Funny but mostly untrue.

How is it generational trauma?

Is there some context to this video? It's sickening yes, but context can provide additional insight into these sorts of things.

Yep, I disagree with cancelling in general.

As MRAs, one of the things we can all do is provide information and awareness for these realities.

I'm glad to hear you've done your research. If you want to dialogue about it you can pm me.

I hear you . Although I disagree strongly there is no point debating it on reddit so best to just hope either of us does our research and comes to a worthwhile conclusion.

This is a right neither women nor men should have.

That subreddit is a waste of time. Please can we focus on more pertinent issues involving men- seeing this kind of stuff can only at best make you rightfully indignant, and at worst disheartened.

Why not create a discord then?

Because it is a silly term that should be shelved along with 'toxic masculinity'.

While you shouldn't use this fact to measure out judgement towards the Metoo movement, you can certainly hold it against any person who follows said movement but tries to invalidate the MRM with guilt by association.

Why is this on MRA subreddit? Just curious as to how sharing this article helps the cause.

Oh... oh well. It wouldn't be a movement for change if it wasn't met with harsh resistance. I do wonder though if there are some people out there who wouldn't mind providing help for the 'toxic' 'incel' types, they could use some form of guidance towards a more positive, healthy and purposeful outlook on things.

Just curious, how did you find out that you were banned because of your affiliations with the MRM?

Hope you are able to talk about this with someone you trust, that kind of trauma is too much to carry alone.

Don't let this discourage, if we work tirelessly and optimistically a solution will be found. I for one believe both men and women should have reproductive responsibilities- in most cases, but certainly not one or the other, equality in this respect is the best solution.

Maybe create a discord server and moderate. Appoint men and women who are willing to help and work hard to prevent the server from derailing on its objective.

You bring up some points worth considering. It'd be awesome to see serious, good natured debates about topics like this. Thank you for taking the time to respond

Surely the mens rights movement can set aside time to provide support for its brothers? When did it become solely about equal rights?

And in the end, children suffer because of our bitter campaigns against one another 😪

Less incidences of male on female violence. Less chance of pregnancies taking place within untenable living conditions. Easier to provide privacy for men and women. Less chance of sexual abuse from men towards women and vice versa. Regardless of the group in question, I think theses positives are possible with this decision. So what negatives do you propose?

I hear you, what negatives do you think outweigh the positives of segregating refugees based on gender?
/r/MensRights14/04/22 02:51 PM

Guys, malicious single men pose more of a threat to women than the other way around, at least physically. It's impossible for us to determine the good from the bad, so the safest option is to segregate the genders.

Friend, we should give compassion whether it is reciprocated or not. I know it is hard, and I struggle with it whenever I feel wronged, but I can assure you this movement will benefit from it.

This post is pitifully bitter and devoid of compassion for the other side. We cannot and should not expect good attention if we ball our fists at a broken world. Come on, set an example for goodness sake, you're only contributing to the reality that men's rights movements are filled with bad actors and bitter, broken men. ( sure, find solace in this movement, but by all means try not remain resentful towards women and feminism!)

I hear you my friend. Don't think I'm out to minimise your pain and experiences, I think it helps more to clarify them. It is true that some people consider negative comments frequently made over time to be abuse; om a case by case basis we can determine whether that is true. If that was mostly what you meant by nagging, then I'm more sympathetic to the idea, but for clarity sake maybe it'd be better to differentiate nagging from criticism. ( I speak for myself here, since you seem to group them…

I don't disagree with you, but none of the scenarios you've described convince me that this is a form if abuse. Let's not be quick to do what we accuse feminism and other movements of doing, that is using words and terms in inappropriate contexts.

Try not to get stuck on these stories men, you have greater things ahead of you. 🌱

I disagree. At its worst, 'nagging' is nothing more than a byproduct of poor communication. Perhaps worse trauma in your relationship can lead you to paint most even mildly negative experiences with the same red brush - Don't do that, it's a trap, and you'll suffer far more if you fail to sort through your trauma and separate the poison from the fertiliser. Go on well friend, I wish you the best for your recovery.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
