It’s not a perfect comparison, but it’s similar enough I think. People have preferences, and that’s fair. Also, I’ve only met a very few number of girls who actually set a height limit, while a large number of guys set a weight limit. Yeah, I know some girls who have admitted to “dating” just for the free food because they’re poor and can’t feed themselves. I don’t blame them, though. Yeah, movies definitely suck as a first date, but I think the idea is to see a movie first, and then go to dinner. That way you have something to talk about (the movie) while you eat and get to know one another. But my favorite dates are typically just meeting for coffee or drinks at a bar, or the absolute best, straight to the point, “drinks at my place” dates where you don’t even finish your first drink.

Depends on the girl, imo. If she makes it clear that she can’t pay prior to the date, then I don’t expect her to even gesture like she’s going to, and she won’t lose any points since she was clear upfront. But yeah, when that’s not the case, just the gesture alone goes a long way to securing a second date.

Also, if you’re unattractive and want to continue using dating apps, use one that doesn’t require a match to send a message and lower your standards. Yeah, I think both men and women think about cheating at the same rate, but women cheat more since they are presented with the opportunity more often than men. For a woman, she will get hit on by guys much more frequently than a man. All she has to do is accept to be cheater.
