First of all, why not date women your own age? Seriously. Anyway, being 30+ rules. I get way more attention from women now than in my early 20’s, I’m sure it’s the same for most guys.

Aren’t you attracted to intelligence? Why/why not? It’s almost as if different people are attracted to different people..

Of course they can. No feminist is going to deny it or say otherwise.

This is a great post. I’ve definitely been guilty of that myself. That’s part of the reason why I’ve joined this subreddit, to get a better perspective etc

Initial thoughts: Yes it has to some degrees failed the working class, of which half of us are men. III. Such as? I’d like to think all sane people can differentiate between masculinity and toxic masculinity. IV. I feel like we as men have won so much from feminism, more and more so with every “wave”. Let’s not let woke rainbow capitalism turn us against each other, under the pretence of being leftist.

That is 100% correct. Same as with islamists, nazis and other radicals. In fact, I’d say it’s our duty as men to talk to people who risk ending up in this milieu and to give them a more healthy perspective, as we are the ones they are most likely to listen to.

Yeah and that’s what they mean to liken one with with that insult is what I’m saying. Which is a major difference, right? Edit: oh, I see you’ve edited your comment now

If I say incel I refer to self described incels, people who identify as such and take part of that toxic culture and mindset. Not every single virgin. I’m prepared to assume that they use it the same way.

How to solve this? Well, for starters let go of the victim mentality. You put it well, this is just Reddit. Sure, there are some losers who say dumb shit. But there will always be a few idiots. It’s not real life.

Oh, liberals! Guess it comes down to semantics in the end but to me a feminist is by definition someone who wants to fight for all sexes rights and equality.

At the risk of outing myself as someone completely new to this particular subreddit, what is the problem with that exactly?

You don’t say where you are in life here so it’s hard to tel if it’s an actual problem or just life. I think this is normal for most people at some point. You’ll get used to it!:) You said you hardly talk to anyone anymore, that is the real issue imo. Having a diverse friend group helps a lot if you’re not used to hanging out with women. At the end of the day you’ll see what you already know on an intellectual level, that they’re people like you and me. Start there and focus less on romantic lov…

Not exactly what you guys are talking about but r/IncelExit strikes me as great and non-toxic from what I’ve seen

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
