i agree with what you've said about both sides. i've seen the vitriol spewed forth by both sides, and i know i can't control it from their side, but i wish at times people here would be more willing to disagree with some of the seemingly hateful words thrown at women in general

i would tend to agree with your assertions. what the problem is, is that feminist focus is usually very solipsistic in scope. once you try and change that focus to bring up men, there is usually a backlash. i have seen many level-headed feminists that are willing to speak about the issues similarly to you, but i've also seen the toxic reactions to the MRA movement all over the 'feminist' centric subs on reddit.
