These really surprised me, but I guess I can understand some of these. In a country where women are fed victimization and taught that all men are violent rapists you get violent women that really believe that they are standing up for themselves by downsizing their men.

I'm not saying that laws or prosecutors are not skewed against men in cases of violence, I'm just saying that I think these women are bat shit crazy. As far as the last part, can you please reference a piece of legislation that specifically creates harsher punishment for men than women? Just for my reference.

I totally agree with this. I hold the door for whomever is behind me at a door, and to do anything else seems really rude...but like the comment below, it's not right to freak out if someone doesn't

So, I'm not exactly a feminist, but all the information I've ever read on feminism never seems to include "beat up your male counterpart" I do know that Femenist.com has some links for men, and even has offers a domestic abuse hotline that recognizes both abuses to women and men: http://www.feminist.com/resources/links/links_men.html I guess, all I'm saying is. These bitches are the exception. Some women are just bitches and have a huge sense of entitlement, and some men are just pompous jerks.

where in those quote's does she say "Beat the hell of some guy for not holding your door"? I have to agree the Oprah is probably pretty disconnected from common-folk, but I can't imagine her encouraging woman to track down men and beat them for not being "chivalrous"

I absolutely agree. These too women are not acting at all like feminist, but rather like a couple of immature little bitches. This is not anything like I've known any other woman to act.

Actually I totally misread. It says that they have statements from a couple that were in the same room as this man; for some reason I read it as he gave a statement for a couple.

It's ridiculous that this man was put away. At the time of the "crime", he was in a fucking police station!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
