Idk where you got this idea because it is actually very good thing to ask for consent, and that what you should be doing everytime. Asking is not necessary if all parties are lucid and mentally competent adults that can easily decline advances. You should not be doing this, like ever. Why not?

There are a lot of different forms of female circumcision, it's not monolithic. Ugly and/or introverted women read too many romance novels and expect chad to show up at their door to sweep them off their feet. They refuse to consider the possibility that they might need to approach men, or at the very least place themselves in situations where men are likely to approach them. Or if they get a man they just do not put any effort it And what effort do the women put? Behavior that women portray as "neglectful" or "disinterested" when displayed by men is often their baseline.

I don't think there is a "should". Approach if your interest in the person outweighs the effort and risk of rejection, otherwise don't. No one is obligated to make romantic advances. That's that. But I don't EVER want to hear an ugly women claim that dating is just as hard for them if she isn't willing to approach men. The way they talk about it, they think they're victims because men don't show up to their doors to proposition them.

No, teaching in prison is not a paying job. It's volunteering. So they're teaching prisoners for multiple hours a week on top of paid work? Or are they being supported by their husbands? Some are lawyers working on changing laws around custody. Some are advocates working with judges to change long held (incorrect) beliefs that children are always better off with their mother as a primary caregiver. Good for them then.

I know a lot more women, then men, working on trying to balance out family law and child custody across genders but with particular focus on fathers rights. And all of those women are feminists.
