely passing their shit tests, which in turn prompts them to hit you with yet another…

If you're out with friends, this shouldn't happen, at least not this dramatically. Any male friend who insists upon maintaining his 'alpha' status at all times is a horrible wing; sometimes, guys do this to preserve their flow state, without realizing that their behaviour is seriously undermining their buddy. Good wings will seek to minimize the disparity, and help play up their buds.

two chicks [ . . . ] were under the impression I wanted more If these women are falling head over heels in love with you after the first time you hook up, then by god, you are doing a horrible job of managing their expectations. You don't have a 'curse', you're just handling these situations poorly, right from the beginning. Your mother 'indoctrinated you' to treat women a certain way; clearly, some part of that conditioning still informs your approach to women, and it is in conflict with the in…

They'll also come across as creepy if they choose to go indirect. If someone's poorly socialized, they're beyond discussions of the merits of indirect vs. direct anyways; they often need to spend a lot of time just socializing innocuously first, both with males and females, IN PUBLIC, before an injection of sexuality into their conversations can come off as anything but alarming.

the girl will make them look even smaller than they already are, which is not good for a man What is this? Who are we supposedly moderating our appearance for? This kind of logic strikes me as rather feminine, which is to say, concerned with the superficial appearances of things. Yes, if you're a short guy, you're definitely going to get grief if you date an amazon (I'm 5'7", dated up to 6'3"); however, that kind of resultant shit testing (both from her and from others) can simply be exploited t…

If you're a sheltered recluse who can barely muster a 'hi' for the girl manning the till at the grocery store, indirect is exactly the right place to begin: you have to learn that social interaction is not a risky endeavour. You will not face mortal threats to your wellbeing just by chatting with a girl. The indirect approach is inoffensive and will get the newbie accustomed to chatting with females in a manner that's unlikely to generate savage rejections; that's its primary utility. It's a 'wa…

Absolutely next her, or at the very least, become distant. She thinks her upper hand is holding your leash; let your behaviour and willingness to drift apart let her know that she's wrong.

Sounds great, OP, you should definitely pursue a monogamous relationship with a woman who's older than you, driven by the prospect of children and marriage, and yet maintains a lifestyle that is too complicated and convoluted to allow her to dedicate much time to you and your relationship at all.

The guy is shooting himself in the foot (cf. 'because cocoon' comment). Everyone else at that girl's place is quick to accept that he's an alpha, even the female at the door. This guy deserves no sympathy; sounds like all the ground work is in place, he just has to start adopting the behaviours that others already assume of him.
