Depends on your circle. If it’s some alt artsy group, then no. If it’s moving your way up in corp America. Then yes.

For you maybe sure. Loads of women it’s the core kink.

I’d honestly say a lot of women have not quite a rape kink, but more a “man who I did want pushed the issue despite my objections and it was really hot”

Ohhhhh ok so it’s a small minority of women who are into romance novel porn but all of us fuckwits are into aggressive video porn. K

I think the part that you’re not getting is it’s not a feminist conspiracy but a human problem. People are interested in men in so far as they serve a purpose. Including other men. When people harp on feminism it’s usually because they want to pretend this isn’t the case and it’s only great to be a dude.

The people who say this have never had to face that so it makes it funny.

Implies that all the too hot and too cold experiences kinda suck.

I might jest with women but if I’m single and getting off on an OF model I’m not sharing that. Lolz

Sometimes men just want to want and have it work out.

Are you kidding I’ve seen them get some after a “bad breakup”. But yeah generally not as likely to get something out of the deal

Yeah it’s not so much about having or not having sex. It’s about if you could vs you wanted to and clearly could not.

I’d say almost all men and women I’ve met who aren’t at the top have done it once and realized what they were doing and don’t repeat it. They don’t like talking about it or admitting it though.

Yes this seems accurate. Orbiter is the male equivalent of a side chick for a top 15% guy.

Or could be society is less rigidly segmented into social groups. People are more willing to explore. But honestly I don’t know.

That’s really the differentiating point. Wants to and can’t is not attractive. It’s most guys that haven’t been laid in the west unfortunately

I think there has always been a narrative that if you work hard and are pleasant in this culture you’ll find someone you like that appreciates you. That isn’t true. “Bad parents” often means poor parents. Women tend to overlook looks a bit if the family is “stable” and has money. A lot of the criteria which causes both sexes to “fall” for another person has little to do with personality or work ethic. Those are small puzzle pieces amid many parts. I think a lot of people who are against red pill…

I think that a lot of people that follow these perspectives have been hurt or humiliated. To be honest to me it doesn’t mean that these perspectives are wrong. They’re not, life can be utter shit when push comes to shove. But you do have to keep trying and finding the good in situations. The most vocal red pillers and talking less about the truth of what’s being said (and often it’s pretty true) and more about how they’ve been hurt, Abandoned, or marginalized.

Yes there are a lot of men in this sub who are looking for a unicorn. I’ve never been like that. Can see beauty in a lot of people, apart from sex tbh.

There is a difference between being into a woman and what you’re gonna do about it. I’m a living breathing man and I find around 80 percent of the women I meet under 45 attractive. But if I’m friends with one, well it’s the lines you’re willing to cross.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/23 01:49 AM

I think that it’s a two way street. Would be the first one to agree that men do shitty and inconsiderate things. But everyone has to try to work things out. 4 husbands is a lot. No shade but are you sure your perspective and feelings didn’t just change as you got older? So you notice more of the good and less of the disappointments...?

Oh I agree. Not a shit on the womens moment. Just pointing out why it can seem so light switchy like what was commented below. Different survival pressures.

Seems like an evolution thing. Like when warring tribes take over a village they often keep the women after killing the men. Women would have to be able to turn it off their love for a former partner reasonably quickly to survive and thrive.

I’ve had sex with a fair number of women and a few men in my life. One of the keys to that is that I didn’t discriminate. I like sex so if I liked the person and found them attractive on some levels there was a good chance it was happening in they wanted it to as well. It did help that I was a solid 7 when I was younger as well. Always found that women with more body hair (they may groom to whatever level) were more interested in casual sex. No I’m not implying that they were masculine women, ma…

I find that it’s relative. People want at least as good as what they have typically. Either that or it’s made up for by a looks differential.

Try getting gov money (as feminists do for the bulk of what they use) for any of the issues for men you listed. I’ll wait.

It’s not about skills it’s about motivation and preference. I work with brilliant female engineers. You wanna force women to be like men. I’m perfectly ok for the women I work with to engage in the way they want and have the preferences they choose.

Which part is BS. The divorce rates or the women having tinder trains run on them in their twenties? “I’m a biologist” = on Reddit: they let me into a cow herd masters
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 01:10 AM

The issue is - in a lot of more primitive societies we move back towards a tournament model. Few men with most of the women. When you look at dating app stats that’s kinda how it works. My cousin is a very good looking young man and he cleans up on tinder. Good looking and less good looking women. So you reach a point where the ugly engineer making ok money is not going to get a wife. Even women of his looks level can get as much or as little sex as they want from better looking men three tiers …

We can argue about how effective capitalism is in promoting happiness in people. For sure, and to be honest I think it’s complicated. But saying that marriage isn’t about promoting social cohesion and guaranteeing paternity for the male and investment in the children for the female is silly. If you’re not Brad Pitt, Elon Musk or Lebron you want to get married so that you can have kids of your own and a respectable life. The family that you endure your shitty job for provides the vast vast vast m…

99% of people do x, but 1% do y therefore don’t whine and complain and take your y. Edge cases for all! Dismantle society and live like Newton or a hermit! Makes sense.

This is what people in their early twenties think. And then you realize that everyone in their 30s only talk about their spouse and kids.

The women usually have to be a bit masculine themselves (doesn’t mean they are not attractive) for them not to care. But the vast majority of socially typical women are creeped out by it.

Sure but it’s the brain’s ability to deflect that which determines happiness. Case in point. It’s often like the bad student who is like “nah dude I didn’t study or go to class anyway”. The more you diminish the rejection or pretend it doesn’t matter… happier you’ll be.

Oh you’re not lacking in general but you certainly were for him. Glad you have a positive attitude. One skill in life is reframing rejection as less of a rejection. Glad you have that figured.

It’s more you don’t want to have to put up with bullshit from someone just as ugly as you are. In the eternal wisdom of the counting crows: We all want something beautiful. We put up with the ugliness of attractive people because they are attractive. No one, even ugly people, want to put up with the ugliness of ugly people.

That’s fair and that’s a case I missed. Religious. By the way I’m happy for you both and your stable relationship. Do you think that more men and women could benefit from the community and sense of responsibility that often comes with religion?

So is he a doctor or is he inheriting a business/other family money? Genuinely curious. Most women who are good looking like you’re advertising will go low count on the guy if he’s nerdy but super status potential or family money.

Therapy either is really shitty or decent. You have to find someone that you click with. Plus you need good insurance to keep going.

I'd say it speaks more towards the high body count people who feel insecure about it than it does towards the "haters of a high body count". Out of the ~150 women that I knew personally with a high body count, exactly 2 were well adjusted about it and happy.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/22 11:05 PM

Why do you feel bad for their wives? No judgement (got my own past, as do we all) but were you promiscuous and feel bad about it? The "people" vs. "men" slip there is pretty funny.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/22 10:41 PM

Ehhhh... are we talking single or double digits? Talking a experiment per year in college and then 2 boyfriends after and then a husband or we talking the 5 guys a year and is single in their early thirties? Cause I have never, ever met a woman like that who ends up with something stable and monogamous. Sometimes I think that these online discussions are being done by people who don’t know any of the people being discussed.

It is a bit, and I enjoy it. I think the attraction (for both the giver and the receiver) is the domination aspect.

yeah but guys can compensate by having the right attitude, which raises them by even a couple of levels. An ugly guy can become average looking by being fun. Then if we has everything else going that's at least another level boost in how much people will consider hanging out with him and getting naked.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/22 08:03 PM

ehhhh I think there is some truth to this. I had a number of affairs with married women when I was younger and their sexuality would "turn on" because they found me attractive. Anyways, not proud of that phase of my life. But I think for a majority of women it's a thing. If she was attracted to you she'd be into it at least once a week. The funny thing is they're all surprised when it happens. "Oh my, I just thought I wasn't into sex but here we are". Like 2 of them had been seeing a doctor thin…

ehhhh it depends on where people start from. Everyone is different. And if your profile picture is you... well you may be misattributing your incorporating patrice o'neal insights on social game for your success. I'm a big nerd and slightly overweight now that I'm older. But I'm still conventionally good looking. Still a solid 7. That goes a long, long way. For both women and men.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/22 05:47 PM

The issue is a lot of western women are gunning for the same top 10% of guys. In other countries women are a little more down to earth. As other have commented they have their own games too, that's true.

so ride the carousel for a bit. When I'm being fully honest looking back and the women I was involved with in my twenties - most (including the ones that yup just had a huge libido) were in a weird relationship with that process. They wanted a man out of their league (not saying men don't do this too in their way) to just learn that they were the most specialist unique woman out there and love them for who they really were. When it came down to it the whole thing was holding out for better offer…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/22 03:08 AM

ehhhh not really. People usually back rationalize people not wanting them. "I was never really trying" is the excuse of both men and women that I've met. Everyone wants to be around other people. Partners or otherwise.

So intensity in some sense. Without being off the rails.

Eh you could say that about basically anyone offering advice. It’s all based on common sense. Most jobs are their own little racket too.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/22 06:15 PM

Well. I think that those people that do that would be very unhealthy. Not defending the behavior at all just saying it's pretty explicable in terms of the numbers.

I don’t think it’s just sex. For me at least (and for a lot of men I’ve met) sex intimacy and social acceptance are kinda tied together. I don’t disagree with your proposed solution for an individual getting rejected. I’m just also saying that nothing but rejection for a while could also lead to a lot of bad mental health outcomes.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/22 06:30 PM

It’s not but think of it practically. If every time you approached someone you get shut down. It’s not going somewhere good.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/22 02:17 PM

I often think that if I wanted things from women and couldn’t get anything at all the likelihood of bitterness would have been high.

Confidence usually comes from having money or a hot chicks knowledge that you have been with other hot chicks she knows. That vetting is usually cat nip. Source ugly guy with a similar story.

It’s not that “you need to learn both” it’s that you need to match whatever the threshold of the woman you’re with is. Some like more dominant some like slightly less.
