| 1 | Women are sexually attracted to men; it's just that they don't have to approach men and they're too cowardly to do so anyway.Hey guess what. Guess what guys. I’m really special. Cause guess what. I’m a woman. And you know what’s super crazy that makes me super special? ‘Women’s heads turn, they look longer than a glance, they go slack jawed, and they do the point/glance/snicker/giggle at their girlfriends.’ I’ve never done that. Ever. Cause guess what? I’m not attracted to men, or anyone, sexually or romantically. Wow, I know. Crazy, am I right? Also, have you ever heard of this crazy new term, it’s called lesbian. | 2 | A wonderful example of post-relationship retconning aka 'the lightswitch effect'What this doesn’t take into consideration is A. The husband was trying to force her to have sex. That is never ok, and by justifying the husband’s actions and ignoring that part you are justifying that, which is objectively wrong. B. Making a man do chores around the house, especially when there are multiple children in the house, is a good thing. From what she makes it sound like, the husband wasn’t doing any chores and it was only her. Is that justifiable because ‘he’s a man’? C. | 1 | The ways in which men "hurt" women and women "hurt" men: are they the same?https://www.thehotline.org/stakeholders/domestic-violence-statistics/ according to this source, 1 in 4 men are physically abused, and 1 in 3 women are physically abused. Yes women tend to be abused more than men, but if you were to look at those women and men who were abused, I think that they would be just as abused, it’s just more common for women to be abused. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/11/20 02:30 PM |
| 2 | Why do some beautiful women become sex workers instead of marrying a rich provider?I think the most simple answer to this would be that they enjoy the profession or they’re not interested in marrying a provider. They don’t have to marry a rich provider, and doing sex work is perfectly valid and gives them money. There is no real reason for a pretty woman to have to marry a rich provider, and often women want to do sex work. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/11/20 01:02 AM |
| 12 | The ways in which men "hurt" women and women "hurt" men: are they the same?I disagree with this. I don’t think that any gender tends to abuse their partners in different ways based solely on their gender. And when people abuse their partners it is often mentally, emotionally, and physically. Though mental and emotional abuse tend to go together, physical abuse especially is accompanied with mental and emotional abuse. I don’t think that a man can do less mental abuse than a woman if they are physically abusive. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/11/20 12:52 AM |
