If you have no intention of dating them then you have an obligation to stop socializing with them. It’s disrespectful to friend zone someone. They need to get on with their lives. More importantly there are women that will want their love and by leaving breadcrumbs you are blocking that. Don’t friend zone people.

I’m sorry I wasn’t clearer. We were referring to two different people. 😀 Yes of course your romantic partner should not carry all that load! I agree 100%. I meant like sisters, mothers, cousins, grandmothers, female mentors, people like that. I think men are better off with women in their lives that they respect and learn from. The fact is men need good women in their lives - I mean non romantic relationships with women (family members mainly)

I hope you find each other one day. You will recognize it right away. All the things FDS says you should expect a man to do, he will do naturally if he loves you. There will be no mistaking it. That’s part of why I love FDS. All the things they say men should do are the things that I would love to do. Makes me think these feelings are good ones. What I have is what people want. My love has value.

You are exercising moral influence on others whether you like it or not. Please make sure it’s a good one.

Sorry I think I misread your comment. I thought you meant that no man is worth the investment and that they are all incredibly disloyal. Do you think that at least some men are worth the investment and are loyal?

If I understand the OP correctly a man in love can make him much more focused and self sacrificing. I think that’s what he’s trying to say. If that is so then I agree. A man like this will feel restless until he knows the woman feels safe and taken care of. It propels us to make sacrifices and make efforts that surprise us. It’s really focused on serving the woman’s interests. It makes us feel masculine in the most wholesome way possible. The feeling’s like : “I got this. I will fix everything a…

If they are not worth the investment then why do you even bother with FDS?

I’m surprised to hear you say that. I thought porn was against FDS principles?

I agree the profit motive is a big factor. If you give me a referendum taxing these “businesses” at 100% rate I will vote yes

It’s money! Let’s tax them 100% and take the profit motive away. I’m all for extremely heavy penalties for traffickers. Really they are slavers. Porn aside I think there are people that for one reason or another choose to serve the male gaze. Maybe it’s for attention or to boost their ego. Maybe it’s just an easier way to get money. Who is forcing all these Instagram “models”? In an ideal world the women would correct these people. If men try to do it, it will be seen as controlling women’s sexu…

If women are being forced by someone then of course they are not responsible. I do say that the vast vast majority of women that serve the male gaze are doing it purely by choice and so are responsible for the impact of that choice on their fellow women.

I’m sorry for your loss. I hope everything turns out for you and your children.

So women who are in porn or serve the male gaze are not responsible for conditioning many men to see all women as objects? Of course they are not the only ones responsible but they bear a large part of the blame.

People who take a leadership position in society take it on themselves to teach others with empathy the right way to act, starting with parents. I hope you give this idea some thought because the world will be better off if you do. Also I’ve seen a few grooms with tears in their eyes and they are still going strong with the women they promised their love to.

You don’t seem to respect their feelings. Yes they expressed them weirdly and it was not right to put that emotion on you. They just don’t know how to properly channel these feelings because they have not been taught. You don’t have to reciprocate, just don’t look down your nose at them. These are the feelings that make someone a HVM. Men really need the women in their lives (mothers, sisters, cousins) to teach them how to channel these very natural, very powerful, and very good motivations.

Given the Supreme Court is majority originalist now, I like my chances. 😄

I love your comment about women taking more responsibility in teaching men. Women have incredible moral power that they don’t use. They are the civilizing force in society. Our first important relationship after all is with women: our mothers. I hope the day comes when all woman teach all men how to properly treat them. That’s part of why FDS is my favorite sub.

Government could just tax profits for these operations 100%. First amendment problem solved

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
